   L'appareil consiste en une simple boite dans laquelle un paquet de cigarettesdont un coin a été déchiré (voir croquis I) est placé de telle façon que le coin déchiré du paquet correspond, à l' ouverture pratiquée dans la boîte (dessin II "a").
