Description

   EMBALLAGE THERMIQUEMENT ISOLANT.

     A l'intérieur de la boite est placée une feuille de papier ondulé, 5, dont la hauteur est égale à la hauteur de la boite et dont la longueur est égale au périmètre de la section transversale de la boite; de cette façon, la feuille vient former une couche intérieure dans la boîte sans qu'il y ait re- couvrement de ses extrémités.

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

   THERMALLY INSULATED PACKAGING.

   The present invention relates to a thermally insulating packaging comprising an outer casing, preferably cylindrical.

   Such packaging is intended in particular for the conservation, for a limited time, of products such as ice cream, which can then be taken away by buyers without being consumed immediately.

   The object of the invention is to produce such packaging in a simple and inexpensive manner. To this end, in the packaging according to the invention, inside the casing is arranged at least one layer of a thermally insulating material in which hollows are provided.

   In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the aforesaid layer is formed from a sheet of corrugated cardboard or paper. In addition, the corrugated face is advantageously placed towards the inside of the packaging; in this way, if ice cream is placed in the packaging, the ripple is reproduced in it and produces a decorative effect which is reflected in the unwrapped contents.

   Other details and features of the invention will emerge from the description of a particular embodiment of the invention given below, by way of non-limiting example and with reference to the accompanying drawing.

   The figure is a perspective view with partial breakage of a packaging according to the invention.

   The packaging shown comprises a cylindrical cardboard box 1, the bottom 2 of which is removable and is retained by a projection 3 provided at one end of the box 1; the other end of it is covered with a cover 4.

     Inside the box is placed a sheet of corrugated paper, 5, the height of which is equal to the height of the box and the length of which is equal to the perimeter of the cross section of the box; in this way, the sheet comes to form an interior layer in the box without any covering of its ends.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

   However, one can also use a longer sheet, which is wound in several successive turns, so as to form several layers, which only reinforces the thermal insulation obtained.

   The corrugated side of the sheet 5 is placed towards the inside of the box: in this way, if we put the ice cream in the box, the corrugations form in this ice cream a series of protrusions and depressions. longitudinal sections which, when the ice cream has been taken out of its packaging, produce a decorative effect.

   The fact that the base 3 is removable facilitates the expulsion of the contents of the packaging since it suffices to push this base towards the end provided to receive the cover 4; the sheet 5 and the contents of the packaging are thus removed. It is then sufficient to unroll the sheet 5 to completely release its contents.

   It should be understood that the invention is in no way limited to the embodiment described and that many modifications can be made to the latter without departing from the scope of the present application.
