<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
@

"Pressure and vacuum coffee maker"
The present invention relates in particular to a pressure and vacuum coffee maker characterized by means allowing both the pressure of the water on the ground coffee to be achieved by a vacuum in the lower part thus facilitating the flow of said coffee and its very fast realization.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the coffee maker is provided at its lower part with an orifice allowing the evacuation of the steam when the coffee is put to pass.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
According to another characteristic of the invention, the coffee maker comprises a device making it possible to recover the steam produced by the filtered coffee and to reintroduce it into the upper part of the coffee maker, thus creating an overpressure and a negative pressure inside. the said coffee maker, which facilitates the flow of coffee while guaranteeing an exceptional aroma.
According to another embodiment of the invention, a pressure and vacuum coffee maker characterized because the vacuum in the lower part of the coffee maker is obtained by the suction of air and then of the gas mixture, formed by the air and water vapor which forms from the start of the flow in this said part, the pressure of the water on the ground coffee being obtained naturally by the suction exerted inside the filter.
A device according to the invention is shown by way of non-limiting example in the accompanying figures in which: - Figure 1 shows in vertical section a coffee maker according to the invention; - Figure 2 shows an elevational view, .. cross section of a coffee maker provided with the vacuum and compression pump; - Figure 3 shows in elevation * section a two-part coffee maker comprising a vacuum and pressure device; - Figure 4 shows a sectional view of a coffee maker provided with a device according to the invention, in another embodiment; - Figure 5 shows a perspective view of a coffee maker according to the invention provided with a ring facilitating its handling.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
The present device shown in Figure 1 comprises a set of elements facilitating the ultra-fast production of coffee, it is constituted for this purpose of a coffee maker body 1 having towards the middle of its internal part a circular bulge 2 on which is deposited a bowl 3 with a perforated bottom, intended to receive the ground coffee.
A cover 7 can be fitted in a sealed manner to the upper part of this body 1. The central part of this opening 3 comprises a threaded rod 4 onto which is screwed an equally perforated disc 5 intended to keep the coffee under pressure. ground inside the bowl 3.
In the lower part of the body 1 of the coffee maker, provision is made to make an orifice 9 allowing, when the hot water is distributed over the ground coffee contained in the bowl 3, to evacuate the steam using a suction element 17, when the water, after passing through the ground coffee, falls into the lower part of the container. This suction element shown schematically in the drawings is for example constituted by a flexible bulb connected to a pipe which is also flexible. A pouring spout 10 provided with a stopper 11 allows the flow of the prepared coffee and a handle 12 facilitates the handling of the whole device.
In the embodiment of FIG. 2, an orifice 13 also made on the cover 7 is provided with a flexible conductor 14 connected to the orifice 9 of the body of the coffee maker. On the flexible conductor 14 is arranged a pump 15.
The upper part 6 of the body of the coffee maker 1 is threaded on the outside, which makes it possible, when the lid 7 also has an internal thread 8, to fix it hermetically on said coffee maker.
On this pump 15, when the cover 7 is hermetically closed on the body of the coffee maker, while
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
the boiling water is distributed in the bowl over the ground coffee, a continuous pressure movement is carried out which has the effect of recovering the steam released by the past coffee, being then in the lower part of the coffee maker, thus creating a depression .
Said steam is then sent, through the orifice 13 provided on the cover, into the upper part of the coffee maker, thus creating overpressure.
It is thus easy to understand that the coffee will pass more quickly and that it will retain its aroma since the steam released from the passed coffee is automatically reintroduced by the coffee maker.
It is possible in another embodiment as shown in Figure 3 to make independent the lower part of the coffee maker and the upper part.
In this embodiment, it is obviously recommended that the assembly of the two bodies of the coffee maker be hermetically sealed in order to prevent the passage of steam to the outside of the coffee maker.
It can also be placed on the lower body of the coffee maker, a tap 16.
As shown in Figure 4, the filter is flared at its upper part at 17.
This flare 17 cooperates with the upper flare 18 of the body of the coffee maker 1, which allows said filter to be maintained approximately halfway up in the body 1 of the coffee maker.
On the other hand, the lid of the coffee maker is omitted in this embodiment and the pressure of the water exerted on the ground coffee contained at 19 inside the filter is natural, since it is effected by the depression made at 20 in the lower part of the body 1 of the coffee maker.
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
@
This depression is obtained by one intermediary of an orifice 21 made on the neck 17 of the filter 3, to which the flexible conductor 14 connected to the pump is connected.
15.
In fact, during the operation when the air is sucked and then the gas mixture formed by the air and the water vapor contained in 20, that is to say in the lower part of the body of the coffee maker , the water located at the upper part 22 naturally exerts pressure on the coffee and passes through it with force.
On the other hand, the arrangement of the air suction orifice 21 on the filter 3 prevents the creation of a connection orifice on the body of the coffee maker.
On the other hand, the pouring pipe is also replaced by a deformation 23 produced on the periphery of the upper part 18 of the coffee maker, this arrangement facilitating the production of the body of the coffee maker without any attached piece, the coffee flowing out. easily after removing the filter fitted with the vacuum means.
As shown in Figure 5, the body of the coffee maker may be provided with a ring 24 supporting a handling handle 25.
The latter device has many advantages and in particular makes it possible to reduce the cost price of the coffee maker, the latter now not being provided with any additional element, such as a pouring pipe and an air intake.
Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiments described and shown above for which other embodiments and other embodiments can be provided without departing from the scope of the invention.
