7u4 réalisation de l' wlhJ1iora tion 1>1'0110r....:0 est décrite ci- après en se r3i"rent aux dossins ann.OX8B, dun s lesquels ;
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>

rotor support pylon, terminates at its upper point in a "spider", each of its arms being articulated at the end of the horn. Pitch variations of the corresponding blade.
The rotor, entered in the pylon, has a rotational movement around it and can oscillate freely with respect to the plane perpendicular to the pylon.
The pallets can also take inclinations independent of movement around articulations placed in their anchoring part.
Has practice shown the need to create a phase shift? in-. be each flap joint and 1 the plane of the corresponding blade arm, as well as an offset # between the plane of oscillation of the end of the blade pitch variation horn and said flap joint, parallel to the plane of oscillation,
According to the arrangement previously indicated, the spider arm and the horn being directly articulated, the phase shift and the offset are practically integral, which is not suitable. The offset is used to catch up with the tendency of the blades to bat- bernent during the permanent translational flight and to decrease the load factor in the blades; so it is necessary to him. give some value.
On the other hand, theoretical calculations and experience show that, for reasons of stability, maneuverability. and effort in the controls, it is advantageous to have a phase shift of a few degrees. It is, therefore, difficult to obtain the offset. and appropriate phase shift when they are not independent.
By the present invention, in the mechanism of the controls of the rotor and its blades, there is the possibility of freely and independently choosing the appropriate offset and phase shift by means of an intermediate device between the end of the arm.

7u4 realization of the wlhJ1iora tion 1> 1'0110r ....: 0 is described below with reference to the folders ann.OX8B, whereby;
Figure 1 shows, in horizontal projection, a diagram of the entire device.
FIG. 2 represents, in vertical projection and partly along section XX of FIG. 1, the diagram of the device.
The figures are not drawn to scale, and their elements do not have normal proportions to better show certain details.
Let A, figure 2, be the pylon integral with the aerodyne fuselage. The rotor is located at the upper end of the pylon.
The rotor receives torque from the motor by devices which do not form part of the present invention and, therefore, are not shown in the figures.
The rotor in this example is triple. Each foot. blade is articulated to one of the three projections 1 of the disc G or blade anchoring part, the horizontal axis articulations 2 allow the blades to take a flapping angle,% greater or less.
The disc G is centered in the pylon A. The ball B, fig. very 2, diagrammatically represents the connection between the disc and the outer ring of the bearing; the disk G at the same time that it receives the motive propulsion, can oscillate around its axis of rotation.
Near the flapping joint 2, the blade root C is linked to a horn 3 carrying out the variations in pitch of the blade by means of the arm H.
The pilot performs the control by means of the rod 4 articulated at 5 in a small piston 6 sliding in the interior of the pylon. In this way the command can act by
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
longitudinal sections 7, by oscillations 8 or by both means simultaneously.
The upper outer end of the control 4 is integral with a spider B, a part formed by as many arms as the aircraft has blades. There are three in the present example, although, for simplicity of the figures, only one arm is shown.
On each of the three projections 1 of the disc G, there is a balance E oscillating in a plane perpendicular to the plane / 3 of the blade flapping. The end 10 of the balance, advanced in the direction of the rotation of the rotor, is articulated on the spider arm 3, so that this articulation is out of phase with the angle with respect to the axis 2 of beating of his blade. The other end 11 of the balance is articulated, by means of the connecting rod F, to the arm H of the horn 3 of the pitch variation of the blade, so that there is an offset in the center of the plane of the balance. E and beat axis 2.
The construction described makes it possible to take the appropriate values for the phase shift # as well as for the shift, without resulting in interdependence.
In this example, for reasons of simplicity and construction, there is an offset d between the center of oscillation of the rotor and its plane of articulation 2 of blades. This offset is not essential; the kinematics described here can always be designed so that the point of oscillation of the means coincides with the plane of articulation of the blades,
The embodiment described is not limiting; there are other solutions or other forms of elements which fall within the framework of the new essential characteristics.
