Derivs. are of formula : and their salts (where R1 is lower-alkyl, -alkenyl or -alkoxyalkyl, lower phenylalkyl, lower cyclohexylalkyl, cycloheptyl and cyclooctyl-methyl, cyclohexyl, lower cyclohexenylalkyl, 5-8C cycloalkyl, endoalkylenecyclohexyl, -cyclohexenyl, -cyclohexylmethyl, or -cyclohexenylmethyl with 1 or 2 C in the endo-alkylene chain; (di) or tri-) lower alkyl cyclohexyl, (di) lower alkyl cyclohexenyl; lower alkyl cyclohexyl, adamantyl or nortricyclyl; Y is a straight or branched chain 2-4C hydrocarbon, pref. -CH2-CH2-; R2 is H, lower alkyl, -alkoxyalkyl or -alkenyl, -alkoxy, alkenoxy, -thioalkoxy, -alkoxyalkoxy or benzyloxy, halogen or trifluoromethyl; U is a 2-4C chain contg. (dihydro)benzofuran, (dihydro) benzopyran, dihydro- or tetrahydro-benzoxepin; R3 and R4 are H, lower-alkyl, -alkoxyalkyl, -alkenyl, -alkoxy, -alkenoxy, phenyl or benzyloxy).
