<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

"Shutter for aeration or ventilation unit" .-
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The present invention relates to a shutter for aeration or ventilation unit, comprising a fixed frame held against one of the front faces of the unit, by means of fastening clips, and a movable and removable flap that can be applied vertically. against the frame in the closed position or be disposed obliquely with respect to this frame in the open position, resting inferiorly against the lower edge of the frame and laterally against stop stops extending in the form of planes inclined respectively secured to the side edges of the frame.
In known shutters of this kind, the aforesaid frame is metallic. It is generally made from an element in the form of an angle iron which is bent at right angles several times so that its two ends are contiguous and can be assembled to one another, for example by welding. To allow such folding of this element, one of its wings must be cut 41 45 so as to have% recesses at the locations of these folds.
Known shutters have various drawbacks.
The production of the metal frames of known shutters requires several operations which make their manufacturing cost relatively high compared to that of the corresponding blocks.
On the other hand, these metal frames are deformed
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
easily which hinders their placement against the front face of the corresponding block.
Furthermore, said metal frames generally undergo degradation due to corrosion or oxidation of their constituent material.
The present invention relates to a new shutter whose frame made of a synthetic material such as polystyrene, is easily manufactured in a single operation by molding or by formate and makes it possible to eliminate the aforementioned drawbacks.
In known shutters, the stops and the hooking olips are also metallic. These accessories thus have der drawbacks similar to those inherent in the frame.
Another object of the invention is to facilitate the manufacture of these accessories and to eliminate their disadvantages.
To this end, these accessories are each made of a synthetic material preferably identical to that of the frame.
To obtain a good seal of the frame against the front face of the corresponding block, this frame bears a self-adhesive seal which is essentially made of rubber or of a synthetic material such as polyurethane and which is applied around the perimeter. of the frame on the side opposite the bl
To maintain the shutter in the closed position, this shutter is simply clamped in the frame against at least one clamping protrusion which projects internally on one of the edges of the frame. In this way, it is no longer necessary to use small magnets integral with the shutter and cooperating with the frame to retain this shutter in the closed position.

In addition, it has on the one hand, an upper wing 8 introduced between the elements 2 and 3 of the block 1 and hooked to the upper element 2 and on the other hand a lower wing 9 introduced between the elements 3 and 4 of the block. 1 and hooked to the middle element 3.
In order to ensure the seal between the frame 5 and the front face of the block 1 against which this frame is placed, said frame carries a self-adhesive seal 10, applied around its periphery, between it and the block 1.
The shutter 6 consists of a solid removable plate preferably made of a transparent or translucent synthetic material.
The shutter 6 can be moved or moved between a closed position in which it is arranged vertically against and in the frame 5 and an open position in which it is placed obliquely with respect to this frame 5 or to the unit 1 .. ,
In the closed position, the shutter 6 is held in the frame 5 by being clamped there against a protuberance or a clamping projection 11 disposed internally on the upper horizontal edge of said frame. Furthermore, to ensure the seal between the shutter 6 and the frame 5, the latter carries another self-adhesive seal 12, applied around the entire perimeter of the frame 5, opposite the seal 10
The seals 10 and 12 are each made of rubber or a synthetic material such as polyurethane.
In the open position, the shutter 6 bears lower against two end stops 13.
