Abstract

Iron sheet is produced by electrolysing an electrolyte so as to deposit the iron sheet on a cathode and stripping the iron sheet from the cathode, the electrolyte flowing at a uniform rate between the cathode and the anode, the surface of the cathode being displaced continuously through the electrolyte at a uniform rate, the anode being spaced uniformly from the cathode and made of a non-consumable material, and the cathode being heated at a practically uniform temp. The iron sheet is very uniform and has an acceptable Jenkins flex value in the range 15-20.
