Cette tente est attachée au Dorte-bagage de toiture d'auto et se compose de deux cadres formant charpente, soutenue par deux mâts-sup- ports. Toutefois pour la stabiliser et la rendre plus résistarte contre les vents on la fixe au sol par un seul cable B réglable des deux côtés et at- taché en son milieu à un piquet de tente P, qu'on enfonce dans le sol entre les deux mâts-supports et dans le même plan vertical. Deux mâts-supports supplémentaires sont prévus pour renforcer le faîte et retenir la toile des deux paroi& vers l'avant et l'arrière de l'auto.
Cette tente comprend :
1) un porte-bagage G de toiture d'auto V dont les longerons L L' sont droits et ne dépassent pas le plan vertical de la corniche du toit de l'auto tout en s'y approchant le plus possible.
2) deux cadres rectangulaires, égaux et rigides C C' qui peu- vent être renforcés par des entre-toises et qui peuvent être faits en tu- bes ou profilés d'acier ou alliages d'aluminium, se placant: a) repliés, juste sur les longerons supérieurs L L' du porte- bagage et le dépassant vers l'arrière de l'auto; b) ouverts sous un certain angle Y à côté de l'auto pour former la charpente d'un toit - tel la couverture d'un livre partiellement ouvert, le dos au-dessus - ; cette charpente est soutenue d'un côté par le longeron supérieur L du porte-bagage sur leqoel elle tourne, de l'autre par deux mâts. supports M M' qui se placent obliquement vers l'extérieur dans le plan verti- cal formé parle longeron soutenu H et ces mâts-supports.
Ceux-ci se rabat- tent et se logent en-dessous dulongeron soutenu H, une fois la tente repliée (feuille n 3 voir M'). La toile imperméable T est fixée sur la charpente et découpée de façon à couvrir toutes les vibres de l'auto et qu'elle se tende sur le toit et les parois. Le taxis de sol s'accroche en-dessous de l'auto ou aux garde-boues.
3) un petit arceau mobile A de la longueur du porte-bagage, qui se place automatiquement et soutient la toile,sa partie supérieure venant dans le plan formé par le faîte du toit et le longeron supérieur du porte-bpga- ge L'opposé à celui sur lequel tournent les cadres.
4) deux mâts-supports supplémentaires S S' extensibles qui, atta- ché chacun à un longeron F F' formant faîte, de part et d'autre des cadres, se placent au milieu des parois (avant et arrière) pour consolider le faîte et retenir la toile contre les coups de ventso Ces deux mâts-supports se re- plient à l'intérieur des cadres C C' à côte des longerons formant faîte et y sont maintenus par deux brides D D'en cuir. Ces deux mâts-supports ne s' emploient pas par temps calume, Feuille 3 on voit S' replié. La partie de la tente vers l'arrière de 1 auto, s'ouvre pour laisser passage ; ony entre de- bout.
5) un sac en toile imperméable Z qui renferme, protège et retient l'ensemble replié sur le porte-bagage. Il est fermé vers l'avant et s'ouvre sur les trois autres côtés par une fermeture à glissière. La partie inférieu- re Z' est maintenue sur le porte-bagage, car une partie de la fermeture à glissière doit se trouver vers l'extérieur du porte-bagage ; tente étant ouverte>la partie supérieure de ce sac se place vers l'avant de l'auto sur le capot.
6) remarque : la toile du toit, sur les deux cadres, peut être remplacée avantageusement par une matière rigide et légère - alliages d'alu, plastiques, fibres de verre ou autres -; dans ce cas le petit arceau A dispa- raît, la partie inférieure du sac Z' est remplacée partiellement - sur l'é-

tendue du porte-bagage - par la même matière rigide et la toile imperméa- ble qui couvre les vitres de l'auto est serrée entre cette matière rigide et les tubes du porte-bagage; la toile des parois est fixée de la même façon.
Pour le repli,les parois (en toile) se placent entre les deux cadres. Cette tente peut s'adapter sur n'importe quelle auto, est en grandeur proportion- nelle à la grandeur du porte-bagage, se dresse très rapidement, est légère, on peut y entrer debout et s'y tenir debout.
REVENDICATIONS.
1) dispositif de deux cadres rectangulaires, égaux et rigides de la largeur du porte-bagage de toiture d'auto sur lequel ils se trouvent, mais sensiblement plus long que celui-ci, cadres formant charpente se pla- çant en partie juste sur les longerons supérieurs du porte-bagage quand ils sont repliés et s'ouvrant sous un angle indéformable, pour formerun toit à côté de l'auto - tel la couverture d'un livre partiellement ouvert, le dos au-dessus ; toit est soutenu d'une part par le porte-bagage de toi- ture d'auto sur le longeron duquel tourne l'ensemble et d'autre part, par deux mâts-supports qui se posent obliquement dans le plan vertical du lon- geron qu'ils soutiennent; ces deux supports se replient en-dessous de ce lon- geron (tente repliée).

This tent is attached to the car roof rack and consists of two frames forming a frame, supported by two support poles. These fold up and lodge underneath the supported extension H, once the tent has been folded up (sheet no. 3 see M '). The waterproof canvas T is fixed to the frame and cut so as to cover all the vibrations of the car and that it stretches over the roof and the walls. The ground taxis is hooked under the car or on the mudguards.
3) a small mobile hoop A the length of the luggage rack, which is placed automatically and supports the canvas, its upper part coming into the plane formed by the ridge of the roof and the upper spar of the bpga- ge carrier The opposite to the one on which the frames rotate.
4) two additional SS 'extendable support poles which, each attached to an FF' spar forming a ridge, on either side of the frames, are placed in the middle of the walls (front and rear) to consolidate the ridge and retain the canvas against gusts of wind These two support masts fold inside the frames CC 'alongside the side members forming the ridge and are held there by two leather straps D. These two support masts are not used in calume weather, Sheet 3 we see S 'folded. The part of the tent towards the rear of 1 car opens to allow passage; ony comes in.
5) a Z waterproof canvas bag which encloses, protects and retains the assembly folded over the luggage rack. It is closed at the front and opens on the other three sides with a zipper. The lower part Z 'is held on the luggage rack, since part of the zipper must be on the outside of the luggage rack; tent being open> the upper part of this bag is placed towards the front of the car on the hood.
6) note: the roof fabric, on both frames, can advantageously be replaced by a rigid and light material - aluminum alloys, plastics, glass fibers or others -; in this case the small hoop A disappears, the lower part of the bag Z 'is partially replaced - on the side-

tensioned by the luggage rack - by the same rigid material and the waterproof fabric which covers the windows of the car is clamped between this rigid material and the tubes of the luggage rack; the fabric of the walls is fixed in the same way.
