Abstract

Improved pallet comprising various parallel beams provided at their upper and/or lower surfaces with one or a plurality of transverse or longitudinal guides on which are slidingly coupled the corresponding cross-members provided with complementary longitudinal or transverse guides; the beams and the cross-members present at the coupling regions holes wherein are introduced the corresponding fixing elements. At least the beams and the cross-members are made of recyclable or recycled plastic materials. Said pallets are used as loading platforms for the transportation of goods.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present specification refers, as its title indicates, to an improved pallet, of the type of ios used in the transport of materials or merchandise, and which are composed of several parallel stringers on which several crossbars are fixed perpendicularly, defining the set a platform suitable for being lifted and transported, together with the load, by means of a forklift.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

At present, most of the pallets used to transport materials or merchandise are made up of several wooden stringers, in charge of regulating the pallet, on which several boards are nailed, forming the pallet crossings and the support surface of the load.

Some of the problems presented by this type of pallets are, on the one hand, that their construction entails an important consumption of wood and on the other hand, due to their use or transport, it is common that some of the pallet crossings are break, being unusable for use, because it could not be properly loaded and would constitute a danger, as some of the remaining crossings could be broken, due to the greater effort they would support.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

To solve these problems, the perfected pallet of this invention has been devised, which has the particularity of being composed of several parallel stringers, which have one or several longitudinal or transverse guides on the upper surface and / or the lower one. by way of sliding the corresponding crossbars, provided with longitudinal or transverse guides complementary to those of the stringers.

The fixing between the stringers and the crossbars, once coupled by means of the corresponding guides, is carried out by means of fixing elements, which are introduced through holes made in the contact areas thereof and prevent the tearing of the wood caused by the nails ..

Another of the particularities presented by the pallet object of this invention is that both the crossbars and the stringers and the fixing elements are formed from recyclable or recycled plastic material, so this paiet has important advantages over known pallets. .

Among these advantages, it should be noted that being made of plastic material, they can be stacked in outside without being affected by the inclement weather, in terms of the increase in weight in case of rain, or the life of the same, so they have a much higher duration than conventional pallets.

Another advantage of the pallet that concerns us is that the coupling between the crossbars and the stringers is carried out by means of guides, and its subsequent fixing by means of joining elements allows, in case of breakage of any of the pieces that compose the pallet, the replacement of the damaged part by a new one can be done quickly and easily, taking advantage of the broken part to be recycled, which undoubtedly facilitates the repair of the pallets and a considerable reduction in raw material, due to the character recyclable material in which it is formed.

It is envisaged that the elements responsible for carrying out (to fix between the crossbars and the stringers are also made of recyclable plastic matte, with a hardness greater than those in order to make the fixation.

DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

As can be seen in the four referenced figures, the improved pallet of this invention is made up of several stringers (1) that have superior transversal guides (2) in figure (1) and (2) or longitudinal guides in figure (3). and (4) and inferiorly other guides (3), also transverse or longitudinal, defining the stringers (1) by the lower area and between the guides (3) some recesses (4), according to figures (1) and (3) .

Claims
