Abstract

The protection is an inflatable device which is made from a strong plastic material (PVC) and comprises three separately inflatable parts. Hook and loop fastener bands are used to secure the device to the bars of the trolley. The inflated device is placed around the child so that it protects the child on the left, right and back sides.

   De Inflatable Plastic Safe Shopper (IPSS) zal worden gebruikt als extra bescherming tijdens transport van kleine kinderen in de ijzeren zitjes van de winkelwagentjes en dit vooral in grootwarenhuizen. 



   Het concept is eenvoudig. De construktie wordt opgeblazen op drie punten en zal gemaakt worden van sterk materiaal uit plastic of PVC. De bevestiging aan het ijzeren zitje in het winkelwagentje gebeurd met Velcrobandjes, die via de staven van het ijzeren zitje van de winkelwagen aan de construktie worden vastgemaakt. De Velcrobandjes zitten voor een gedeelte vast aan de construktie. 



  De opblaasbare construktie wordt rond het kind gezet en wanneer het naar voor, links of rechts mocht vallen, zal de opblaasbare constuktie die zich tussen het kind en het ijzeren karretje en zitje bevind de kleine schok opvangen. De IPSS zal er voor zorgen dat het kind zich minder pijn zal doen dan wanneer het zonder het concept naar voor of opzij zou vallen. Het concept is dus geen garantie voor opvangen van serieuze ongevallen tijdens het winkelen, zoals bv omvallen van het winkelwagentje. 



  Deze uitvinding geeft een meerwaarde als extra bescherming en het gebruik ervan is veiliger dan het gewoon vervoer van de kinderen zonder het opblaasbaar concept in de ijzeren wagentjes. Ongevallen die zich met winkelwagentjes voordoen tijdens het gebruik van dit concept, vallen niet onder de verantwoordelijkheid van het gebruik van de opblaasconstructie, maar dienen gezocht in het correct gebruik van zulke wagentjes door de klanten die de winkel bezoeken.

   The Inflatable Plastic Safe Shopper (IPSS) will be used as extra protection during transport of small children in the iron seats of the shopping carts and this especially in department stores.



   The concept is simple. The structure will be inflated at three points and will be made from strong plastic or PVC material. The attachment to the iron seat in the shopping cart is done with Velcro straps, which are attached to the structure via the bars of the iron seat of the shopping cart. The Velcro bands are partially attached to the construction.



  The inflatable construction is placed around the child and if it should fall to the front, left or right, the inflatable construction between the child and the iron cart and seat will absorb the small shock. The IPSS will ensure that the child will be hurt less than if it would fall forwards or sideways without the concept. The concept is therefore not a guarantee for dealing with serious accidents while shopping, such as the shopping cart falling over.
