Dergelijke matrassen zijn dan ook vrij dik (typisch wordt 18 cm dikke matrassen gebruikt, hoewel afwijkende diktes kunnen voorkomen en waarvoor de uitvinding van dit document ook een oplossing kan bieden, desnoods met lichte aanpassingen), en zorgen daarom voor moeilijkheden bij het opbergen.
