  Element voor het opslaan, verhandelen en transporteren van voorwerpen. 



  De huidige uitvinding heeft betrekking op een element voor het opslaan, verhandelen en transporteren van voorwerpen. 



  De uitvinding heeft meer in het bijzonder betrekking op een element voor het opslaan, verhandelen en transporteren van breekbare of gemakkelijk te beschadigen hoofdzakelijk kleine vlakke voorwerpen, zoals platen, tabletten, tegels en dergelijke in om het even welke materialen, zoals natuursteen, keramiek, enz. 



  Het is bekend dat zulke voorwerpen voor het opslaan, verhandelen en transporteren op elkaar of los tegen elkaar worden gestapeld in kisten of dozen, op paletten of dergelijke. 



  Een nadeel hiervan is dat de voorwerpen die op deze manier gestapeld zijn, betrekkelijk kwetsbaar zijn voor schokken die tijdens het transport of het verhandelen kunnen optreden en ook kwetsbaar zijn voor krassen die door het over elkaar schuiven van de voorwerpen kunnen voorkomen. 



  Hoe verder de voorwerpen zich onderaan in de stapel bevinden, hoe kwetsbaarder en/of breekbaarder ze zijn, aangezien zij het gewicht moeten dragen van de bovenliggende stapel voorwerpen.

 Ook wanneer tussen de voorwerpen harde deeltjes aanwezig zijn, zoals bijvoorbeeld zandkorrels of deeltjes die van de voorwerpen zelf afgebroken zijn, is het schaderisico bijzonder groot. 



  Het is bekend dat het risico van schade ten gevolge van schokken of van het over elkaar schuiven van de voorwerpen kan worden beperkt door de voorwerpen zorgvuldig te verpakken met samendrukbaar materiaal om de schokken grotendeels op te vangen en door de voorwerpen stevig vast te maken. 



  Dit impliceert echter een aanzienlijke meerprijs met betrekking tot verpakkingsmateriaal en werkuren, wat uiteraard de kostprijs van de voorwerpen doet toenemen. 



  Een ander belangrijk nadeel is dat, om een voorwerp te recupereren dat zich ergens in het midden of onderin de stapel bevindt, eerst alle bovenliggende voorwerpen moeten worden verwijderd, waardoor niet alleen veel tijd verloren gaat, maar waardoor ook de kans bestaat dat de voorwerpen die dienen weggenomen te worden hierbij beschadigd worden. 



  De huidige uitvinding heeft tot doel aan de voornoemde en andere nadelen een oplossing te bieden. 



  Hiertoe betreft de uitvinding een element dat voornamelijk gevormd is door een hoofdzakelijk horizontale basis waarop een opwaarts gerichte steun is aangebracht.

 Zulk element volgens de uitvinding maakt het mogelijk voorwerpen met een hoofdzakelijk vlakke vorm rechtop op hun rand tegen elkaar op de basis te plaatsen en de voorwerpen in deze stand tegen de voornoemde steun en tegen elkaar te laten rusten, eventueel met de tussenplaatsing van een beschermmateriaal. 



  Dit biedt het voordeel dat de, op deze manier gestapelde voorwerpen, minder gevoelig zijn voor schokken, onder meer door het feit dat ieder gestapeld voorwerp in hoofdzaak slechts zijn eigen gewicht moet dragen en dat zij ook minder gemakkelijk over elkaar kunnen schuiven, waardoor ook geen, of minder verpakkingsmateriaal nodig is om de voorwerpen te beschermen. 



  Een ander voordeel is dat de voorwerpen gemakkelijker individueel uitgenomen worden zonder dat daarbij eerst andere voorwerpen uit het geheel moeten worden verwijderd. 



  Bij voorkeur zullen de afmetingen van de basis overeenkomen met de traditionele afmetingen van palletten, zodat optimaal gebruik kan worden gemaakt van gestandaardiseerde stapelrekken en verhandelings- en transportmiddelen. 



  In een voorkeurdragende uitvoeringsvorm zijn de elementen zodanig geconfigureerd dat zij op elkaar gestapeld kunnen worden en daarbij op een plaatsbesparende wijze in elkaar passen. 



  Met het inzicht de kenmerken van de uitvinding beter aan te tonen, zijn hierna, als voorbeeld zonder enig beperkend

 karakter, enkele voorkeurdragende uitvoeringsvormen beschreven van een element volgens de uitvinding, met verwijzing naar de bijgaande tekeningen,   waarin :

1, doch in geladen toestand; figuur 3 een zicht weergeeft van opeengestapelde lege elementen volgens de uitvinding; figuur 4 een variante weergeeft van figuur 1; figuren 5,6 en 7 zichten weergeven respectievelijk volgens de pijlen F5, F6 en F7 in figuur 4. 



   Het element, zoals weergegeven in de figuren 1 tot 3, is in hoofdzaak gevormd door een plaatvormige vlakke basis 1 waarop een centrale, opwaarts gerichte, steun 2 is aangebracht. 



   De basis 1 bezit een rechthoekig grondvlak; verticale zijwanden 3-4-5-6; en aan de bovenzijde twee vlakken 7-8 die vanaf de twee tegenover elkaar liggende wanden 4-6 naar het midden van de basis afhellen, zodat de hoogte van de basis afneemt naar het midden toe. 



   De afmetingen van het grondvlak stemmen bij voorkeur overeen met de afmetingen van een standaardpalet, namelijk een breedte van 80 cm en een lengte van 120 cm. 



   De steun 2 bevindt zich centraal tussen de voornoemde afhellende vlakken 7-8 en wordt begrensd door twee schuine

 zijwanden 9-10 die bovenaan met elkaar verbonden zijn door een vlakgedeelte 11. 



   De centrale steun 2 is evenwijdig aan de bovenranden 12-13 van de vlakken 7-8. 



   In het grondvlak van de basis is centraal onder de steun 2 een uitsparing 14 voorzien die begrensd is door twee hellende vlakken 15-16 en een derde vlak 17 dat deze vlakken 15-16 met elkaar verbindt. 



   Bij voorkeur zijn in de basis 1 in de lengterichting twee evenwijdige doorgangen 18 en in de breedterichting twee evenwijdige doorgangen 19 voorzien. 



   Het gebruik van een element volgens de uitvinding is zeer eenvoudig en als volgt. 



  Vlakke voorwerpen 20 die moeten worden opgeslagen, verhandeld of getransporteerd, worden, zoals weergegeven in figuur 2, naast elkaar rechtop, op een rand op de vlakken   7-8'   en tegen de steun 2 van de basis 1 geplaatst, zodat ieder voorwerp 20, hetzij tegen de steun 2, hetzij tegen een aangrenzend voorwerp 20, is gelegen al dan niet met een beschermingslaag tussen de verschillende voorwerpen. 



   Een voorwerp 20 dat tussen andere voorwerpen 20 op een element volgens de uitvinding is opgeslagen, kan er op eenvoudige wijze tussenuit worden gehaald door de voorwerpen 20 aan de buitenzijde van het betreffende voorwerp 20 van de steun 2 weg te kantelen, waardoor het

 gewenste voorwerp 20 vrij komt en bijgevolg gemakkelijk kan worden weggenomen. 



  Een met voorwerpen 20 geladen element kan, desgevallend na het vastsjorren van de voorwerpen, zeer eenvoudig worden verplaatst en getransporteerd, bijvoorbeeld door middel van een vorkheftruck. 



  Hiertoe worden de vorken 21 van de vorkheftruck, zoals schematisch in streeplijn in figuur 2 is weergegeven, hetzij door de doorgangen 18, hetzij door de doorgangen 19, aangebracht, zodat het element kan worden opgetild en verplaatst. 



  Aangezien de voorwerpen 20 niet plat worden gestapeld, zoals gebruikelijk, maar wel rechtop, is er minder gevaar dat de voorwerpen 20 door schokken tijdens het transport zouden worden beschadigd. 



  In figuur 3 is weergegeven hoe een aantal elementen op elkaar gestapeld kunnen zijn. 



  Bij voorkeur is de centrale uitsparing 14 in het grondvlak van de basis 1 zodanig geconfigureerd dat deze uitsparing 14 precies over de top van de steun 2 van een onderliggend element past. 



  Op deze wijze kunnen lege elementen op een stabiele en plaatsbesparende manier op elkaar worden gestapeld.

 In de figuren 4 tot 7 is een variante van een element volgens figuur 1 weergegeven. 



  Het element is in dit geval gevormd door een aantal gelijkvormige verticale panelen, namelijk minstens twee zijpanelen 22 en desgevallend een aantal tussenpanelen 23, die onderling met elkaar verbonden zijn door middel van verbindingselementen 24, zoals latten of dergelijke, om een globale structuur te bekomen waarvan de vorm en de uitwendige afmetingen hoofdzakelijk gelijk zijn aan deze van de eerder beschreven uitvoeringsvorm. 



  De panelen 22-23 bevinden zich op tussenafstanden die groter zijn dan de breedte van vorken 21 van een vorkheftruck. 



  De panelen 22 en 23 zijn in dit geval uit één stuk vervaardigd en bestaan hoofdzakelijk uit, enerzijds, een horizontaal gedeelte 25 waarvan de hoogte afneemt vanaf de uiteinden naar het midden toe, en, anderzijds, een trapeziumvormig centraal gedeelte 26 dat smaller wordt naar boven toe. 



  In de onderste rand 27 van de panelen 22-23 is centraal onder het trapeziumvormig gedeelte 26 een trapeziumvormige uitsparing 28 voorzien waarvan de afmeting van de bovenrand 29 gelijk is aan de afmeting van de bovenrand 30 van het gedeelte 26 en waarvan de hellingshoek van de zijranden 31 en 32 van de uitsparing 28 gelijk is aan de hellingshoek vande zijranden 33, respectievelijk 34, van het gedeelte 26.

   In de onderste rand 27 van de panelen 22-23 zijn twee rechthoekige uitsparingen 35 voorzien waarvan de afmetingen groter zijn dan de afmetingen van de vorken 21 van een vorkheftruck. 



   Het- element wordt bij voorkeur vervaardigd uit een licht materiaal zoals hout, kunststof, of dergelijke. 



   Op elk zijpaneel 22 kan in dit geval bijkomend een versterkingsplaat 36, uit metaal of dergelijke, worden bevestigd, bijvoorbeeld door middel van schroeven 39, waarbij deze versterkingsplaat 36 voorzien is van twee rechthoekige doorgangen 37 voor de vorken 21 van een vorkheftruck en van een uitsparing 38 die gelijkvormig is aan een uitsparing 28, waarbij deze doorgangen 37, respectievelijk de uitsparing 28, zich tegenover de uitsparingen 35, respectievelijk 28, van het betreffende zijpaneel 22 bevinden. 



   Een element volgens de uitvinding met open structuur kan op dezelfde manier en met dezelfde voordelen worden aangewend als het eerder besproken element met gesloten structuur. 



   De voorwerpen 20 steunen in dit geval op de bovenranden 40 van de zijpanelen 22 en tussenpanelen 23. 



   Het is duidelijk dat zulk element met open structuur, naast de reeds genoemde voordelen, het bijkomend voordeel biedt dat het zeer licht en dus gemakkelijk hanteerbaar is.

 Bovendien kunnen voorwerpen die, bijvoorbeeld tijdens een productieproces, een natte behandeling of een verhitting hebben ondergaan, rechtstreeks op een element volgens de uivinding worden geladen om uit te lekken of af te koelen, zodat hiervoor geen speciale inrichting meer voor nodig is. 



  De huidige uitvinding is geenszins beperkt tot de als voorbeeld beschreven en in de figuren weergegeven uitvoeringsvormen, doch een element volgens de uitvinding kan in allerlei vormen en afmetingen worden verwezenlijkt zonder buiten het kader van de uitvinding te treden.

  The present invention relates to an element for storing, trading and transporting objects.



  The invention more particularly relates to an element for storing, trading and transporting fragile or easily damaged mainly small flat objects, such as plates, tablets, tiles and the like in any materials such as natural stone, ceramics, etc. .



  It is known that, for storing, trading and transporting, such articles are stacked on top of each other or loosely against each other in boxes or boxes, on pallets or the like.



  A disadvantage of this is that the objects stacked in this way are relatively vulnerable to shocks that may occur during transport or handling and are also vulnerable to scratches that can occur due to the objects sliding over each other.



  The farther the objects are at the bottom of the stack, the more fragile and / or brittle they are, since they must bear the weight of the stack of objects above.

 Even if hard particles are present between the objects, such as, for example, grains of sand or particles that have broken off from the objects themselves, the risk of damage is particularly high.



  It is known that the risk of damage due to shocks or sliding the objects over each other can be limited by carefully packing the objects with compressible material to largely absorb the shocks and by securely fixing the objects.



  However, this implies a considerable additional cost with regard to packaging material and working hours, which of course increases the cost price of the articles.



  Another important disadvantage is that, in order to recover an object that is somewhere in the middle or at the bottom of the stack, all the objects above have to be removed, so that not only much time is lost, but there is also the chance that the objects must be removed thereby being damaged.



  The present invention has for its object to provide a solution to the aforementioned and other disadvantages.



  To this end the invention relates to an element which is mainly formed by a substantially horizontal base on which an upwardly directed support is arranged.

 Such an element according to the invention makes it possible to place objects with a substantially flat shape upright on their edge against each other on the base and to let the objects rest in this position against the aforementioned support and against each other, possibly with the interposition of a protective material.



  This offers the advantage that the objects stacked in this way are less susceptible to shocks, inter alia due to the fact that each stacked object must essentially bear only its own weight and that they can also slide less easily over each other, so that no , or less packaging material is needed to protect the objects.



  Another advantage is that the objects are more easily removed individually without first having to remove other objects from the whole.



  The dimensions of the base will preferably correspond to the traditional dimensions of pallets, so that optimum use can be made of standardized stacking racks and handling and transport means.



  In a preferred embodiment, the elements are configured such that they can be stacked on top of one another and thereby fit together in a space-saving manner.

   The element, as shown in Figures 1 to 3, is essentially formed by a plate-shaped flat base 1 on which a central, upwardly directed support 2 is arranged.



   The base 1 has a rectangular base; vertical side walls 3-4-5-6; and at the top two planes 7-8 which slope from the two opposite walls 4-6 towards the center of the base, so that the height of the base decreases towards the center.



   The dimensions of the base surface preferably correspond to the dimensions of a standard palette, namely a width of 80 cm and a length of 120 cm.



   The support 2 is centrally located between the aforementioned sloping surfaces 7-8 and is bounded by two oblique ones

 side walls 9-10 connected to each other at the top by a flat portion 11.



   The central support 2 is parallel to the upper edges 12-13 of the surfaces 7-8.



   A recess 14 is provided centrally under the support 2 in the base surface of the base, which recess 14 is bounded by two inclined surfaces 15-16 and a third surface 17 connecting these surfaces 15-16 to each other.



   Preferably, two parallel passages 18 are provided in the base 1 in the longitudinal direction and two parallel passages 19 in the width direction.



   The use of an element according to the invention is very simple and as follows.



  Flat objects 20 to be stored, traded or transported are, as shown in Figure 2, placed side by side upright, on an edge on the surfaces 7-8 'and against the support 2 of the base 1, so that each object 20, either against the support 2 or against an adjacent object 20, whether or not with a protective layer between the different objects.



   An object 20 that is stored between other objects 20 on an element according to the invention can be removed in a simple manner by tilting the objects 20 on the outside of the relevant object 20 from the support 2, whereby the

 desired object 20 is released and can therefore be easily removed.



  An element loaded with objects 20, if necessary after lashing of the objects, can be moved and transported very easily, for example by means of a fork-lift truck.



  To this end, the forks 21 of the fork-lift truck, as shown schematically in dashed line in Figure 2, are arranged either through the passages 18 or through the passages 19, so that the element can be lifted and moved.



  Since the articles 20 are not stacked flat, as usual, but upright, there is less risk that the articles 20 would be damaged by shocks during transport.



  Figure 3 shows how a number of elements can be stacked on top of each other.



  The central recess 14 in the base surface of the base 1 is preferably configured such that this recess 14 fits precisely over the top of the support 2 of an underlying element.



  In this way, empty elements can be stacked on top of each other in a stable and space-saving manner.

 Figures 4 to 7 show a variant of an element according to Figure 1.



  The element is in this case formed by a number of uniform vertical panels, namely at least two side panels 22 and, if appropriate, a number of intermediate panels 23, which are mutually connected by means of connecting elements 24, such as slats or the like, to obtain a global structure of which the shape and external dimensions are substantially the same as those of the previously described embodiment.



  The panels 22-23 are located at intervals that are larger than the width of forks 21 of a forklift truck.



  The panels 22 and 23 are in this case manufactured in one piece and consist essentially of, on the one hand, a horizontal portion 25 whose height decreases from the ends towards the center, and, on the other hand, a trapezoidal central portion 26 that becomes narrower upwards to.



  In the lower edge 27 of the panels 22-23, a trapezoidal recess 28 is provided centrally below the trapezoidal portion 26, the dimension of the upper edge 29 of which is equal to the dimension of the upper edge 30 of the portion 26 and whose angle of inclination of the side edges 31 and 32 of the recess 28 is equal to the angle of inclination of the side edges 33, 34, respectively, of the portion 26.

   In the lower edge 27 of the panels 22-23 two rectangular recesses 35 are provided, the dimensions of which are larger than the dimensions of the forks 21 of a fork-lift truck.



   The element is preferably made from a light material such as wood, plastic, or the like.



   In this case an additional reinforcement plate 36, made of metal or the like, can also be attached to each side panel 22, for example by means of screws 39, this reinforcement plate 36 being provided with two rectangular passages 37 for the forks 21 of a fork-lift truck and with a recess 38 which is similar to a recess 28, wherein these passages 37, respectively the recess 28, are opposite the recesses 35 and 28, respectively, of the relevant side panel 22.



   An element according to the invention with an open structure can be used in the same way and with the same advantages as the previously discussed element with a closed structure.



   The objects 20 in this case rest on the upper edges 40 of the side panels 22 and intermediate panels 23.



   It is clear that such an element with an open structure, in addition to the advantages already mentioned, offers the additional advantage that it is very light and therefore easy to handle.

 Moreover, articles which have undergone a wet treatment or heating, for example during a production process, can be loaded directly onto an element according to the invention for draining or cooling, so that no special device is required for this anymore.



  The present invention is by no means limited to the embodiments described as examples and shown in the figures, but an element according to the invention can be realized in all shapes and dimensions without departing from the scope of the invention.

Claims

Conclusions. Element for storing, trading and transporting objects (20), characterized in that it is mainly formed from a horizontal base (1) on which an upwardly directed support (2) is arranged.

Element as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the base (1) has a rectangular base surface whose dimensions correspond to those of a standard palette, in other words that the dimensions of this base surface are substantially equal to 80 and 120 centimeters, respectively.

Element according to claim 2, characterized in that the base (1) is delimited at its top by two planes (7-8) extending from two opposite side walls (4-6) of the base (1) to the center from the base.

Element according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that in the longitudinal direction and / or in the width direction of the base (1) at least two parallel and substantially horizontal passages (18) - (19) for the forks (21) of a forklift are provided.
