L'invention est relative à un perfectionnement apporté aux appareils à écrire tels que porte-plume, stylographes, 'appareils à bille et porte-mines, et elle s'applique plus spécialement, mais non exclusivement, aux appareils à écrire réservés aux enfants qui apprennent à écrire.
Jusqu'à l'âge de quatorze ans, on demande aux enfants de bien écrire, c'est-à-dire d'écrire lisiblement et proprement ; mais, jusqu'à, présent, les résultats-obtenus sont généralement décevants. Cet état .de choses provient surtout des porte-plumes en usage dont la forme n'est pas étudiée pour permettre aux' enfants de les tenir dans la position convenable.
Dès qu'un enfant a le désir d'écrire, il se sert d'un crayon et il est évident que, même s'il le tient mal, la mine tracera toujours un trait sur le papier ; lorsque l'enfant se sert d'un porte-plume, il a tendance à le tenir comme il tenait précédemment le crayon et, par conséquent,

les lettres sont mal formées, les pleins et les déliés ne sont pas à leur place, la plane grince, elle accroche le papier et les taches sont nombreuses.
En examinant la position naturelle d'une main qui se ferme pour saisir un objet, on constate que les doigts sont ployés et que le pouce vient sT opposer à l'index et au majeur de façon à former une circonférence presque parfaite dans laquelle la place du porte-plume est toute trouvée; le pouce et le majeur pincent le porte-plume, l'index s'applique contre le majeur et se pose sans appuyer sur le porteplume.
Malheureusement, les appareils à écrire, porte-pirate, stylographes, etc..., en usage jusqu'à ce jour, sont tous cylindriques à l'endroit où. les doigts les saisissent et, par suite, ils meurtrissent les chairs; de ce fait, l'enfant a tendance à éviter cette position naturelle de la main et à adopter une position incorrecte qui lui permettra la préhension du porte-plume sans que celui-ci lui blesse les doigts et, par suite, il acquerra une mauvaise habitude qui l'empêchera d'écrire lisiblement et proprement.
L'invention a pout but, surtout, de pallier à ces inconvénients, et elle consiste, principalement, en un appareil à écrire dont la forme s'adapte aux doigts qui le saisissent,, leur imposant ainsi une position définie sur l'appareil.
Les dessins cl-annexés représentent, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution d'un appareil à écrire établi selon Il invention.

Selon l'invention, un appareil à écrire est composé, de préférence, de deux pièces A et B en toute matière convenable telle que bois, matière plastique ou autre. La pièce cylindrique A est évidée à l'une de ses extrémités 1 pour permettre de placer le cylindre destiné à recevoir et à fixer la plume; son autre extrémité, d'un diamètre légérement plus petit, est filetée pour pouvoir se visser sur la pièce B.
La pièce A est munie de trois évidements 2, 3 et 4 épousant respectivement la forme et remplacement naturel de l'index, du pouce et du majeur.. La pièce B, pouvant être de toute forme, cylindrique, polygonale, etc..., est munie à l'une de ses extrémités d'un filetage femelle s'adaptant au filetage de la pièce Aj son autre extrémité peut se terminer par exemple en forme d'ogive et peut être creuse de façon à , constituer éventuellement une réserve de plumes. Cette pièce peut également se terminer par un filetage intérieur permettant le vissage d'une cartouche d'appareil à bille, ou bien porter un mécanisme de porte-mines du genre pousse-mines.
Enfin, l'appareil peut être pourvu d'un capuchon en métal, aluminite, matière plastique 'ou.autre, muni ou non d'un clip, destiné à protéger la plume et permettant de mettre l'appareil dans la poche.
Bien entendu, et sans sortir du cadre de l'invention, on peut réaliser sur ce même principe des porte-plume en une seule pièce ainsi que des appareils à bille, stylographes ou porte-mines..
L'emploi de l'appareil s'effectue de la façon suivante ; l'utilisateur pince l'appareil entre le pouce et le majeur en le tournant de façon à ce que ces doigts soient respecti-

vement dans les évidements 3 et 4 et son index se pose, sans appuyer,dans l'empreinte 2. en s'appliquant contre le majeur; les évidements 2, 3 et 4 étant de forme et de dimensions calculées pour recevoir respectivement l'index, le pouce et le majeur de l'utilisateur, et l'empreinte de ces doigts sur un appareil à écrire n'étant pas la même, l'utilisateur ne peut placer ses doigts que chacun dans leur évidement propre et ainsi une position définie leur est imposée;
la plume ayant été enfoncée convenablement auparavant et l'appareil ne pouvant tourner entre les doigts, l'utilisateur écrit lisiblement et proprement, les pleins et les déliés sont à leur place, et l'appareil à écrire étant adapté à la forme des doigts, ceuxci ne sont,pas meurtris,
On peut également utiliser un dispositif en caoutchouc, matière plastique ou autre matière convenable, pouvant s'adapter sur un appareil à écrire déja existant et imposant aux doigts qui le saisissent une position définie sur l'appareil à écrire.
Un tel dispositif se compose d'un cylindre creux de longueur convenable, ouvert à ses deux extrémités et dont le diamètre intérieur est sensiblement égal au diamètre extérieur de l'appareil à écrire sur lequel on veut l'adapter., ce cylindre creux étant muni extérieurement de trois évidements identiques à ceux de la pièce A représentée sur les dessins annexés et épousant respectivement la forme de l'index du pouce et du majeur, la position de l'index étant perpendiculaire à celle du majeur, tandis que celle du pouce est disposée obliquement. Bien entendu, la paroi intérieure du dispositif peut avoir une forme circulaire, polygonale, triangulaire, etc..., correspondant à la forme du porte-plume, stylographe, appareil à bille, porte-mine ou crayon que lton veut munir de ce dispositif.
Pour adapter ce dispositif sur un appareil à écrire, il

suffit d'enfoncer par force ce dernier dans la dispositif de façon à ce que celui-ci se trouve à l'extrémité inférieure de l'appareil à écrire; on place ensuite convenablement la plume s'il ,s'agit d'un porte-plume ou, s'il s'agit d'un appareil à écrire dans lequel on ne peut déplacer la plume, par exemple un stylographe, on fait tourner l'appareil jusqu'à ce que les évidements se trouvent dans la position convenable.
Il est à noter que le dispositif doit avoir un diamètre intérieur étu- dié pour lui permettre de rester dans la position convenable, sans pour cela l'empêcher de coulisser sur l'appareil à écrire Il est également à remarquer que ce dispositif peut se monter sur un crayon ordinaire, puisque l'on peut le déplacer en le faisant coulisser chaque fois que l'on taille le crayon.
Il va de soi que. l'on peut apporter des modifications aux modes de réalisation décrits dans le domaine des équiva- lences techniques.

The invention relates to an improvement in writing devices such as pen holders, pens, ball-point devices and mechanical pencils, and it applies more especially, but not exclusively, to writing devices reserved for children who learn to write.
Until the age of fourteen, children are asked to write well, that is to say to write clearly and cleanly; but, so far, the results obtained have been generally disappointing. This state of affairs arises mainly from the pen holders in use, the shape of which has not been studied to enable children to hold them in the proper position.
As soon as a child has the desire to write, he uses a pencil and it is obvious that, even if he holds it badly, the lead will always draw a line on the paper; when the child uses a pen holder, he tends to hold it as he previously held the pencil and, therefore,

the letters are badly formed, the full ones and the thin ones are not in their place, the plane creaks, it catches the paper and the spots are numerous.
By examining the natural position of a hand which closes to grasp an object, we see that the fingers are bent and that the thumb comes to oppose the index and middle fingers so as to form an almost perfect circumference in which the of the pen holder is all found; the thumb and middle finger pinch the pen holder, the index finger is pressed against the middle finger and is posed without pressing on the pen holder.
Unfortunately, the typewriters, pirate holders, pens, etc., in use up to this day, are all cylindrical where they are. the fingers seize them and, consequently, they bruise the flesh; therefore, the child tends to avoid this natural position of the hand and to adopt an incorrect position which will allow him to grasp the pen holder without it injuring his fingers and, as a result, he will acquire a bad habit which will prevent him from writing clearly and neatly.
The aim of the invention is above all to overcome these drawbacks, and it consists, mainly, of a writing apparatus whose shape adapts to the fingers which grip it, thus imposing on them a defined position on the apparatus.
The accompanying drawings show, by way of example, an embodiment of a writing apparatus established according to the invention.

According to the invention, a writing device is preferably composed of two parts A and B in any suitable material such as wood, plastic or the like. The cylindrical part A is hollowed out at one of its ends 1 to enable the cylinder intended to receive and fix the nib to be placed; its other end, with a slightly smaller diameter, is threaded so that it can be screwed onto part B.
Part A is provided with three recesses 2, 3 and 4 respectively matching the shape and natural replacement of the index finger, thumb and middle finger ..
