Les figures 1 à 6 repésentent, à titre d'exemples non limitatifs de l'invention : les figures 1 et 2, une solution avec raccord annulaire position entrée à gauche et position entrée à droite, l'orifice de sortie de l'élé- ment intérieur au compteur étant circulaire; les figures 3 et 4, un exemple de réalisation dans lequel l'élé- ment extérieur au compteur comporte, outre les entrées et les sorties, une partie centrale en sandwich, la figure 3 avec entrée à gauche , la figure 4 avec entrée à droite;

The present invention relates to various single and central connection devices for a gas meter allowing a supply of the latter by a riser placed on the left and on the right.
This connection is characterized: - by an element external to the meter, a single element comprising an inlet port and an outlet port going to the meter and ports making it possible to connect the gas supply inlet and outlet piping. , the inlet port on the meter being central and the outlet port being offset to the side.
- and by an element fixed to the meter and comprising a central inlet and an eccentric outlet
FIGS. 1 to 6 represent, by way of nonlimiting examples of the invention: FIGS. 1 and 2, a solution with an annular connection in the entry position on the left and the entry position on the right, the outlet orifice of the element. ment inside the meter being circular; FIGS. 3 and 4, an exemplary embodiment in which the element outside the meter comprises, in addition to the inlets and outlets, a central sandwich part, FIG. 3 with inlet on the left, Figure 4 with inlet on the right ;
FIGS. 5 and 6 represent an embodiment with inlet respectively on the left and on the right, the element outside the meter being annular as well as the interior element, the inlet opening to the meter being central and the outlet opening being annular and connected to an eccentric outlet tube internal to the meter.
In FIGS. 1 and 2, we see respectively the casing 1 of the sensor, the external connection element 2 having in FIG. 1 its input on the left and its output on the right E and S, input and output being reversed on FIG. 2. This external connection element to the counter has, perpendicular to the line ES, an annular device with central inlet tube 3 and annular outlet tube 4.
The element 5 fixed to the meter is integral with the element external to the meter by means of a connector 6; it comprises a central tubing, the orifice 7 of which acts as an inlet to the meter and an eccentric tubing of which the orifice 8 acts as an outlet of the meter o Between the external elements and the element fixed to the meter is a gasket 9 which is full and has the inlet openings 7 'corresponding to 7 central and 8' corresponding to 8 eccentric
It can be seen, by comparison of Figures 1 and 2, that when the element 2 outside the meter is reversed by rotation of 180, the seal 9 remains in its original position, the input and the output of the meter still being at 7 and 80
In FIGS. 3 and 4, we see the envelope of the counter 10, the element outside the counter 12 with their input and their output I S,
the inlet being on the left in figure 3 and on the right in figure 4. This external element comprises .. living the axis ES the inlet and outlet pipes and pendularly to this axis ES coming from the foundry three juxtaposed perpendicular cavities in a sandwich, a central cavity 17 serving as the entrance and two lateral cavities 18 and 18 '.
On the meter is fixed an element 15 fixed itself by a connector 16 on the external element 12, the two elements of the connector are fixed

with interposition of the seal 19 which may be unique with two orifices 17 and 18 'by joining this seal as shown. This seal 19 comprises a solid element 191, a lateral element 192 and a central element 193, these three seal elements being independent and being able to be separated by projecting edges.
It can be seen from Figures 3 and 4 reversed by rotation of 180, that an entry can be made from the left or from the right of the external element, the entry to the meter being central and the exit momentum '!' offset eccentric. During rotation, the seal 19 remains immutable.
The seal 19, as shown in FIG. 3, being broken down into three elements, has the advantage, on known devices, of not allowing any leakage on the junction plane between the input and the output of the meter.
Figures 5 and 6 show a variant of Figures 1 and 2 with entry, either on the left (fig 5) or on the right (figo 6), the element outside the meter being identical to the annular part and the element integral with the meter 25 being fixed by the connector 26 to the independent element also having on their junction plane a central inlet and an annular outlet, these two parts: outer element and element fixed to the meter being produced as the connection provided in fig. . 2 in U.S. Patent No. 6540615 of 1900 or in British Patent No. 119,445 of 191, but adapted to be combined with the outlet tube 30 provided in Applicant's Patent No. 100490396 of 6/28/1951, tube intended to direct towards the gas outlet from the distribution box.
Thus, this connection element integral with the meter comprises its central inlet 27, its annular outlet 28, a seal 29 being placed between the two elements of the connector, the lower element being extended by a junction element 31 of the tubing 300
It does not depart from the scope of the invention if a single, centered connection for a gas meter is produced using equivalent means and comprising an element external to the meter which can pivot by 180 to allow connection by the right or by the left and comprising a central tube and an annular or sandwich tube, the central tube being integral with the central inlet tube of the meter, the annular or outer sandwich tube being connected to the offset outlet of the meter,
the gasket connecting these two elements can be in one or more parts, the elements both external and integral with the meter can have any shapes, circular or elliptical, made of any material, metallic or not, foundry in sand or under pressure , the lower element of the connector being fixed to the wall of the meter in any way by welding, riveting, etc., the two elements being made integral by nuts, screws, connectors, etc.
