L'objet de la présente invention consiste en un sous- vêtement en tricot ou tissu, ayant la forme d'un boyau, dont le bord inférieur est chancre de façon à former des pattes qui sont renforcées par des bandes s'étendant, au moins, depuis l'ex- trémité libre des pattes jusqu'au bord supérieur du vêtement et dont les parties inférieues, se confondant avec les pattes, sont appropriées pour y boutonner ou attacher les jarretelles des bas à des hauteurs variables.

Le sous-vêtement suivant la fig. 1 se compose d'un corps tricoté en forme de boyau, dont le bord inférieur est façonne de manière à former quatre pattes 3. Au corps 1 du vêtement sont appliquées les bandes de renforcement 4, qui sont également tri- cotées ou tissées et vont d'abord des extrémitées libres des dites pattes jusqu'au bord supérieur du sous-vêtement et ensuite jusqu'à former les bretelles de celui-ci. Dans la partie infé- rieure de chaque bande, comme aussi dans la patte sous-jacente, sont brodées,à des intervalles réguliers, les boutonnières 5 servant à y attacher les jarretelles 6 des bas à la hauteur vou- lue.

Les échancrures situées entre les pattes 3, à la partie inférieure du sous-vêtement 1, n'ont pas la même hauteur; car celle de derrière 7 est un peu plus haute que celle de devant 8. ensuite, l'échancrure ? est sous-tendue par un élastique ou ru- ban en caoutchouc 10, dont'les extrémités sont fixées aux pattes voisines, afin de permettre à cette partie de la combinaison de s'élargir lorsque, par exemple, on est assis, et de se rétrécir aussitôt qu'on se lève ou qu'on se met à marcher. Cependant ce ruban élastique n'est pas indispensable et peut être supprimé : au besoin.
Les deux échancrures latérales 9, qui dans cette première forme d'exécution sont un peu plus hautes que celle de devant 8, peuvent également être plus basses. ensuite, au lieu de servir de bretelles,les bandes de renforcement peuvent être arrêtées au bord supérieur du sous- vêtement, en faisant usage de bretelles spéciales.
Le sous-vêtement suivant la fig. 2 ne diffère de celui de la fig. 1 qu'en ce qu'il est pourvu de bretelles 2,sur les- quelles se prolongent les bandes de renforcement 4. Si celles- ci sont également tricotées ou tissées et qu'elles forment cou- lisse, on peut y insérer un élastique, par exemple un ruban en caoutchouc, afin de donner aux dites bretelles une certaine élas- ticité.
Le sous- vêtement ainsi combiné peut servir de corsage, ou bien il peut être porté à la place d'une chemise. En mène temps, il servira comme soutien du buste. Les bandes de renforce- ment 4 ont pour but de recevoir la traction exercée par les jarretelles des bas et d'empêcher ainsi que le corsage 1 et les pattes 3 ne soient soumis à des allongements exagérés. La con- fection du sous-vêtement peut avoir lieu d'après les modes et procédés usuels de tricotage et de tissage.

The undergarment according to fig. 1 consists of a knitted body in the form of a gut, the lower edge of which is shaped so as to form four tabs 3. To the body 1 of the garment are applied the reinforcement bands 4, which are also knitted or woven and go first of all the free ends of said legs to the upper edge of the undergarment and then to form the straps thereof. In the lower part of each band, as also in the underlying placket, are embroidered, at regular intervals, the buttonholes 5 serving to attach the garters 6 of the stockings to it at the desired height.
