Cette invention concerne les phonographes reproduisant le son à partir d'un enregistrement fait sur un disque circulaire comportant une ouverture centrale de guidage et un sillon sonore en spirale.
Ces phonographes sont généralement actionnés par force motrice, ils sont compliqués et de fabrication relativement coûteu- se. Un but de la présente invention est de procurer un phonographe portatif et pouvant être actionné entièrement à la main, particu- lièrement utilisable pour la publicité, la transmission des messa- ges personnels, comme jouet pour enfants etc...
Un autre but de l'invention est de procurer un phonographe de ce genre .qui soit de fabrication peu coûteuse et puisse être

replié pour prendre très peu de place.
Suivant un aspect de l'inversion, le phonographe com- prend une base, un dispositif sur cette base pour recevoir le disque de telle manière qu'on puisse le faire tourner à la main sur la base, et un élément recouvrant la base qui comprend une première section a-rticulé à la base et une seconde section articulée en un point intermédiaire de sa longueur à la première section et portant une aiguille à une extrémité, cet élément de recouvrement étant susceptible d'occuper une première.position dans laquelle la première et la seconde sections s'étendent à plat sur la base et sur le disq ue, tout contre eux, et une seconde position dans laquelle la première section fait un angle aigu avec la base et la seconde section occupe une position telle que l'aiguille s'engage dans le sillon sonore du disque de manière à constituer une plaque vibrante.

Pour bien faire comprendre l'invention, on en donnera ci-après une description détallée avec référence au dessin annexé dans lequel:
Fig. 1 montre en perspective un phonographe conforme à l'invention, en position de fonctionnement;
Fig. 2 montre le phonographe de la Fig. 1 replié, et
Fig. 3 est une élévation de côté du phonographe de la fig. 1.
Comme le montre le dessin, le phonographe comprend une base 1, en carton, de forme rectangulaire, pourvue d'une broche 2 fixée a- pproxime tivement en son centre et faisant saillie vers le haut sur sa face supérieure 3. La broche 2 a un diamètre lui permettant de s'engager dans une ouverture centrale 4 d'un disque de phonographe 5 qui présente une ouverture excentrique 6 destinée à recevoir un organe (non représenté) tenu par l'auditeur pour faire tourner le disque à la main, par exemple une tige pointue ou. un crayon, et pour faciliter la rotation du disque et empêcher la détérioration de la surface supérieure 3 de la base 1, une garni- ture 3a est intercalée entre le disque et la base.
Comme c'est représenté sur la Fig. 3, la garniture peut être collée à la base et peut par exemple être cons- tituée d'une feuille de matière plastique.
La base 1 est pourvue d'un élément de recouvrement ou couverture 7 qui comprend une première section 8 et une seconde section 9. La première section 8 est a-rticulée en 10 à l'extrémité 11 de la base 1 et est collée à la face arrière de la section 9 sur toute la moitié supérieure de celle-ci pour la renforcer. La section 8 forme charnière en 12 pour permettre à la section 9 de pivoter par rapport à la section 8. Comme c'est représenté sur 10 dessin, la base 1 et la section 8 sont d'une seule pièce.

A son extrémité inférieure,la section 9 est renforcée par une feuille de carton rectangulaire 13 collée sur sa face postérieure et une aiguille de phonographe-14 est serrée entre la section 9 et la feuille 13, au.milieu de leur bord inférieur et, comme c'est représenté sur la fig. 1, elle fait un' certain angle a-vec ces surfaces. Ainsi.que le montre particulièrement la fig.3, la, section 8 est renforcée entre les charnières 10 et 12 par une feuille de carton rectangulaire 15 qui y est collée.
A l'extrémité de la base 1 opposée à celle où se trouve la section 8, un livret 16 est collé à la base 1 par sa face postérieure 17.
Comme on le voit sur la fige 2 du dessin,le dispositif replié prend très peu de place, les sections 8 et 9 se recouvrant l'une 1'-autre et s'étendant à plat sur la base '1 et le disque 5, tout contre eux. Pour se servir du phonographe, on écarte l'élément de recouvrement 7 de la base 1 en le faisant pivots de façon que la section 8 s'incline sous un angle a-igu sur celle-ci et que la section 9 soit debout sur le disque, a-vec l'aiguille 14 engagée dans le sillon sonore du disque 5. En introduisant un organe tel qu'un crayon dans l'ouverture 6 et en faisant tourner le disque 5 dans le sens de la flèche 18, on fait vibrer l'aiguille 14 et la section 9 constitue une plaque vibrante qui rend audibles les sons enregistrés sur le disque 5.
En pratique, l'auditeur peut facilement faire tourner le disque 5 à une vitesse appropriée.
Le dispositif ci-dessus décrit peut être utilisé comme jouet d'enfants. A cet effet, sur le disque 5 peuvent être enregistrées des chansons d'enfants et dansle livret 16, peuvent être imprimées les mêmes chansons, dans le même ordreainsi qr.-? des images à peindre par les enfants et illustrant les chansons.
La couverture 19 du livret 16 et la face antérieure 20 de la section 9 peuvent être ornées d'ima-ges pour enfants et peuvent par

exemple représenter des dessins se rapportant auxchansons. La face supérieure 3 de la base 1 peut porter des inscriptions imprimées donnant le mode d'emploi du phonographe.
REVENDICATIONS
1. Phonographe comprenant une base, un dispositif sur cette base pour recevoir le disque portant l'enregistrement de manière qu'on puisse le faire tourner à la main sur la base et un élément recouvrant la base, qui comprend une première section articulée à la base et une seconde section articulée en un point intermédiaire de sa longueur à la première section et portant une aiguille à une extrémité, lélé-ment de recouvrement éta nt susceptible d'occuper une première position dans lesquelles les première et seconde sections s'étendent à pla.- t sur la base et le disque, tout contre eux, et une seconde position dans laquelle la première section forme un angle aigu avec la base,

As shown in the drawing, the phonograph comprises a base 1, made of cardboard, rectangular in shape, provided with a pin 2 fixed approximately at its center and projecting upwards on its upper face 3. Pin 2 has a diameter allowing it to engage in a central opening 4 of a phonograph disc 5 which has an eccentric opening 6 intended to receive an organ (not shown) held by the listener to turn the disc by hand, for example example a pointed rod or. a pencil, and to facilitate the rotation of the disc and prevent deterioration of the upper surface 3 of the base 1, a liner 3a is interposed between the disc and the base.
As shown in Fig. 3, the trim may be glued to the base and may for example consist of a plastic sheet.
The base 1 is provided with a covering element or cover 7 which comprises a first section 8 and a second section 9. The first section 8 is articulated in 10 at the end 11 of the base 1 and is glued to the back side of section 9 over the entire top half of it to strengthen it. Section 8 hinges at 12 to allow section 9 to pivot relative to section 8. As shown in the drawing, base 1 and section 8 are integral.

At its lower end, section 9 is reinforced by a rectangular cardboard sheet 13 glued to its posterior face and a phonograph needle-14 is clamped between section 9 and sheet 13, at the middle of their lower edge and, as it is represented in fig. 1, it makes a certain angle with these surfaces. As shown in particular in fig.3, the section 8 is reinforced between the hinges 10 and 12 by a rectangular sheet of cardboard 15 which is glued thereto.
At the end of the base 1 opposite to that where the section 8 is located, a booklet 16 is glued to the base 1 by its rear face 17.
As seen in Fig. 2 of the drawing, the folded-up device takes up very little space, sections 8 and 9 overlapping each other and lying flat on base 1 and disc 5, all against them. To use the phonograph, the cover element 7 is moved away from the base 1 by pivoting it so that section 8 tilts at an acute angle thereon and section 9 is upright on it. disc, with the needle 14 engaged in the sound groove of the disc 5. By inserting an organ such as a pencil into the opening 6 and by rotating the disc 5 in the direction of arrow 18, it vibrates needle 14 and section 9 constitutes a vibrating plate which makes audible the sounds recorded on disc 5.
In practice, the listener can easily spin disc 5 at a suitable speed.
The device described above can be used as a children's toy. For this purpose, on the disc 5 can be recorded children's songs and in the booklet 16, can be printed the same songs, in the same order thus qr.-? pictures to be painted by children and illustrating the songs.
The cover 19 of booklet 16 and the front 20 of section 9 may be decorated with children's pictures and may by

example represent drawings relating to songs. The upper face 3 of the base 1 may bear printed inscriptions giving the instructions for use of the phonograph.
