Abstract

Three lifting arms for raising and lowering the warp are controlled by two rotating eccentric cam tracks rotating with the machine shaft. Pref. a cam follower is arranged on one end a push rod, the other end of the push rod carrying a rack which cooperates with a pinion carried on one of the lifting arms. The cam tracks are pref. provided with a radius variation over a 180 degrees arc. The mechanism is used when weaving tubular fabrics and is simple and inexpensive.
