 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

  Prefabricated element for boiler Maroel DANIAULT
The object of the invention consists in the production of a prefabricated tube bundle of interchangeable and divisible standard dimension adaptable to all types of boiler and allowing, by their assembly, to delimit both the hearth and the gas path.

   It is characterized by the means used, taken both as a whole and separately, and more particularly by the making of a panel of standardized dimension constituted by the assembly of two collecting tubes with other tubular elements, contiguous or not. , arranged perpendicularly by all appropriate means, this network ensuring the balanced circulation of the heated fluid,

   whatever its length, these panels can be juxtaposed and stacked

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

 sands in order to achieve both hearths and hot gas paths of a boiler
In the accompanying drawings, given by way of non-limiting example of one of the embodiments of the object of the invention:
Fig 1 shows a perspective view of the standard element characterizing the invention
Fig 2 is a cross-sectional view of the assembly of a tube with its manifold
Fig 3 shows a sectional view of the juxtaposition of two panels to form a hot gas path.

   Figs 4,5,6 schematically show some applications of the prefabricated elements to the various types of boilers.

   The generator is constituted by two collecting tubes 1,2 fig I formed by large diameter pipes.

   The tubular elements of smaller diameter 3,4 and 5,6 and others assemble them by perpendioulaire fixing of. so as to produce a standard panel. These perpendicular elements are contiguous and are assembled by braage, welding or other, at points 7, 8 while their ends are constricted or stamped slightly above their connection point according to the profiles 9,10. The voids thus formed allow a more precise juxtaposition and can be filled with an insulating or other packing.

    @
These panels are positioned in fig 4,5,6 to form the hearths 11,12,13,14,14 'with hot gas pipe 15,16.

   The triangulation obtained by mounting from

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

 fixed points stabilizes the elements which by the juxtaposition of the panels Igp2O fig 3 form the passageways 21 of the hot gases.

   These assemblies are covered by an oarter 22 and a sheath or jacket 23.

   The advantages of these devices are manifold.

    @
High power steel boilers are general! lely monobloo, and therefore built individually or in small series, hence high prices, storage difficulties and finally the impossibility of modification in the event of insufficient power.

   The panels according to the invention allow, for each type or series of boiler, the production of pre-fabricated bundles over the andard length of drawing of the tubes.

  Storage after pressure tests is simplified.

   When assembling a boiler, the prefabricated bundle can be cut and adapted to the depth of the desired fireplace and the hood collectors at the ends to achieve the panel to the desired length, and in which the circulation of the heated fluid will always remain balanced. It is specified that the beams are divisible between each porpendic lar tube, so that a panel can be constituted by a single portion of prefabricated beam or by an element to which a fraotion of another element is added. This arrangement makes it possible to increase the power of a boiler in service by subsequently extending the hearth.

   The various standard panels are then juxtaposed and connected as described in figs 4 to 6 to obtain foci of the most varied and best geometric shapes.
