L'invention est relative à des bottes. coffrets ou autres em- ballages rigides et elle a plus spécialement pour objet des bottes ou au- tres emballages rigides pouvant être utilisés à double fin.
Il est connu de réaliser des bottes ou coffrets. notamment des bottes à confiserie, à mouchoirs, à parfum, etc., dont le couverçle ou la boîte elle-même est réalisée de façon à pouvoir servir de cadre pour un paysage ou un portrait.
Conformément à l'invention, la botte ou le coffret se compose de deux ou plusieurs éléments superposés, de préférence identiques et de section trapézoïdale, en carton, bois ou tout autre matériau naturel ou synthétique, ces éléments réunis par charnière ou tout autre moyen approprié formant chacun un cadre destiné à recevoir un chromo de fantaisie. un portrait, etc.
Suivant un mode d'exécution préféré, les cadres sont réalisés intérieurement de manière à ce que les portraits ou chromos se font face lorsque la boite ou le coffret est fermé, mais ces portraits ou chromos pourraient aussi bien être montés dans des cadres constituant les faces extérieures de la botte ou du coffret.
Quelle que soit la réalisation choisie, le possesseur de la boite ou du coffret, une fois celui-ci vide, pourra le redresser et le disposer ouvert sur une table. un piano, etc., en donnant aux cadres articulés l'un sur l'autre l'angle désiré: 45 ou 135 par exemple.
En vue de la réalisation des éléments formant cadres on pourra utiliser différents moyens de fixation des portraits, chromos, etc., mais on emploiera avantageusement le type de cadre à pattes angulaires et latérales faisant l'objet d'une demande de brevet déposée simultanément à la présente par la demanderesse.
Un coffret conforme à l'invention et comprenant deux éléments de cadre est représenté, uniquement à titre d'exemple, au dessin, où

D'une manière générale, un coffret conforme à l'invention est constitué par deux éléments 1 et 2 destinés à former les cadres envisagés.
Ces éléments, fabriqués en carton fort, bois ou tout autre produit naturel ou synthétique, possèdent ici chacun une section trapézoïdale de manière que, superposés suivant leur grande base, ils forment un réceptacle susceptible de contenir des bonbons, des chocolats, des mouchoirs ou tous autres produits commerciaux. Lesdits éléments sont reliés entre eux par une charnière 3, dite de piano et peuvent être maintenus assemblés en position de fermeture par tout moyen approprié.
Dans la forme d'exécution représentée au dessin, les éléments 1 et 2 du coffret sont conformés de manière à ce que leurs faces internes planes opposées forment cadre pour des images ou chromos y fixés primitivement à demeure par le fabricant, ou possèdent des moyens de fixation d'un portrait, d'une image, d'un chromo, etc. choisi par l'acheteur. Ces faces sont avantageusement recouvertures par une surface protectrice lorsque le coffret est utilisé comme réceptacle.

Si le coffret étant vidé. on veut sien servir comme cadre double. il suffira de l'ouvrir et de le dresser, comme le montre la Fig. 3, en disposant les deux cadres jointifs sous un angle de 45 ou de 135 par exemple, après avoir :fixé dans chacun des cadres le portrait ou l'image choisie désignée par 4 et 5 en Fig. 3. On pourrait par exemple monter dans ces cadres des images qui auraient primitivement recouvert les faces externes supérieure et inférieure du coffret.
Comme moyen de fixation des portraits ou images, on peut utiliser de manière connue des glissières formées d'une pièce avec le cadre ou rapportées (Fig. 3), mais comme le montre la Fig. 4 chaque cadre pourra posséder quatre pattes angulaires 6 et quatre pattes médianes ou latérales 7, qui s'étendent sur une longueur appropriée. Ces pattes 6 et 7 découpées dans le cadre ou fixées à ce dernier sont de préférence disposées dans des plans différents, de telle sorte que l'image 4 sera maintenue appliquée contre les pattes 6 par les pattes 7.
REVENDICATIONS.
1. Coffret, botte ou emballage rigide susceptible de servir à deux fins, caractérisé en ce qu'il est composé de deux éléments superposés au moins formant chacun un cadre pour un portrait, une image, etc., adapté primitivement par le fabricant ou postérieurement par l'acheteur, lesdits cadres étant reliés entre eux de manière à pouvoir être maintenus dressés après vidange du coffret sous un angle choisi.

According to the invention, the boot or the box consists of two or more superimposed elements, preferably identical and of trapezoidal section, made of cardboard, wood or any other natural or synthetic material, these elements joined together by a hinge or any other suitable means. each forming a frame intended to receive a fancy chromo. a portrait, etc.

In general, a box according to the invention consists of two elements 1 and 2 intended to form the frames envisaged.
These elements, made of strong cardboard, wood or any other natural or synthetic product, here each have a trapezoidal section so that, superimposed along their large base, they form a receptacle capable of containing sweets, chocolates, handkerchiefs or all. other commercial products. In the embodiment shown in the drawing, the elements 1 and 2 of the box are shaped so that their opposite flat internal faces form a frame for images or chromos originally fixed therein by the manufacturer, or have means of fixation of a portrait, an image, a chromo, etc. chosen by the buyer. These faces are advantageously covered by a protective surface when the box is used as a receptacle.

If the cabinet being emptied. one wants to serve as a double frame. it will suffice to open it and erect it, as shown in Fig. 3, by placing the two adjoining frames at an angle of 45 or 135 for example, after having: fixed in each of the frames the portrait or the chosen image designated by 4 and 5 in FIG. 3. One could for example mount in these frames images which would have originally covered the upper and lower outer faces of the cabinet.
As a means of fixing the portraits or images, it is possible to use in known manner slides formed integrally with the frame or attached (Fig. 3), but as shown in Fig. 4 each frame may have four angular legs 6 and four median or side legs 7, which extend over a suitable length. These tabs 6 and 7 cut out from the frame or fixed to the latter are preferably arranged in different planes, so that the image 4 will be held applied against the tabs 6 by the tabs 7.
CLAIMS.
1. Box, boot or rigid packaging capable of serving two purposes, characterized in that it is composed of at least two superimposed elements each forming a frame for a portrait, an image, etc., originally adapted by the manufacturer or subsequently by the buyer, said frames being interconnected so as to be able to be kept upright after emptying the cabinet at a chosen angle.
