AXE D'ACCOUPLEMENT REGLABLE EN LONGUEUR.
La présente invention a pour objet un système perfectionné de montage de pièces côte à côte sur un axe, avec tolérance d'ajustage prédéterminée.-
Ce système permet le rattrapage éventuel de jeu entre les diverses pièces constitutives de 1'assemblage.-
Le dispositif conçu dans le but précité, comporte un axe dont' la longueur utile est rendue variable par le déplacement d'une vis concentrique à cet axe et dont l'une ou l'autre extrémité sert de butée d'appui.-
Ce dispositif,ainsi décrit, est d'application pratique immédiate au montage des crosses ou béquilles de portes en bois, métalliques ou autres, avec ou sans serrure ou verrou.
Il peut, d'autre part, trouver des applications dans différents domaines de la construction mécanique.-
Il remédie aux inconvénients inhérents à la majorité des systèmes existants de fixation de crosses par goupillage en des endroits fixes du fait de le. construction même de ]'axe.-

Tout en permettant le règlage précis au moment même du montage sans le concours d'outils ou de main-d'oeuvre spécialisée, il diffère d'autres systèmes comparables, par la faculté de modifier ce règlage suivant les besoins. -
La disposition suivante est adoptée :
Au voisinage de l'une des extrémités de l'axe à section quelconque solidarisant les crosses ou béquilles, une oeillère allongée est créée dont le but est de permettre le passage de la goupille de fixation de cette crosse ou béquille,-
A la même extrémité et concentriquement à cet axe, une vis filetée obture à volonté cette oeillère jusqu'à situer exactement l'endroit optimum du passage de la goupille.-
En affectant la tête de la vis d'une forme à section correspondante au trou de la crosse ou béquille, cette dernière sert à la mise en positiondéfinitive de la dite vis sans recourir à aucun outil et l'ensemble étant goupillé, cette vis est verrouillée par la crosse ou béquille même :
aucun déréglage spontané ne pouvant dorénavant se produire.-
Dans le cas d'axe à section circulaire, la tête de la vis est moletée ou rainurée pour l'emploi d'un tourne-vis : ce cas est exceptionnel.-
La description qui va suivre en regard du dessin annexé, donné à titre exemplatif, fera bien comprendre le mode de réalisation de l'invention.-

The present invention relates to an improved system for mounting parts side by side on an axis, with predetermined adjustment tolerance.
This system makes it possible to take up any play between the various constituent parts of the assembly.
The device designed for the aforementioned purpose comprises an axis whose useful length is made variable by the displacement of a screw concentric with this axis and one or the other end of which serves as a support stop.
This device, thus described, is of immediate practical application to the assembly of the sticks or handles of wooden, metal or other doors, with or without a lock or bolt.
On the other hand, it can find applications in different fields of mechanical construction.
It overcomes the drawbacks inherent in the majority of existing systems for fixing brackets by pinning in fixed places due to the. very construction of] 'axe.-

While allowing precise adjustment at the time of assembly without the help of tools or specialized labor, it differs from other comparable systems, by the ability to modify this adjustment as required. -
The following provision is adopted:
In the vicinity of one of the ends of the axis of any section securing the sticks or crutches, an elongated eye cup is created, the purpose of which is to allow the passage of the fixing pin of this stick or crutch, -
At the same end and concentrically with this axis, a threaded screw closes this eyecup at will until the optimum location of the passage of the pin is located.
By assigning the head of the screw to a shape with a section corresponding to the hole in the butt or crutch, the latter is used to put the said screw into final position without using any tools and the assembly being pinned, this screw is locked. by the butt or crutch itself:
no spontaneous maladjustment can henceforth occur.
In the case of an axis with a circular section, the head of the screw is knurled or grooved for the use of a screwdriver: this case is exceptional.
The description which will follow with reference to the appended drawing, given by way of example, will make the embodiment of the invention clearly understood.
