Electric fly killer.
The present invention relates to an electric device for killing flies, cousins and other flying insects, which device is characterized by the fact that two rows of individually altered electric conductor wires are arranged side by side, the wires of each row constituting a continuous conductor, the two conductors being one at the positive pole and the other at the negative, being arranged in a frame or on a suitably shaped armature which can be provided in front of a source of light so as to be able to constitute a trap for the flying insects which, attracted by the light of which it,% are separated by the said threads, and, seeking to reach it,
come to rest at the same time on two contiguous wires thus producing by their body an electric short-circuit which is sufficient to strike them down,
The invention is particularly aimed at a safe arrangement of said wires such as a cage which can be very easily fitted on any ordinary electric pump; first

by separating the two additional parts constituting the cage and then bringing them together.
The invention relates to yet another arrangement consisting of a cylinder formed by said wires in the arrangement described, and serving as an assembly element, for the two reflectors, one of which is placed in the usual way on the socket. of an ordinary electric lamp and the other is in an inverted position below the first reflector. in the accompanying drawings:
Figures 1 and 2 show a side and front view of a frame in which the positive and negative conductors are stretched, in front of an electric bulb catch.
Figures 3 and 4 show an arrangement in the form of a cage in two parts assembled by a hinge which can be opened (fig. 3) and closed (fig. 4) by tilting these parts.
Fig. 5 shows the object of the freezes. 1 and 2 for faoe without light bulb and with electrical connection to the network.
Fig. 6 shows an armature of the conductive wires in cylindrical shape, which is placed between a reflector 10 and a reflector 11.
With reference to these figures: 1 is a frame over which are stretched two series of alternating conductor wires, one series a, a ... is connected to the positive pole and the other series b, b ... is connected to the negative pole of the electricity network or to another suitable source of electric current; the wires of one series being spaced apart and suitably insulated from those of the other series,
In the embodiment shown in fig. 1 and 2 behind the frame 1 is attached the arm 2 provided with a socket @ carrying the lamp 3. which lamp is enclosed in the diffuser globe 13.
This frame can be placed in front of a
