<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

"Self-closing valve for any gaseous or liquid fluid, compressible or not".
The present invention aims to provide a self-closing valve for any gaseous or liquid fluid.
This tap is made in a very simple way. Two pistons of different section immersed in the gaseous or liquid fluid are each secured to a lever arm; the fluid therefore tends, exerting a greater pressure on the piston of larger section, to raise this piston and to lower the piston of smaller section. This piston of smaller section bou. che an opening through which the fluid, liquid or gas, must flow.
If we want to use the valve, we must exert an action in some way on a lever for example adapted on the btas carrying the piston of larger section,
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
in such a way as to lift the other / arm carrying the pedestrian of smaller section which will detach from his seat and give way to gaseous or liquid fluid. The closing of this valve is therefore automatic. This tap is also perfectly adjustable. It can, in addition, adapt in any position to any conduct.
Until now, all ordinary faucets were subject to multiple repairs, in particular replacement leathers, and in addition were often out of adjustment by the successive and alternative and often excessive forces exerted on its thread and therefore no longer constituted a tight seal
The present invention overcomes all these drawbacks, achieves a certain automatic closing, avoids costly repairs and, by its robust and simple mechanism, prevents maladjustment.
Moreover, the invention will be described in detail below, with reference to the single figure of the appended drawing, which represents, by way of purely indicative and non-limiting example, a section of the valve according to the invention. .,
Referring to this figure, 1 represents the general fluid pipe, gaseous or liquid, on which is fitted: the tube 2 which carries at right angles a piece of tube 3, these two tubes forming the body of the valve properly said.
4 shows the large section piston moving in a cylindrical body 5 fitted on the tube 2. The piston 4 is. made integral with the lever arm 7 by means of rods 6, this lever 7 rotating around the pivot 8.
1 the other end of this lever is a rod 9 integral with the piston 10, of section smaller than the piston 4, blocking the tube 3. This piston 10 can move in a cylindrical body 11 adapted to the tube 2 . 16, 17, 18 and 19 are articulations so that the pistons 4 and 10 can without deforming move in the cylindrical bodies 5 and 11, without exerting
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
point of lateral forces on said cylindrical bodies.
14 is an arm integral with the lever and on which is exerted a thrust necessary for the opening of the valve, that is to say for the lowering of the piston 4 and for the lifting of the piston 10. The valve is held in position. opening by means of a device 15 which may be a rack or any other stop system.
As emerges from the above description, the closing of the valve is therefore automatic and adjustable, since the pressure on the piston 5 being greater than that exerted on the piston 10, the lever always tends to tilt, so so that the piston 10 is held on its seat by its conical body. : Oven open the tap, it is necessary to exert an additional push on the arm 14, so that the lever tilting in the other direction, lowers the piston 4 and lifts the piston 10.
The invention is not however limited to the single embodiment described above, but may include certain modifications, without thereby departing from the principle of the present inventions.
