PERFECTIONNEMENTS AUX BANQUETTES DE SIEGES.
L'invention se rapporte aux banquettes de sièges du genre de celles comportant une -armature en cadre 0 .
Jusqu'ici dans les banquettes de ce genre, notamment celles équi- pant les sièges pour véhicules, l'armature était réalisée à partir de profi- lés en "U" découpés pour suivre le galbe du fond de banquette et cintrés et . sur lesquels des cornières étaient rapportées généralement par rivetage. Ce mode de construction était inesthétique du fait des traces de rivets sur la face visible de cette armature, ce qui obligeait, pour obtenir un aspect de fini désiré, à recouvrir l'armature d'une tôle enjoliveuse. Le travail se trouvait ainsi notablement compliqué, augmenté et devenait peu rationnel. De plus, les tôles se détérioraient facilement à l'usage.
La présente invention a pour but de remédief à ces inconvénients de permettre la réalisation d'ârmatures rigides, légères, d'usinage aisé et de présentation irréprochable et à cet'effet, on prévoit d'utiliser dans la construction de ces armatures, des profilés en U à trois ailes, l'aile média- ne assurant la rigidité obtenue jusqu'ici par cornières rapportées.
Suivant une particularité de l'invention, cette aile médiane du profil U à trois ailes est distante de l'aile inférieure du profil, d'une và- leur égale à la distance qui sépare les ailes du profil U simple formant la partie arrière de l'armature.
D'autres détails et particularités de l'invention apparaitront au cours de la description des dessins annexés donnés à simple titre-expli- catif et non limitatif et dans lesquels :

Un siège à double banquette (Figs. 1 et 2) comporte des banquet- tes 12, des pieds 13, un dossier commun 14.
La banquette 12 forme un ensemble venant se loger terminée sur les pieds 13 et contre le dossier 14; elle y est fixée de façon connue, gé- néralement par boulons.
Un mode de réalisation d'une banquette ancien système est représen- té à la Fig. 3. L'armature en forme de cadre 15 (Figs. 9 et 10) est réalisée à partir d'un profil en U simple 16 formant la face et les côtés de cette ar- mature, tandis que la partie arrière est réalisée à partir d'un profil U sim- ple 17 d'âme plus petite. Une cornière 18 fixée au moyen de rivets 19 sur . le profil 16 sert à renforcer le profil 16 sur chacun des deux cotés de l'ar- mature 15, l'aile supérieure 20 du profil 16 et une partie variable de son âme 21 ayant été supprimées pour permettre d'épouser le galbe du fond de ban- quette 22.
Figso 5 et 7, une banquette à armature conforme à l'invention comporte un profil U simple 17 à l'arrière tandis que les autres côtés sont composés d'un profil U 23 à trois ailes 24, 25, 26 et d'âme 27.
La face avant du cadre ou armature se compose du profil U 23 à trois ailes non amputé tandis que les côtés sont privés de l'aile supérieu- re 24 ainsi que d'une partie variable de l'âme 27 afin de pouvoir épouser le galbe de l'encadrement du fond de banquette 22 (Fig. 5). L'âme 27 sera supprimée jusqu'au niveau de l'aile médiane 25 du profil 23 à l'endroit où ce profil 23 viendra rejoindre le profil 17 à un des, coins arrière de l'ar- mature 15, cette aile médiane 25 étant à même hauteur que l'aile supérieu- re du profil 17.
L'armature ainsi réalisée se composera virtuellement d'un cadre en profil U simple de petit modèle, celui du profil U 17, surmonté sur sa face antérieure d'un second profil U simple celui-ci étant la partie supé- rieure du profil U à trois ailes et sur ses côtés, de flancs de profil ap- propriéo
Les deux pièces constitutives de l'armature métallique, en allia- ge de Al et Mg dans les exemples, sont assemblées par soudure suivant les procédés en usage et les soudures seront polies, ce qui permet une présenta- tion impeccable.
Sur cette armature 15 vient se placer le fond de banquette 22 qui prend appui sur tout-le pourtour de l'armature 15 par son encadrement et y est fixé de façon connue. Un bloc de bois 29 de forme appropriée augmente la surface d'appui pour le fond de banquette.
On prévoir également l'utilisation de l'armature à profil U à trois ailes pour des banquettes garnies et les Figs. 7 et'8 montrent deux vues d'un mode de réalisation d'une banquette de ce genreo Les ressorts 28 utili- sés sont attachés à leurs extrémités aux ailes supérieures des profils U sim- ples et à trois ailes; des capitonnages appropriés 29 et 30 recouvrent l'en- semble de la banquette.

The invention relates to bench seats of the type of those comprising a frame 0 -frame.
Until now, in benches of this type, in particular those fitted to seats for vehicles, the frame was made from "U" -shaped profiles cut to follow the curve of the back of the bench and bent and. on which angles were generally attached by riveting. A double bench seat (Figs. 1 and 2) has banquets 12, legs 13, a common backrest 14.
The bench 12 forms a set which is housed finished on the feet 13 and against the backrest 14; it is fixed therein in a known manner, generally by bolts.
An embodiment of an old system bench is shown in FIG. 3. The frame-shaped reinforcement 15 (Figs. 9 and 10) is made from a simple U-profile 16 forming the face and sides of this frame, while the rear part is made from of a simple U profile 17 with a smaller core. An angle bar 18 fixed by means of rivets 19 on. the profile 16 serves to reinforce the profile 16 on each of the two sides of the frame 15, the upper flange 20 of the profile 16 and a variable part of its web 21 having been removed to allow it to match the curve of the bottom bench 22.
Figso 5 and 7, a bench seat according to the invention comprises a simple U profile 17 at the rear while the other sides are composed of a U profile 23 with three wings 24, 25, 26 and web 27 .
