"TABLE DE COORDINATION FOUR MACHINES-OUTIL ET SIMILAIRES".
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
Les pièces prinsipales qui forment l'ensemble des tables de coordination sont au nombre de trois: base, aveo un mécanisme de guide dans sa partie supérieure ;
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

présenté , pour permettre une meilleure compréhension de l'objet de la présente invention, suns écarter la possibi- lité de changer la forme 'ou la dimension des alimenta qui la constituent afin de les renforoer ou de rendre possible la mécanisation pour l'adaptation de tous les dispo- sitifs ou appareils qui s'emploient dans les tables de coordination et qui sont dune le domaine public tels que par exemple l'usinage des rainures, ailettes, trous pour brides ;
Dans les dessine ;
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>
<Desc/Clms Page number 7>
<Desc/Clms Page number 8>
<Desc/Clms Page number 9>

"MACHINE-TOOL AND SIMILAR OVEN COORDINATION TABLE".
This invention relates to a co-ordinating table, of the type which incorporates into machine tools, such as, for example, milling machines, punching machines, reproducing machines, particularly of the type which, when incorporated into current workshop machines, allows for save the high cost of a high-precision machine without: being at the expense of
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
of this precision.
These tables are sometimes part of machines or are used as an accessory on the circular divider table.
As we know, the coordination tables have already existed for many years and, during these years and the increasing demands of the industry, we have added or incorporated machines or devices of greater precision and safety such as perforating machines, vertical grinding machines, etc. The realization of these machines requires coordination tables with a working precision equal to that required for the machines.
In order to obtain this precision and this se. , safety in the coordination tables, their guides have been treated and rectified, an effective guide profile has been adapted, the locking of the system has been improved, the whole having a higher base and a height as reduced as possible. Almost all of its improvements have increased the cost, and none have substantially changed. the classic assembly of all the coordination tables which will always retain certain defects which are commented on below
There are three main parts that make up the coordination tables: base, with a guide mechanism in its upper part;
an intermediate part, with guide mechanism in the lower and upper part, oriented at 90 degrees; table with guide mechanism in the lower part. All this mounted forming a superimposed mobile assembly, of a certain height, which removes the solidity during assembly and, with wear in use, admits a sum of errors of parallelism and alignment due to the superposition guided.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
To improve this state of affairs, the guides are given more width, thus increasing the volume and the weight of the whole volume which reduces the useful working area, and weight which removes its sensitivity and produces. wear, .- which must be taken into account when it accumulates.
.To avoid all these irregularities, we imine the coordination table, object of the invention, by c ant a piece, called "cross", formed by two interior gui es which are oroisés one of them is placed in the guide of the mechanism inside the plate of the upper reit of the base, the size of the guide did not exceed the thickness of the latter. The other is placed in the lower part of the table room, under the same conditions, so that the upper plate of the base, by where it slides in all directions, can support the weight of the table; single plate which gives the alignment of parallelism to the whole assembly.
Under these conditions the spider only supports its own weight, adding nothing to the height of the assembly nor to the errors of parallelism, since these only affect the common plane of the base and the table, nor to Alignment errors, which are located at the lateral planes of the spider guides.
Consequently, the part "oroiàillon" allows a mounting of the system which solves the problem of the superimposed guides, cause of accumulation of errors, and of the superimposed mobile height, cause of the lack of solidity of the system, without increasing its weight or its sound. volume, reducing the August and attracting party, to the maximum of its useful working area and its greater sensitivity.
The example shown in the attached drawings is
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
presented, in order to allow a better understanding of the object of the present invention, we can rule out the possibility of changing the shape or the size of the food which constitutes it in order to strengthen them or to make possible the mechanization for the adaptation of all the devices or apparatus which are used in coordination tables and which are in the public domain, such as for example the machining of grooves, fins, holes for flanges;
supports or frames for the placement of drive micrometric life, corners, micrometric thicknesses, corapareura etc. provided no. not affect the essence of the object of the present invention.
In the draws;
Figure 1 is a top plan of the coordination table which is the subject of the invention with several sections which make it possible to partially make visible the interior organization of the base.
Figure 2 corresponds to a section through 11-II of figure 1.
Figure 3 is a section through III-III of Fig 1. according to 'what has just been exposed, the essence of the invention lies in this
The base 1 and the actual table 2 remain provided with movements in two perpendicular directions which coincide with their respective sides, both being elements of rectangular shape. By fixing the table 1 it is the table 2 which is provided with the two aforementioned movements with respect to the part of the assembly where the fixing of 1. will have been established. All this according to a conventional construction method for this type of device. .
Thus the sliding of 2 on 1 in the two perpendicular directions indicated does not carry out on the edge.
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
upper of the longitudinal dimensions 3 of the which have been suitably machined for this purpose, as well as, the has been the lower surface of 2.
The problem of sliding along a strictly determined plane is thus solved.
In order for the same movement to take place in two strictly determined directions, and preferably absolutely perpendicular, the cross piece that we have called the crosspiece above is put in place.This organ has, in a single piece, two arms directed in the two suitable directions and arranged at two different levels so that one of them can fit inside 1, and the other inside a large longitudinal groove cut in the face in less than 2.
This last arm includes elements that can be expanded transversely by the action of longitudinal screws in order to secure themselves in the housing where it is located and to bring sufficient tightening for perfect immobilization. Similar clamping means are provided for the guide part which fits in 1.
A set of plates which can slide the upper part of 1 over the other term, either by allowing the ooulisaage of the crosspiece and, with it, of the table 2.
With reference to the reference numbers of .figures 1, 2 and 3, these are, retorted it has been said, the base, the table and the edges of the first on which the second slides.
The transverse flanks 4 complete the sides of 1 and its edges undoubtedly remain in the same plane as those at 3.
From the inside of 1, and joined to a longitudinal side
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
the part 5 extends in the form of bearings, the inner longitudinal edge of which, o. at. d. opposite to that in oontaot with 3, constitutes one of the dimensions of the guide 14, determined in 1 on the bottom 6 of the part cited, by 5 and the prism 11, which can be extended transversely as is explained below.
In the guide 14 slides the part of the corresponding "cross" 15. This (see figure 3) has a cross section in a rectangular trapezoid; the inclined face is that which makes contact with 11, and the latter prism has a conjugate inclination. A part 7, firmly incorporated inside 1, on the opposite side of the base with respect to 5, has a longitudinal groove 8 (figure 3) on the surface facing 11, and the latter prism also has a similar groove to complete the seat of the bolt 9.
This bolt is threaded in opposite directions at its two ends (Figures 1 and 2) and one of these ends further includes a small T-shaped lever for manipulation. 10, which comes out of 1 through correspondent 4.
The nuts 12 and 13 on those which actuate the threaded ends indicated above are solid cylindrical parts with their threaded holes arranged transversely, so as to exert their support between 7 and 11 .. by their lateral surfaces. aims to produce by turning 10 in a suitable direction, a trio separa out of 11, by pressing this prism against the corresponding area of 15.
To do this, the ends of 7 and 11 are bevelled to form at each corner with ridges in the partition 7-11
Thus, by turning 1 which tends to bring 12 and 13 closer together, a wedging action will indirectly occur which will firmly tighten 11 against 15 '
<Desc / Clms Page number 7>
The assembly of guide and immobilizer for the other arm of the spider is of similar construction, and if in this second case the guide 22 is invariably hollowed out longitudinally by the underside of the table 2 (Fig. 3) the core part 3pondante of the spider (Figures 2 and 3) is constituted by the parts 16 and 15 integral with one another, and by the prismatic part 21.
The means involved for 1,) to reduce the tightening of 21 against 22 are similar to those already described for the guide in 1. Thus the groove 17 in 16, and the bolt 18 with the opposite threads at both ends, act on the nuts. in the form of kegs 19 and 20.
It is advisable to indicate how the introduction of each part of the spider is carried out in these corresponding guides.
In order to introduce part 15 into the guides of 1, one of the sides 4 is removed, which for this purpose is fixed by screws or other similar means; or for example the side 4 corresponds to the key 10, which is why the said side present in the passage hole 10 of the corresponding slots for the passage of the handling arms of such a key.
To introduce the assembly 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 into 22, any of the hairpieces 23,24, which close the ends of the guide 22, are removed. These same parts 23, 24 protrude through the upper level of 2 constituting edges .
The transversely movable parts 11 and 21 under the action of the corresponding clamping have such a short path that it can be said that only the clamping pressure varies and not the position of these parts by acting on the appropriate controls (the key 10 for 11 , and the small / / united arms of 18 for 21).
<Desc / Clms Page number 8>
This is important because without it, due to the maximum release arrangements, the play between the cross arm and the guides would be detrimental to the proper functioning of the table. the inclinations' of the bearing surfaces in the prismatic parts 11 and 21 which allow them to act only as more or less tight supports, contribute to obtaining the satisfactory result.
Thus, the angle that must be rotated at each command for tightening and releasing is small, and therefore the manipulation arms of 18 can remain perfectly housed by 22 projecting through the inner part of this housing by the one and the other side of 1.
The base 1 remains closed in its upper part by all of the plates 25, 26 and 27. The first of them, that is to say the lower one, is adjusted to the internal contour determined by 3 and 4. It itself would be sufficient for close 1 if it did not have the groove 28 which it must present for the sliding of the spider. It is precisely for the closing of this groove that we have the other plates 26 and 27, sliding between them and with respect to the 25. Both remain guided and limited in their sliding by the interior contour 3-4 itself. .
One of them, the 26, can slide between certain limits (imposed by the length of its corresponding central longitudinal groove) with respect to the cross member, while the 27, even smaller in length, remains attached to the same cross member. once the mutual assembly has been completed.
Each of the parts 25, 26 and 27 has, in addition to the groove for the passage of the union neck between the arms 15 and 16 of the spider, another transverse groove which opens, through the center, towards one side, the grooves
<Desc / Clms Page number 9>
longitudinal above. Thus the emptiness of matter in each! plate 25,26,27 has the shape of a T with the central bar reaching up to one side. And this in order to remove possible the assembly of each of them with respect to the crosspiece.One of these transverse openings is indicated 29 in figure 1.
The plates will be placed successively so that the transverse openings remain oriented towards opposite sides. Thus and with the relative sliding movements, all dust passages remain completely and at all times closed: -. dirt or foreign matter inside 1.
