FUSIL DE CHASSE.
La présente invention,se rapporte à un fusil de chasse comprenant un canon articulé par rapport à la crosse.
Les fusils de chasse de ce type, généralement à deux coups, possèdent au bout antérieur de la crosse une pièce dénommée bascule à laquelle s' accroche le canon. Dans les bascules connues sont creusés divers logements pour les éléments des dispositifs d'armement;et de mise à feu. Par suite de ce mode de construction, la fabrication de la bascule exige de nombreuses opérations de mécanisage qui en augmentent le prix.
La présente invention consiste en un mode simple de construction de la bascule en vue de supprimer ces opérations de mécanisage.
Suivant la présente invention, le corps de la bascule comporte, vers l'avant, sous une tablette sur laquelle s'adapte le canon, une saillie centrale longitudinale le long de* deux faces latérales de laquelle se montent les dispositifs d'armement fixés à des pivots latéraux de part et d'autre de la dite saillie.
Suivant une caractéristique, cette partie du corps de la bascule est recouverte par un couvercle amovible qui possède une section transversale en forme d'un U dont les ailes enveloppent l'ensemble des mécanismes et les met à l'abri c'est-à-dire que les ailes du couvercle viennent s'appuyer sur la tablette de part et d'autre du canon.
Une autre particularité consiste à prévoir à l'avant des ailes du couvercle =-ergot venant coopérer avec la tablette sur le corps de la bascule et à l'arrière des dites ailes deux languettes s'appuyant sur le corps, de part et d'autre des détentes.
Une partie importante de l'invention réside en ce que le couvercle amovible est constitué par une tôle emboutie ou est fabriqué en matière plastique,

La présente invention sera plus aisément comprise en se référant à la description suivante des dessins annexés qui montrent, à titre illustratif seulement, un mode de réalisation de l'invention.

Il apparaît sur la figure 3 qu'un fusil comporte un canon 2 accroché par un dispositif connu, non montré, à la bascule, sur laquelle se monte la crosse non représentée.
Dans ce fusil, le canon 2 est articulé autour de l'axe 3 prévu à l'avant de la bascule; l'ouverture et la fermeture s'opèrent grâce à un verrou dont on a uniquement montré la queue de manoeuvre 4.
Suivant une particularité de l'invention, la bascule comporte à l'avant une tablette 5 sur laquelle s'appuie le canon 2 et une saillie centrale 7 dans laquelle est prévu le trou de logement 7a pour le crochet du canon.
De part et d'autre de la saillie 7 se .montent les dispositifs d'armement et de mise à feu,non montrés, c'est-à-dire qu'il est prévu de part et d'autre de cette saillie 7 des pivots tels que 7b et 7c pour la détente et son ressort.
Un mécanisme apparaît dans la figure 3. On voit qu'il comporte un levier la.basculant sur le pivot 7c et dont l'extrémité postérieure vient se loger dans une encoche 11a duchien llb qui peut âtre retenu dans la position armée par la détente 12. Le ressort à lame 10a sert à projeter le chien lorsque l'on appuie sur une gachette 12 soumise au ressort 12a. La mise à feu se réalise par le percuteur 11c terminant le chien llb.
Sur cette saillie 7 vient's'adapter le couvercle 8 amovible, montré en pointillé sur la figure 3;ce dernier possède une section transversale de la forme d'un U dont les deux ailes latérales Sa recouvrent les dispositifs d'armement. Ces ailes ont évidemment une hauteur telle qu'elles viennent s'appuyer sur la tablette 5. De plus, vers l'avant elles se terminent par un ergot 8b coopérant avec la facette 5a de la'tablette 5 ; à l'arrière, elles comportent deux languettes 8c qui recouvrent les détentes.
Dans la réalisation d'une bascule suivant l'invention, il est clair que la saillie 7 doit posséder une largeur telle qu'elle laisse de chaque coté un espace suffisant pour y adapter les dispositifs d'armement. Le couvercle amovible 8 en tôle emboutie ou en matière plastique vient ensuite envelopper les dispositifs d'armement et de mise à feu, les mettant ainsi à l'abri. La sous-garde 9 se fixe à l'arrière de la saillie 7.
Un avantage de la présente réalisation consiste en ce qu'il est possible de former la tablette et la saillie directement lors de la fabrication de la bascule; on évite ainsi le forage des trous et logements pour les dispositifs d'armement et de mise à feu comme cela se fait dans les bascules connues.
On peut aussi signaler qu'il est aisé d'entretenir les mécanismes qui peuvent être facilement atteints ce qui est aussi avantageux pour les réparations.

The present invention relates to a hunting rifle comprising a barrel articulated with respect to the butt.
Hunting rifles of this type, generally with two shots, have at the front end of the butt a piece called a rocker to which the barrel is hooked. In the known rockers are hollowed out various housings for the elements of the arming and firing devices. As a result of this method of construction, the manufacture of the scale requires numerous mechanization operations which increase the price.
The present invention consists of a simple method of constructing the scale with a view to eliminating these mechanization operations.

It appears in Figure 3 that a rifle comprises a barrel 2 attached by a known device, not shown, to the rocker, on which is mounted the butt not shown.
In this rifle, the barrel 2 is articulated around the axis 3 provided at the front of the lever; the opening and closing are effected by means of a lock of which only the operating tail 4 has been shown.
According to a feature of the invention, the rocker comprises at the front a shelf 5 on which the barrel 2 rests and a central projection 7 in which the housing hole 7a for the barrel hook is provided.
On either side of the projection 7 are mounted the arming and firing devices, not shown, that is to say that it is provided on either side of this projection 7 of pivots such as 7b and 7c for the trigger and its spring.
A mechanism appears in Figure 3. It can be seen that it comprises a lever la.turning on the pivot 7c and the rear end of which is housed in a notch 11a of the dog 11b which can be retained in the armed position by the trigger 12 The leaf spring 10a is used to project the hammer when a trigger 12 subjected to the spring 12a is pressed. The firing is carried out by the striker 11c ending the hammer 11b.
The removable cover 8, shown in dotted lines in FIG. 3, is fitted to this projection 7; the latter has a cross section in the shape of a U, the two side wings Sa of which cover the arming devices. These wings obviously have a height such that they come to rest on the shelf 5. In addition, towards the front they end in a lug 8b cooperating with the facet 5a of la'tablette 5; at the rear, they have two tabs 8c which cover the detents.
In the production of a lever according to the invention, it is clear that the projection 7 must have a width such that it leaves sufficient space on each side to adapt the arming devices to it. The removable cover 8 made of stamped sheet metal or of plastic material then envelops the arming and firing devices, thus protecting them. The guard 9 attaches to the back of the projection 7.
An advantage of the present embodiment consists in that it is possible to form the tablet and the projection directly during the manufacture of the rocker; the drilling of holes and housings for the arming and firing devices is thus avoided as is done in known rockers.
It can also be pointed out that it is easy to maintain the mechanisms which can be easily reached, which is also advantageous for repairs.
