ABRI.

SHELTER. SUCH AS A CAMPING TENT.
The present invention relates to a shelter, of the type, for example, of tents used for camping.
According to the invention, such a shelter consists of at least one sheet of flexible impermeable material, such as canvas, a plastic material, etc., supported by pneumatic tubes also made of a flexible material, identical or not to the material of the sheet, said pneumatic tubes, by virtue of their shape and arrangement, ensuring, to said sheet, when inflated, the appearance of a shelter, a tent, etc.
According to one embodiment, the aforesaid pneumatic tubes are integral with the sheet forming said shelter.
According to a particular embodiment, two sheets are provided which are joined together along lines chosen so as to thus form a certain number of juxtaposed tubes or not, ensuring the rigidity of the assembly and giving said sheets 1- look of such a shelter.
Other details and features of the invention will emerge from the following description given by way of non-limiting example, with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 shows a side elevational view of a tent made according to the invention. attempted. Figure 2 is a front elevational view of the same tent.
In the embodiment shown in the figures, there are provided two fabrics, impermeable to Air, 1 and 2, regularly joined together so as to form kinds of tubes 3 that can be inflated.

proud, for example, by a valve 4 so that the assembly takes the form shown in the figures.
Molds 5, pneumatic or not, can also be provided in certain places to ensure the maintenance of the tubes in a substantially angular shape.
At both ends, the tent will be closed by a canvas 6, possibly including a door 7.
The tent can be kept on the ground by the usual means of anchoring.
Inside, the tent may have berths 9, seats, etc., whether or not integral with the tent, and also made in such a way as to be able to be inflated.
Instead of being constituted by two canvases forming tubes between them, the tent could be made with only one canvas, supported at certain places chosen by tubes; giving it the shape of a tent, and which are united or not. Likewise, in the case of two canvases, it is not absolutely necessary to provide a continuous succession of tubes, as in figure la It is quite obvious that one could also provide more than two canvases.
To avoid too much trouble in the event of a leak in one of the tubes, more than one inflation valve, possibly even one valve for each tube can be provided.
The tent or shelter, according to the invention, can obviously have absolutely any shape.
In the practical embodiment of the invention, any material impermeable to air can be used, such as plastic, of the polyethylene type, for example. Such a tent could thus constitute an improved shelter against wind, water, heat, cold, gases, radiation, etc. In fact, in certain cases, the double-walled system could make it possible to obtain air-conditioned shelters, or shelters resistant to the penetration of harmful radiation.
The shelter, according to the invention, can be quickly deflated, be easy to transport, and be quickly reinstalled in another location.
Any suitable means, such as a bellows, a pump, a cylinder, etc., which will breathe air or any gas whatsoever, can be used to inflate it. This shelter can obviously also be inflated by the mouth.
The sectional shape of the support tubes or forming part of the canvas (s) of the tent may be absolutely any round, square, rectangular, etc. Two or more tubes of one of these shapes can also be juxtaposed.
Valves or valves may also, at selected locations, prevent a section from suffering an accident, the whole assembly from losing the blown air.
Various pressures may also be obtained in the assembly by means of pressure regulating devices (valves, valves, etc.) for a judicious distribution of forces, as well as to allow placing, at the interior of 1-shelter, the various accessories, as discussed above, these taking shape and being made suitable for use by simple air blowing through the single mouthpiece.
It should be understood that the invention is in no way limited to the embodiments described above but that many modifications could be made to it without departing from the scope of the present invention.
