La présente invention est relative à un procédé de fabrication de moyens de nettoyage à base de phosphates alcalins à réaction alcaline, plus particulièrement de phosphate trial- calin, et consiste en ce que du phosphate alcalin solide à réaction alcaline, en premier lieu du phosphate trisodique, est mélange avec de l'acide silicique colloïdal. De ce mélange on fait, par solution dans de l'eau chaude, un moyen de nettoyage qui ne corrode pas l'aluminium, l'étain ou les alliages de ces métaux.
L'action de nettoyage connue de phosphates alcalins à réaction alcaline, plus particulièrement du phosphate trisodique, ne peut pas être utilisée dans tous les cas. Des solutions de phosphate trisodique corrodent plus particulièrement l'aluminium l'étain ou les alliages de ces métaux d'une manière relativement

Il a été maintenant trouvé que cette corrosion de l'aluminium, de l'étain ou alliages de ces métaux lorsqu'on les traite avec des solutions de moyens de nettoyage qui sont fabri- qués à base de phosphate trisodique, est évitée lorsqu'on ajoute au phosphate trisodique de l'acide silicique colloïdal, plus particulièrement de l'acide silicique sous forme sèche, le mélange obtenu de cette manière étant dissous dans de l'eau chaude. Si on emploie par exemple des solutions à 5% de ces mélanges à l'état chaud pour le nettoyage d'ustensiles en alu- minium, étain ou leurs alliages, il n'y a plus de corrosion de ces métaux. L'action détergente du phosphate trisodique n'est cependant pas diminuée par l'addition de l'acide silicique col- loïdal.
Exemple : 90 kg. de phosphate trisodique cristallisé sont mélan- ces à l'état sec avec 10 kg. de gel silicique. On obtient une pou- dre qui coule facilement et qui se laisse dissoudre facilement dans de l'eau chaude.

Example: 90 kg. of crystallized trisodium phosphate are mixed in the dry state with 10 kg. of silicic gel. A powder is obtained which flows easily and which is easily dissolved in hot water.
