DISPOSITIF MULTIPLICATEUR DE VITESSE POUR FRAISEUSES, PERCEUSES ET AUTRES
MACHINES ANALOGUES.

<EMI ID=3.1>

SPEED MULTIPLIER DEVICE FOR MILLS, DRILLS AND OTHERS
SIMILAR MACHINES.
It is known that the spindle speed of a milling machine, a drill, etc. is not the same for tools of different diameter because of the speeds adopted which must be related to the diameter of the tools used (to obtain the suitable cutting speed).
It follows that, in order to use small cutters or small drills, users do not always have a machine whose spindle speed is sufficient.
The present invention relates to the new industrial product that constitutes a speed multiplier device adapting by means of its conical shank in the spindle of the machine and of a small footprint reduced to the maximum, device characterized by the combination inside of the apparatus of a multiplier system by a train.

To better understand the subject of the invention, we will describe by way of illustration only, without any limiting nature of its scope, an embodiment taken as an example and shown in the accompanying schematic drawing, in which:
<EMI ID = 3.1>
The mechanism is housed in a central body 1 finished at a

the engine
At the other end of this body 1 is disposed a cutter-holder spindle 3 rotating in two tapered roller bearings 4 and actuated by a pinion 5 keyed on said spindle engaged with an idler planet pinion 6 whose axis 7 is fixed and integral with the central body 1.
The planet pinion 6 is engaged with a ring gear 8 internally toothed and force-fitted into the housing 9; this casing carries
a finger 10 which is integral with it and which is intended to bear on
any element 11 of the machine, it follows that the housing 1 and the ring 8 are fixed.
Between the central body 1 and the inner ring 8 are interposed two anti-friction rings 12.
The operation of this device is as follows:
When the spindle of the machine, such as a milling machine, on which the device which is the subject of the invention is mounted, turns, it enters via the conical shank to the shaft 7 of the satellite pinion 6 and this The latter is driven in rotation around its axis by the ring gear 8 which is kept fixed by the finger 10, and it imparts, via the pinion 5, an overdrive movement to the axis 3 carrying the mandrel 13.
It is understood that one could modify in various ways the details of organization described and illustrated, or replace certain elements by equivalent elements without the economy of the invention being thereby altered. -
