Dispositif d'a.ttache -pour rosses ou balais.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'attache pour brosses ou balais qui comportent une planchette sur laquelle sont fixés les poils. L'invention est caractérisée par une pièce en forme de douille tubulaire émergeant de la face supérieure de la planchette de la. brosse et conditionnée pour être fixée sur celle-ci au moyen d'un ou plusieurs boulons, vis ou similaires, traversant la dite planchette.
L'invention sera expliquée mieux en détail dans la. description qui va suivre d'une forme de réalisation de celle-ci, en se reportant au dessin ci-annexé dans lequel la fig. 1 est une coupe longitudinale d'un dispositif suivant l'invention monté sur un balai ou brosse représente en traits interrompus,

Le dispositif d'attache du manche représenté au dessin et prévu en substance pour une brosse en piassava, comprend une pièce métallique 1 en forme de douille, consistant en une partie tubulaire 2 se rétrécissant de préférence quelque peu vers le bas. A sa partie supérieure, la partie tubulaire 2 porte un collet ou bourrelet raidisseur 3 et dans la, paroi de la partie tubulaire sont prévus des forages servant à l'inserti on de vis 4 pour la fixation d'un manche 5, engagé dans la partie tubulaire.
La partie inférieure de la partie tubulaire 2 est coupée suivant un angle oblique et soudée sur la partie médiane d'un disque 6, dont la surface plane forme ainsi un angle oblique avec l'axe de la partie tubulaire 2. Le disque 6 a un diamètre plus grand que l'extrémité inférieure de la pa,rtie tubulaire, de sorte qu'il forme autour de cette extrémité inférieure, une bride oblique prenant appui sur la face supérieure de la planchette 7 de la brosse et pourvue d'un certain nombre de saillies 8 pénètrant dans la planchette lorsque la pièce en forme de douille est serrée sur celui-ci.
En plus de la bride et de ses saillies, la pièce en forme de douille est attachée à la planchet- te au moyen d'une protubérance circulaire 9 soudée sur la face inférieure du disque,et partant du centre de celui-ci pour s'emboiter dans la planchette 7 de la brosse. Au centre du disque 6 et de la protubérance 9 s'étendant vers le bas, est prévu un orifice fileté 10 pour recevoir l'extrémité filetée d'un boulon 11 conditionné pour être introduit par le dessous, au travers d'une ouverture 12 concentrique à l'orifice 10 et pratiquée de part en part au travers de la planchette 7.
Entre la tête du boulon et la face inférieure de la planchette est enfilée sur le boulon, une rondelle 13 en forme de croix, dont les bras s'emboitent entre les mèches de poils de manière à donner une fixa.tion sûre du dispositif, après son serrage en place au moyen du boulon.

comme limitée à la forme de réalisation représentée et décrite ci-dessus, puisque comme il est visible, son objet peut être modifié de diverses manières, dans le cadre des revendications ci-dessous.
Bien que la forme de réalisation décrite soit préfé- rable, il y a lieu de remarquer qu'on peut utili.ser deux ou plusieurs boulons, vis ou similaires, qui ne doivent pas néces- sairementpartir de la partie centrale de la pièce en forme de douille, mais peuvent aussi bien, par exemple, être passés au travers de la bride; au surplus lorsqu'un boulon central est @ utilisé, sa tête peut être soudée sur la partie centrale du disque et dans ce cas,l'extrémité filetée du boulon traverse la planchette de la brosse et un écrou est utilisé pour fixer le dispositif d'attache sur le balai ou la brosse elle-même.

The present invention relates to an attachment device for brushes or brooms which comprise a board on which the bristles are fixed. The device for attaching the handle shown in the drawing and essentially intended for a piassava brush, comprises a metal part 1 in the form of a socket, consisting of a tubular part 2 preferably tapering somewhat downwards. At its upper part, the tubular part 2 carries a collar or stiffening bead 3 and in the wall of the tubular part are provided holes for inserting screws 4 for fixing a handle 5, engaged in the tubular part.
The lower part of the tubular part 2 is cut at an oblique angle and welded to the middle part of a disc 6, the flat surface of which thus forms an oblique angle with the axis of the tubular part 2. The disc 6 has a diameter larger than the lower end of the tubular part, so that it forms around this lower end, an oblique flange bearing on the upper face of the board 7 of the brush and provided with a certain number of projections 8 penetrating into the board when the socket-shaped piece is clamped thereon.
In addition to the flange and its protrusions, the socket-shaped piece is attached to the planchet by means of a circular protuberance 9 welded to the underside of the disc, and starting from the center of the latter to s' fit into the board 7 of the brush. In the center of the disc 6 and of the downwardly extending protuberance 9, there is provided a threaded orifice 10 to receive the threaded end of a bolt 11 conditioned to be introduced from below, through a concentric opening 12. at orifice 10 and made right through through the board 7.
Between the head of the bolt and the lower face of the board is threaded on the bolt, a washer 13 in the shape of a cross, the arms of which fit between the strands of bristles so as to give a secure fixing of the device, after tightening it in place by means of the bolt.
