L'un des buts de l'invention est de former un oeillet qui ne détériore pas l'étoffe, sur laquelle il est fixé, et qui ne s'arrache pas de l'étoffe quand un effort lui est appliqué.
L'invention réalise donc, pour renforcer une pièce d'étoffe perméable à une résine synthétique, un procédé consistant
à mouler par injection une résine synthétique dans l'étoffe, de façon à former une bande pleine en résine, fixée solidement sur l'étoffe.
L'invention réalise aussi, pour former une bande de renforcement dans une pièce d'étoffe perméable à� une résine synthétique à l'état liquide, un procédé consistant à placer l'étoffe entre des moules correspondant à la forme de la bande de renforcement désirée, à injecter la résine à l'état liquide dans l'un des moules, de façon que la résine traverse l'étoffe et s'étende jusqu'à l'autre moule, et enfin à solidifier la résine de façon qu'elle forme une bande pleine fixée solidement sur l'étoffé.
L'invention a aussi pour objet une pièce d'étoffe comportant une bande de renforcement en résine synthétique qui a été fixée solidement sur l'étoffe par un procédé de moulage par injection.
On comprendra plus facilement l'invention en lisant la description suivante d'un mode de réalisation particulier, choisi uniquement à titre d'exemple. Au cours de cette description, on se référera au dessin annexé, sur lequel :
la fig.l représente en plan la formation d'un oeillet;
la fig.2 est une coupe suivant la ligne Il-Il de la fig.l.
On prend une pièce d'étoffe 12, par exemple une pièce de toile, qui est perméable à une résine synthétique et dans laquel+ le on veut former un oeillet; on place cette pièce d'étoffe entre deux moules 12, 14 de forme annulaire, respectivement supérieur et inférieur; ces deux moules, qui doivent coopérer, comportent res- pectivement des canaux de moulage 15, 16 à section sensiblement semi-circulaire.
On refoule à travers l'étoffe une résine synthétique fondue 18, par exemple du NYLON, que l'on injecte en 17, de manière à remplir avec cette résine les deux canaux de moulage; la résine se solidifie et forme une bague pleine à section circulaire, qui est fixée solidement sur l'étoffe. On peut alors découper et enle- ver la pièce centrale d'étoffe 19, pour laisser à sa place une ou-
t verture.
Puisque l'étoffe a tendance à prendre légèrement entre le moule supérieur et le moule inférieur, on peut donner au canal
du moule inférieur une profondeur légèrement plus grande que celle du canal du moule supérieur, de manière que l'étoffe se trouve disposée au centre de la résine synthétique, après l'opération de moulage,

The invention therefore provides, for reinforcing a piece of fabric permeable to a synthetic resin, a method comprising
injection molding a synthetic resin into the fabric, so as to form a solid resin band, firmly attached to the fabric.
The invention also achieves, to form a reinforcing strip in a piece of fabric permeable to � a synthetic resin in the liquid state, a method of placing the fabric between molds corresponding to the shape of the desired reinforcement strip, injecting the resin in the liquid state into one of the molds, so that the resin passes through the fabric and spreads to the other mold, and finally solidifies the resin so that it forms a solid band fixed securely to the fabric.
A further subject of the invention is a piece of fabric comprising a synthetic resin reinforcing strip which has been securely attached to the fabric by an injection molding process.
The invention will be understood more easily by reading the following description of a particular embodiment, chosen solely by way of example. In the course of this description, reference will be made to the appended drawing, in which:
Fig.l shows in plan the formation of an eyelet;
Fig.2 is a section along the line Il-Il of fig.l.
We take a piece of fabric 12, for example a piece of canvas, which is permeable to a synthetic resin and in which + the one wants to form an eyelet; this piece of fabric is placed between two molds 12, 14 of annular shape, respectively upper and lower; these two molds, which must cooperate, respectively comprise molding channels 15, 16 of substantially semi-circular section.
