Table à pieds amovibles.
La présente invention a pour objet un meuble consistant en une table du genre de celle comportant un plateau horizontal soutenu par au moins trois pieds.
Une des caractéristiques de l'invention réside en ce que la table comprend un plateau creux, éventuellement constitué en deux pièces amovibles, un plateau plan et un encadrement destiné à porter horizontalement le dit plateau, ainsi que les pieds de ce meuble, caractérisée en ce que les pieds sont amovibles du plateau qu'ils soutiennent, ces pieds portant à cet effet une tête à vis et les parties constituantes du dit plateau des trous taraudés correspondants, l'assemblage s'opé- rant par vissage
D'une manière générale, les tables sont fort encombrantes lors de leur transport et, de plus,risquent de ce fait d'être détériorées.
On a déjà songé à rendre les pieds pliables sous le pla- teau. Cependant, la pratique montre que cette conception ne permet pas de donner à la table non seulement une stabilité parfaite, mais qu'elle nuit à la présentation du meuble, par

suite de joints imparfaits et des charnières restant visibles.
La présente invention a pour but d'obvier à ces divers inconvénients, tout en permettant de conserver, au point de vue esthétique et stabilité, l'aspect des tables réalisées de la manière habituelle par emboîtement et collage.
Les détails relatifs à l'invention sont décrits ci-après à l'aide du dessin annexé, représenté à seul titre d'exemple, et dans lequel :
La fig. 1 montre, en perspective, une table suivant la présente invention.
La fig. 2 est une coupe transversale à travers de cette table.
La fig. 3 donne, à plus grande échelle, le mode de fixa- tion d'un pied dans l'encadrement du plateau.
La fig. 4 montre une variante de réalisation, suivant laquelle des coins d'assemblage et de renforcement de l'encadre- ment sont pourvus de trous taraudés pour recevoir les pieds.
Suivant le mode de réalisation représenté aux fig. 1 à 3, la table se compose essentiellement d'un plateau creux 1 tenu à écartement du sol par des pieds 2; ce plateau creux 1 comporte un plateau proprement dit 1 en un matériau rigide, notamment du verre, verre argenté, bois, tôle et analogues, reposant sur un encadrement 11
Des trous taraudés 3 sont prévus à la base de cet encadre- ment 1 . De leur côté, les pieds 2 ont une tête filetée 4, le bout supérieur des dits pieds étant ainsi constitué par des vis. les pas de ces bouts filetés correspondent au taraud ayant été employé pour le taraudage du trou 3. Il résulte de l'ensemble de cette conception que l'assemblage s'opère en vissant simple- ment les t'êtes de vis 4 des pieds 2 dans les ouvertures tarau- dées. 3.

Suivant les matériaux utilisés ainsi que la conception et l'usage de la table, on peut prévoir que des douilles métalli- ques taraudées intérieurement soient chassées dans les trous prévus dans l'encadrement; de même la partie filetée 4, prévue aux extrémités supérieures des pieds, peut 'être avantageusement réalisée en fixant aux dites extrémités, d'une manière connue, notamment par collage, des vis en bois même métalliques, dûment filetées pour s'engager dans les dites douilles taraudées et éviter de la sorte que, par suite d'un serrage trop intense, l'encadrement et les pieds soient détériorés par arrachement des fibres, fissures et autres.
Ze montage d'une table s'effectue en vissant les pieds 2 sur l'encadrement 11 en engageant, à cet effet, les bouts fi- letés 4 dans les trous taraudés 3 et ce, jusqu'à obtenir le ser- rage désiré en vue de former un ensemble homogène et rigide. Le plateau plan 1 est alors disposé au-dessus de l'encadrement 11, au cas où ces deux éléments ne fassent pas corps.
Afin d'éviter que, suivant la réalisation prévue au dessin montrant un plateau creux de la table constitué en deux pièces amovibles, le plateau 1 se déplace latéralement par rapport à l'encadrement 11, ce dernier porte un bord dressé 5 contre le- quel vient s'appuyer la périphérie du dit plateau 1.
En se référant plus particulièrement à la fig. 4, l'enca- drement 11 est formé d'un assemblage de moulures sciées à on- glets et fixées ensemble par des coins 6.
Dans chaque coin 6 est prévu un trou taraudé 3 destiné à recevoir le bout fileté d'un des pieds.
Il va de soi que, sans s'écarter de l'esprit de la présen- te invention, le plateau 1 peut être prévu également en une seule pièce et que sa forme peut varier suivant le style qu'il est désiré obtenir et la destination de la table. Le plateau peut être en n'importe quelle matière et peut éventuellement être collé sur.l'encadrement, s'y forer ou encore être réellement encadré par le dit encadrement.
