Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an inflatable element adapted to form in the inflated state a substantially planar wall.
The present invention also relates to a structure comprising one or more substantially planar walls, one at least flat walls being an inflatable element of the type previous.
We know an inflatable element adapted to form in the state inflated a flat wall, this element consisting of two textile tablecloths connected to each other by fixed threads each to these two layers, each of these layers being formed a textile layer proper, to which are attached the wires, covered with a waterproof outer coating air, these sheets being joined to each other at their periphery by a seal also airtight, said element comprising at least one inflation valve with valve check.
Such an element can be produced according to the method of velvet weaving. Each textile tablecloth can be coated, at least on its outer face, by coating or rolling, an airtight and, of course, waterproof coating and liquids.
In the inflated state, the two textile layers are maintained parallel to each other by the wires, of length constant, which are each attached to the two layers.
We know that after filling with a gas, for example air, we obtain with an internal pressure of a few hundreds of grams, a rigid planar structure.
This product is already used as a boat bottom inflatable, the two textile sheets can be easily glued or welded together or independently one of the other to the inflatable tubes of these boats.
However, such an inflatable element is not suitable for be part of a three-dimensional structure adapted to be used as work and / or living quarters.
We know an inflatable structure described in the patent US-2698020 A formed from the assembly of elements adjacent inflatables joined together. It is made up an inflatable envelope reinforced by radial ribs also inflatable. This structure is made of a single holding and does not include inflatable elements constituting an individual wall.
The object of the present invention is to remedy the disadvantages of known inflatable elements, and to propose an inflatable element of the aforementioned type adapted to form in the state inflated a substantially planar wall of a structure of work or home, this inflatable element can be integrated into said structure easily and reliably.
The invention therefore relates to a structure comprising one or several planar walls, at least one of the walls flat consists of an inflatable element, this element consisting of two textile tablecloths, one connected to the other by wires each attached to these two layers, each of these sheets being formed of a textile layer properly said, to which are fixed the wires covered with a airtight outer covering, these sheets being joined together at their periphery by a means of also airtight connection, said connection means having, along at least one peripheral edge, under the shape of an elongated edge element or overlapping joint each of the layers and fixed longitudinally thereto, by example by gluing or welding, said element comprising at least one inflation valve with non-return valve, characterized in that it includes retaining means main integral with one of said layers and adapted to cooperate with additional means of restraint integral with a wall adjacent to said peripheral edge of so as to permanently stress said peripheral edge in direction of said adjacent wall to press said edge peripheral against said adjacent wall in the inflated state of said inflatable element, the wall of the structure adjacent to each peripheral edge of said inflatable element comprising retaining means complementary to retaining means main provided on the inflatable element along said edge peripheral.
Since each peripheral edge of this set inflatable can be permanently pressed against a wall adjacent, it is thus possible to carry out between the inflatable element and such an adjacent wall a rigid connection, although simple and reliable, and waterproof or substantially waterproof because that the edge of the inflatable element is pressed and therefore slightly crushed against said adjacent wall.
The inflatable element is therefore perfectly adapted to form a wall of any working structure or according to the present invention.
The main means of restraint and the means of additional retainers constitute a removable connection.
The main means of restraint and the means of additional retainers constitute an elastic connection.
The main retaining means include a strip fixed on a sheet along the peripheral edge, the strip having along its adjacent longitudinal edge said peripheral edge of the retaining elements such as Velcro strip, rack and pinion slide, tie rods, cords, etc ...
Retention means are provided on each sheet along said peripheral edge.
The structure includes a base on which are fixed side walls, at least one of which is constituted by an inflatable element and for fixing said inflatable element at the base, an elongated profile is used, U-shaped cross section, connected to said base, having ribs forming the branches of the U being spaced from each other by a predetermined distance allowing the edge to be inserted between the ribs corresponding device of said inflatable element in the state inflated.
Tie rods connect the inflatable element to the profile.
9.Each
1.In the example shown, all of the
As shown in Figure 5, the
incorporé (non représenté).Each of these layers is formed by a layer
textile itself 19a, 20a, for example polyester,

dans l'état gonflé de l'élément gonflable 18.In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 3 to 5,

Thus, the
In the example shown in Figure 3, the means restraint and additional restraint constitute a removable connection, which facilitates handling and transport operations before assembly and after dismantling the structure shown.
glissière 29.In this example, the retaining means include
a
adjacente.We have seen that the
25.In the example shown at the top of
FIG. 3, retaining means 28, 29 are provided on

type bande Velcro ®.In this example, a waterproof cover

In the example shown in Figure 4, a profile
elongated 32 of U-shaped cross section is fixed
to the
In this example, the retaining means are
gonflable. Many systems for fixing a wall to a
other or to a base can be used. So in Figure 3,
the wall 4 on the left is connected by
The embodiment shown in Figure 2 can be particularly used as a mobile shelter, the central structure 9 which may have the dimensions standardized of a container respecting the templates road and rail. The structure 9 can thus be easily transported and stored anywhere where it can be deployed to form the structure complex 8 of FIG. 2. This waterproof structure, to the air, and therefore to bacteria, sand winds, etc., can have many applications both civil and military. In the latter case, the structure 8 can be fitted inside if necessary shielding electromagnetic and filtration means, air purification and treatment.
The structures of the invention described above thus constitute economic, rigid and insulating in the inflated state, space-saving and easy to fold, store, transport in a deflated state. The retaining means may be assembled in the inflated state or in the deflated state. Structures in the inflated state may obviously be reinforced by known means, reinforcements or interior arches, shrouds, etc., (not shown) to withstand wind and outdoor conditions.
Excellent results can thus be obtained for example with an inflatable element of about 5 cm thick.
Of course, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments just described and we can make many changes to them and modifications without departing from the scope of the invention.
The embodiment shown in Figure 2 can thus have a complementary structure of a single side of the central structure. The side wall longitudinal 11 can of course have two panels articulated, one at its lower part to constitute a pedestal, the other at its upper part to constitute a roofing element, the inflatable elements constituting simply the side walls of the structure complementary.
