<Desc/Clms Page number 11>
' La crème de base a été additionnée , pour encore une autre série d'essais, de 20% de liquide amnionique,de 10% d'extrait placentaire humain, de 0,1% de chlorure de choline et de,1$ de tri-aspartate d'arginine para-aminobenzoyle-diéthylaminoéthanol (formule D).
<Desc/Clms Page number 12>

The present invention relates to cosmetic compositions exhibiting a moisturizing effect for the skin, which makes it possible to improve the complexion and radiance of the skin, as well as to greatly reduce its folds and wrinkles,
The appearance of the skin depends on its complexion, its radiance, its relief (folds and wrinkles) and its wear.
The relief of the skin can be influenced, as is known, by moisturizing cosmetic compositions which contain, as active ingredients, simple or associated, various products such as extracts (embryonic tissue, placentsires), animal serums or plasmas, amniotic fluid, plant extracts, lecithins, amino alcohols, such as choline, its salts or derivatives, etc.
The present invention relates to cosmetic compositions exhibiting remarkable moisturizing properties owing to the presence, in these compositions, of amino compounds defined below, the moisturizing effect of which was unknown until now and which have not yet been used in cosmetology.
These amino compounds can also be added to known moisturizing cosmetic compositions, of which they increase, to a surprising extent, the moisturizing properties.
The invention relates to moisturizing cosmetic compositions containing, as active ingredient, at least one compound corresponding to the following general formula:

In an aerosol container, the cream of the oil type is introduced into the water of Example IV, together with 8% by weight, relative to the weight of cream, of a mixture of 40% of dichlorodifluoromethane and 60 % dichlorotetrafluoroethane. This mixture serves as a propellant gas.

above, you can add perfumes (such as essence of r @ se, orange, jasmine, etc.), dyes or pigments (such as zinc oxide, titanium oxide, ocher, etc.) ), as well as preservatives or antioxidants (such as butylhydroxy toluene, butylhydroxy anisol, sorbic acid, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, etc ...) in adequate amounts, as is well known in cosmetology. ,
In vivo tests carried out using moisturizing cosmetic compositions according to the invention have made it possible to bring to light the remarkable moisturizing properties of these compositions.
These esssis made it possible to demonstrate the specific hydrating properties of the compounds of formula I, as well as the synergistic effect that they exert on already known hydrating products (amniotic fluid, placental extract, etc.), when they are used together with these.
The tests were carried out by application to the face (forehead and cheeks) of masks making it possible to take impressions before and after the treatment using various moisturizing compositions. For the taking of these impressions, compositions based on rubber or on a plastic material hardening on contact with the skin of the Laboratory of Doctor Renaux in Paris were used. The masks obtained after hardening on the face of a layer of compositions based on rubber or on plastic and after removal, read hardened layers making it possible to objectively assess the effectiveness of the compositions according to the invention promoting the disappearance or the reduction of skin wrinkles, mainly by moisturizing the skin.
The effect of disappearance or attenuation of skin wrinkles is determined by counting at + 1% close to the imprints of wrinkles on surfaces of 3 cm 2 of the masks.
<Desc / Clms Page number 11>
The count of the fingerprints on the mask taken before treatment with the aid of hydrating compositions serves as a basis for subsequent counts. A value of 100% is attributed to the number of impressions counted on the mask taken before treatment with the aid of moisturizing compositions.
As control moisturizing composition, a cream was used whose moisturizing power for the skin is attributable solely to its water content, this cream not containing any other active moisturizing ingredient than water.
The control cream used in the tests had the following composition (formula A): - Mono- and di-glycerides of plamisic and stearic acids 6% - Polyglycol ethers of saturated fatty alcohols 3% polyoxyethylenated - Ester of stearic acid and diethyldodecanol 10% - Preservative and fragrance qs

This base cream was added, for a series of tests, with 1% of para-aminobenzoyl-diethylaminoethanol arginine triaspartate (formula B)
This base cream was added, for another series of tests, 20% amniotic fluid, 10% human placental extract and 0.1% choline chloride (formula C), these three ingredients being used commonly in known good quality moisturizers.
'The base cream was added, for yet another series of tests, 20% amnionic fluid, 10% human placental extract, 0.1% choline chloride and .1 $ tri -arginine para-aminobenzoyl-diethylaminoethanol aspartate (formula D).

The various series of tests were carried out each time on 15 subjects aged 40 to 50 years before and after daily application, in the evening before going to bed, of the various creams (formulas A to E) for 30 days, or on the forehead , or on the subjects' cheeks.
The control cream of formula A and the creams of formulas B to E were applied respectively to the left part of the forehead or to the left cheek and to the right part of the forehead or to the right cheek. a) First series of tests
The 15 subjects were first masked before treatment and the number of wrinkle imprints was counted.
The average of the total number of impressions was taken and a value of 100% was assigned to this average.
The subjects were then treated, for 30 days, with the aid of the control cream of formula A and with the aid of the cream according to the invention of formula B.
After this treatment, the 15 subjects were re-masked and the number of remaining wrinkle prints was counted. By taking the average of the number of remaining wrinkles, the percentage of these wrinkles was determined, compared to that (100%) determined before the treatment.
