Description
<EMI ID=1.1>
Description

Process for providing daily human needs for CALCIUM (Ca), VITAMIN "D" and VITAMIN "K" as a chewable or swallowing pill.
The present invention relates to the provision of the daily requirements of CALCIUM VITAMIN "D" and VITAMIN "K" in the form of pill, tablet, candy, cachet, capsule, or capsule, to swallow or chew, which can also be coated with a smooth and impervious coating to allow them to be swallowed easily.
This combination of CALCIUM, VITAMIN "D" and vitamin "K" does not exist in any form, neither solid nor liquid. This invention combines Calcium, Vitamin D and Vitamin K in a small pill coated with a smooth, impermeable coating that allows it to be swallowed easily. This pill would replace: Chalky and chalky liquid preparations, or chalky chewable tablets and oily preparations for vitamin "D" and vitamin "K" which are fat soluble.
The enrichment in Calcium (Ca) is done by Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) or Lactate
<EMI ID = 1.1>
40% of the weight of the human skeleton is composed of calcium, 99% of the calcium found in the human body is stored in the bones and teeth, the remaining 1% is in the blood and tissues. This free calcium found in the blood allows the blood to clot, the muscles to contract and the nerves to function properly and transmit the messages. Bones are living organs in which calcium stores are stored.
The relationship of the bones with the rest of the body is dynamic, which means that when the amount of calcium in the blood, muscles and nerves decreases, these organs will seek calcium in the bones, this phenomenon is called the "resorption" and when the calcium is replaced by the food it will return to the bones, this phenomenon is called the
"training". The "resorption" is the weakening of the bones and the "formation" is the reconstruction of the bones. If calcium intake is insufficient, resorption would continue and have catastrophic effects on the skeleton.
The calcium requirements of the human being are estimated at 1000 to 1200 mg per day, equivalent to four large glasses of milk. It is in his diet and especially in dairy products that the person will find the calcium that is necessary, something that is not possible especially in older people suffering from hypercholesterolemia.
Vitamin D (called antirachitic) is produced in the body by exposure of the skin to the sun. In order for the body to produce enough vitamin D to assimilate the calcium it has been drawing from food, at least the arms and legs should be exposed to the sun for a few long minutes a day, something that can not be done. to be done in cold countries, which also have little sunshine. As a result, without the presence of vitamin D, the calcium that the person sought in his food can only be partially assimilated. Calcium alone, even if it is consumed by humans in large quantities, without vitamin D, can not be absorbed or used by the body. A deficiency in vitamin D will have harmful effects: the bones will be weakened and weakened.
Vitamin "K" (so-called anti-haemorrhagic) not only protects the integrity of the skeleton, but is necessary for calcium ossification and for the formation of healthy bones.
CALCIUM is found in pharmacy in its mineral form, powdery or granular dry, against, vitamin D and vitamin K being fat-soluble, (soluble in fat) they are in pharmacy in oily form. The mixture of calcium and vitamin D without vitamin K already exists in the form of very unpleasant preparations to consume. Mixing these products in their natural state would result in oily limestone mud, disgusting for the consumer.
On the contrary a mixture of calcium carbonate or lactate, enriched with vitamin "D" and vitamin "K" forming part of a small pill, a tablet of a dragee, a cachet or a hard capsule a smooth and waterproof coating can be easily consumed. Two to three pills, enriched with calcium, vitamin D and vitamin K a day, are enough to cover all the needs of the human being, to optimize the formation of bone and solid teeth in the child, as well as to cover, without danger, all the needs of the pregnant woman, who increase by 50% during the pregnancy and the period of the breastfeeding. As well as to protect people, especially women over 50 years old against calcium loss and osteoporosis, which is a very serious disease.
Physiologically in humans, the bone mass is maximal at the age of 30 years.
From this age, the annual loss is 0.5%. At menopause, the loss accelerates for about ten years and can reach 2%. At 80 years the woman has lost more than half of her bone capital, in men this loss is more progressive.
Osteoporosis has reached epidemic proportions worldwide, in some European countries, beyond the age of 50, one in three women and one in eight suffer from this disease. Osteoporosis, "the silent thief of bone calcium" is called because except for vertebral collapse, bone loss occurs without pain and without obvious signs. Often, the diagnosis of the disease is only after a femur fracture, painful and disabling.
In the European Union osteoporosis is a major public health problem, the cost is several billion euros per year, and the problem is only getting worse with the doubling of the population over 60 years .
