RETAINING DEVICE FOR REMOVABLE SHEETS.
Various devices are known for maintaining or retaining removable sheets. The present invention relates to such a retaining device for removable leaves comprising at least two parts assembled so as to form an articulation, at least one of which is provided with retaining members for the removable leaflets.
The retaining device according to the invention differs essentially from the devices known hitherto in that one of the parts forming the articulation comprises a member at least partially embracing a conjugate member of the other articulated part ^ at least in one predetermined angular position so as to keep the two rear parts assembled.

rotate relative to each other about the hinge axis and be moved in the direction of said axis.
Means can be provided allowing the pivoting of one of the articulated parts relative to the other only if the articulated parts are moved relative to each other in the direction of the axis of the articulation. We can. also provide means allowing the movement of one of the articulated parts relative to the other in the direction of the articulation axis only when the articulated parts are separated from one another by a pivoting movement.
Other characteristics of the invention will emerge from the description which will follow and from the appended drawing showing schematically by way of example some embodiments of the subject of the invention. On this drawing

In the embodiment of the object of the invention shown in fig 3 the articulation axis is located in the theoretical cylindrical envelope tangent to the retaining members 2 and 3 of circular shape.
In order to achieve an assembly allowing pivoting and

at least in determined angular positions ^ - so as to assemble the two articulated parts of the devices
Fig. 5 shows a variant of the pin 4 which differs from it in that the cross section of the members 4 and 5 has approximately the shape of a spiral. In the variant shown in fig. 69 the members 4 and -5 still have a circular section, the member 4 comprising a sharp edge 11 In this way.; - the cross section of the member 4 is angular, at least partially According to figo 7, the two members 4 and 5 can also have shapes, and of identical dimensions, so that the outer member 5 will generally embrace the inner member less completely than in the previous cases.
In the embodiment of members 4 and 5 shown at <EMI ID = 11.1> watch hands,., So as to oppose this pivoting movement with resistance making it possible to prevent an untimely pivoting This position preferably corresponds to the closed position of the retaining members 2 and 3. To block the two articulated parts of the device according to the invention in a predetermined angular position and in a relative sliding position, the embodiment according to figure 13 comprises a third element 15 having the form of a wire folded back from a way ap-

The tab 16 preferably has a certain elasticity to ensure perfect closure of the retaining members. The retaining members 2 and 3 themselves consist of bent wire sections impinging on each other in the closed position of the device.
