" Table de jeu"
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
vue

"Game table"
The present invention relates to a game table essentially characterized by an annular wheel surrounded by a certain number of individual game tables; the whole being arranged so that the croupier or the owner of the game can stand in the center of the ring forming the wheel.
The ring wheel is divided into racks in which the balls or rubber balls thrown by the players fall. Only marbles or balls falling into
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
the lockers corresponding to the player's table and only during the passage of said lockers in front of this table are taken into account to determine the number of points allocated to this player.
Several variants of execution are possible, as regards the number, the arrangement and the identification of the lockers, the number of balls or balls placed at the disposal of the player, the mode of reception or collection of the bins. balls thrown, only as regards the signaling or recording of the points acquired by the player (s). Likewise, the wheel drive device can be produced in any way.
In one embodiment, the compartments, provided at their upper part with an opening allowing the passage of the ball, can comprise either an internal contact engaged by the ball and transmitting an impulse towards a meter or a counter. electro-magnetic indicator placed near the player, ie a mechanical device made up of pushers and levers transmitting the necessary impulse to any counter or indicator.
In another execution, only the winning balls, that is to say, those arriving in one of the lockers allocated to the player's table, may fall into this latter and cause the points allocated to them to be recorded, the others biles being retained by a rod or a valve closing the opening of the rack.
It is also possible to realize a game table, in accordance with the present invention, in which the winning balls instead of falling directly into the bin, would be collected, near the extreme edge of the table near the racks, by a bucket. which will lead them to
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
a horizontal channel opening into the corresponding bin, the logs not collected by the bucket, would be considered as lost and would fall directly into a collective ditch.
In each of the executions, as discussed above, some means, for example: a cleat, placed near the extreme corner of the table located near the wheel, can be provided to release the balls tmmbées in the racks or retained in or in front of these last, so as to put them back in the circuit and / or to allow the keeper or the croupier to control the number of balls thrown by each player, so as to avoid possible fraud.
The racks of the wheel can be identified in any way, either by numbering or by a color, in the latter case, the balls would also be colored and would give rise to the attribution of points only in the only case or they would end up in a corresponding colored bin. Optionally, the marking color could be replaced by a number or by a number, in this case the ball would only be considered as winning if it ends up in the box bearing the corresponding number or number.
As regards the transmission and signaling or recording of the points attributed to the winning balls of each player, these can be carried out, indifferently, by electrical or mechanical means or a combination of these two means.
These numerous variations in no way affect the scope or extent of the invention.
One embodiment, given by way of non-limiting example, is shown in the appended drawings in which:
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
view
Figure 1 is a plan schematic of an annular wheel surrounded by twelve individual tables; Figure 2 is a vertical section along the line II - II of Figure 1.
The game table shown comprises an annular wheel 1, equipped with any number of compartments 2 and arranged in the center of twelve individual tables 5 - 5 '- 5 "etc.
The interior space 3 of the wheel 1, in communication with the passage 4 arranged between the individual tables, is arranged so as to allow the owner of the game or the croupier to stand in the center of the wheel. Each individual table 5-5'-5 "etc, carries near the player a totalizer 6. This totalizer can be electromagnetic or mechanical, it can optionally be replaced by any indicator, luminous or otherwise.
In the embodiment shown in the drawings (fig. 2) the annular wheel 1 is driven by a friction roller 11, actuated by means of a pulley 10 and a belt or chain 9, by an electric motor 8.
The ball falling into the compartment 2, passes through the opening 12 drilled in the upper part of the latter and actuates an electrical contact (not shown in the drawing) which transmits an impulse to the totalizer 6 through the inter- mediary of trolleys and brushes 7. It is obvious that the arrangement of the brushes assigned to each of the tables allows the individual allocated lockers to be defined at will / to each table, as well as the relative position of the said lockers in relation to at this table, in which the ball is considered winning and in what proportion. The position and the adjustment of these brushes therefore make it possible to achieve any desired combination to vary the playing conditions at will.
