Dans la fig. 3, L10 L11 sont les bornes d'entrée de courant;
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

Device for the automatic switching on and off of electric current.
----------------------
The present invention relates to a device for the automatic switching on and off of electric current.
The main characteristic of the invention consists in that a voltmeter coil always remains interposed between the contacts for switching on and off the current when the latter are open and, on the contrary, remains shunted or off, circuit when these contacts close.
To facilitate understanding of the invention, it is described in detail below with the aid of embodiments shown by way of example only in the accompanying drawing, in which:
Fig. 1 shows an electrical connection in principle, which is common to all the apparatus according to the invention.
Fig. 2 shows the inapplicability of the connection of FIG. 1 to a maximum load switch.
Fig. 3 shows the application of the connection of FIG. 1 to a minimum load switch.
Fig. 4 shows the realization of a cut command

minimum rant for industrial use.
Fig. 5 and fig. 6 show embodiments of two maximum current controls for industrial use.
Fig. 7 is a view of the apparatus which makes the connections of FIGS. 2 and 3.
Fig. 8 is a front view of the apparatus of FIG. 7.
Fig. 9 is a plan of this apparatus.
Fig. 10 is a perspective view of this apparatus.
Referring to the figures in the drawing:
In fig. 1, L L 'are the current input terminals; 2 is the moving contact controlled by the core 5, actuated by the voltmeter coil 1 which, excited by the current requested by the terminals L3 L2, keeps the contact 2 away from the contact 3.
In fig. 2, L4 L5 are the current input terminals; 2 'is the moving contact controlled by the core 5' actuated by the amperometric coil 6 which, for a given load at the terminals L6 L7, releases the moving contact 2 'from the fixed contact 3', while the voltmetric coil 1 ' keeps contacts 2 'and 3' open until reduction or cessation of the load requested by terminals L6 il 7
In fig. 3, L10 L11 are the current input terminals;
2 "is a moving contact controlled by the core 5", which is released in the presence of minimum current or current, by the amperometric coil 6 "which moves the moving contact 2" away from the fixed contact 3 "by switching on the voltmeter coil 1 "which is ready to close it when the load at the user terminals L8 L9 increases again.
It emerges from the description of FIGS. 1, 2 and 3 that the contacts 2, 2 ', 2 "and 3, 3', 3" are closed - by the voltmeter coil 1, 1 ', 1 "which is switched on when open, while 'on the contrary this coil is put
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
off as soon as they close.
This results in the advantage of making the control which, according to FIGS. 1, 2 and 3, is placed upstream of the use terminals, capable of movement not only to automatically switch off the current in the event of a maximum minimum demand via terminals L2 L3, L6 L7, L8 L9, but also maximum or minimum by terminals L @ L @, L @ L @, L @ L @, but also able to automatically execute a movement opposite to that mentioned as soon as the current demand at the terminals has reached a predetermined value.
Fig. 4 shows a control connection for industrial use intended for opening the circuit in the presence of a minimum current, which comprises a remote switch 20 served by a momentary excitation coil 21, while the current coils 22 and 23 and the voltmeter coils 24, 25, 26 are mechanically connected to a switching contact 27.
Fig. 5 shows a control connection for industrial use intended for opening a circuit in the presence of a maximum current, which comprises a contact 12 supplying the coil 13 of the switch 7 open in the presence of a maximum current at the terminals L21, L22, L23 via the amperometric coils 10, 11 and which remains open by the action of the voltmeter coils 14, 15, 16 until the load at the terminals is reduced or even down to zero. At this point, the voltmeter coils 14, 15, 16 allow the contact 12 to restore current to the coil 13 of the switch 7 which, in this way, closes.
Fig. 6 'further shows a maximum current interruption control connection with the. variant that the amperometric windings 9 and 30 and the voltmeter windings 31, 32, 33 are independent and each control a contact which interrupts the supply of the coil 28 which produces cover of the switch 29 and the con-
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
tacts controlled by the voltmeter coils 31, 32, 33 which keep it open even when the contact controlled by the current coils 9, 30 has closed, thus keeping the switch also open as long as the load at the terminals of use 27, 28, 29 has not fallen to a predetermined minimum or to zero and, in this case, the voltmeter coils 31, 32,
33 allow the re-closing of the supply contacts of the coil 28, which produces the re-closing of the switch 29.
Figs. 7, 8, 9 and 10 are views respectively in section, front elevation, plan and perspective of an apparatus produced according to the principles of the invention. The references designate the same elements as in the diagrams of FIGS.
1 and 2.
The invention having been described only by way of explanation and in no way limiting, it is obvious that numerous modifications can be made to the details without departing from its scope.
