Désurchauffeur de vapeur
La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de désurchauffage de vapeur dont lu. particularité ssenzielle consiste en ce que le désurchauffage est exécuté en engen- drant dans un générateurauxiliarie ,au moyen de 1- vapeur primaire agissant par surface comme fluide chauffant,une vapeur secondaire produite sous une pression supérieure à celle de la vapeur à dsurchauffer et telle que sa tempe- rature de saturation soit ,:gale à la température finale désirée de 1-. vapeur désurchauffée ou en soit voisine,cette opération ayant lieu d'après le principe des contre-courants;

<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

Steam desuperheater
The present invention relates to a process for the desuperheating of steam which read. ssenzielle peculiarity consists in that the desuperheating is carried out by generating in an auxiliary generator, by means of 1 - primary vapor acting by surface as heating fluid, a secondary vapor produced under a pressure higher than that of the vapor to be supercharged and such that its saturation temperature is: equal to the desired final temperature of 1-. desuperheated steam or nearby, this operation taking place according to the principle of counter-currents;
the secondary steam is then mixed with the desuperheated primary steam,
The desuperheating is adjusted by means of a thermostat arranged on the pipe containing the steam mixture and which acts on the passage section of the secondary steam at its outlet from the auxiliary generator.

The description which will follow, with reference to the appended drawing, given by way of example, will make it clear how the invention can be implemented.
The single figure is the diagram of an apparatus according to the invention.
The apparatus consists essentially of a boiler 1 containing a heating element 2, for example a coil or a tube bundle, crossed by the primary steam which arrives there in the superheated state through the pipe 3 and leaves it desuperheated through the pipe. 4, after giving up some of its heat to vaporize a :; part of the water contained in the boiler 1.
The feed water for boiler 1 arrives through line 5 and the secondary steam generated leaves through line 6 connected to line 4 for the outlet of the desuperheated primary steam.
Beyond their confluence, these two pipes are extended by a pipe 7 in which a thermostat 8 is mounted.
This thermostat 8, by means of a connection indicated schematically by the dotted line 9, acts on a valve 10 interposed in the pipe 6 in the vicinity of the outlet of the boiler; when the temperature of the steam in line 7 tends to exceed the upper limit that has been assigned, the thermostat increases the opening (the valve, thus reducing the pressure in boiler 1 and the corresponding saturation temperature and vice versa.
The water level in the boiler 1 will be adjusted as a function of the flow rate by any known means.
It goes without saying that modifications of detail could be made to the apparatus which has just been described without departing from the scope of the invention.

In particular, a superheater for the secondary steam can be inserted between the boiler 1 and the valve 10, and this superheater can be heated by the primary steam before it enters the boiler 1.
