DESCRIPTION DES OPERATIONS DE BROYAGE.

DEGRESSIVE PERCUSSION CENTRIFUGAL CRUSHER AND PROGRESSIVE TRITURATION
FOR PASTA, LIQUID OR OILY PRODUCTS
The present invention relates to a centrifugal mill with decreasing percussion and progressive trituration for pitiful products $ liquid or oily, \) mainly consisting of a stator or grinding casing in which., Around a vertical axis rotates at high speed a toothed frustoconical rotor, the upper part of which is formed by a receiving chamber supplied axially and equipped with a special suction and pre-crushing device by percussion.
In accordance with the invention, the rotor is mounted on a shaft of a vertical motor; it is internally hollow so as to allow constant cooling by the cold air current from the engine; its outer part consists of three distinct parts, namely
1 an upper part composed of a chamber which acts at the same time as receiving chamber supplied axially .. emulsifying and homogenizing chamber and finally percussion pre-grinding chamber.
This chamber is delimited at the bottom by the plate of the rotor and at the top by a circular band curved and inclined with respect to the plate of the rotordispositif which aims to prevent stagnation or even the return of the material towards the feed hopper on the one hand and directing the material towards the working slot or grinding chamber itself. This chamber with multiple functions also comprises in its central part a device whose lower part acts as a nut of fixing the rotor on the motor shaft and the upper part of which is made up of two parts, \)
a base in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped with sharp edges which under the effect of the speed of rotation emulsify and homogenize at the same time as they project the material towards the periphery of the rotor and a body of concave pyramidal shape with ogival head which under the effect of the rotational force acts as a suction pump Finally the hollow part between the curved circular band and 1.1) the rotor plate is divided into compartments.

ment by several teeth with broken corners, placed obliquely and perpendicular to each other, two by two.
These teeth serve not only as beaters-mixers but also as percussive members which project the material against the inner wall of the stator where it bursts under the effect of the shock and where, under the effect of the centrifugal force and the pressure exerted, it is immediately engaged in the working slot or grinding chamber.
2 a toothed frustoconical peripheral part, the lower base of which is larger than the upper base and of which the teeth go outward from top to bottom while the spacings between the teeth are narrowing and decreasing in size. depth to finally disappear at the finest grinding stage. The structure of the peripheral part of the rotor offers the advantage of producing several successive grinds in a single pass of the material. It is largely thanks to this particular structure that the material to be crushed and / or homogenized undergoes practically no heating and this, without it being necessary to cool the material while it is in the slot. work or grinding chamber, an advantage which is not realized by any other apparatus of the kind.
3 a lower part which comprises a device for rapid evacuation of the material, of rounded convex shape towards the outlet chute.
Under the effect of the centrifugal force and the structure of the device, the material is immediately discharged through the tangential outlet chute, making any passage of material in the direction of the motor axis impossible.
The stator or fixed casing has a cylindrical shape on the outside and a conical shape on the inside, the lower base of which is larger than the upper base. The outside part of the stator is threaded, it screws into the outside body of the device. The inner part of the stator is fitted with teeth which widen from top to bottom and whose spacing narrows and decreases in depth to finally disappear at the finest grinding stage.
DESCRIPTION OF CRUSHING OPERATIONS.
The materials to be triturated and / or homogenized are brought through a feed hopper into the receiving chamber of the rotor, where under the effect of centrifugal force and the suction, mixing and percussion devices, they are finally engaged in the grinding chamber or working slot (9). The degree of fineness and / or homogenization depends on a special adjustment device which allows the spacing or the approximation of the rotor and the stator.
