 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

   Advanced display for automatic games.

  Technical Field The present invention applies to all types of automatic games based on a moving body moving freely on a more or less horizontal plane comprising the targets or objectives to be achieved with a view to achieving a combination of figures and / or figures. giving rise to a result which can be associated with a gain or advantage in different forms.

  Known technical state Currently this kind of game includes for the display of combinations, game indications or results, a transparent or translucent glass or support, generally vertical, on which are drawn several boxes, fields or zones containing a figure or printed or screen-printed text, these boxes are lit from the back using a filament bulb. The content of the different boxes is visible even when they are not lit. These boxes are fixed color depending on the screen printing.

  Identification of the problem Today, the devices include several different types of games and the window must therefore contain all the information linked to all the games; however, the player can only select one game at a time, but the device displays a series of boxes and indications which are not related to the selected game. This can lead to confusion or even litigation in the event of ambiguity.

  In addition, once the colors have been chosen to make the glass, they are frozen and cannot change during the game, it is not possible to vary the color associations.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

  The use of filament bulbs requires regular maintenance to avoid litigation in the event of poor contact or a defective bulb.

  Definition of the aim and objective of the invention The aim of the present invention is to increase the reliability and the possibilities of play by the use of multicolored light sources, such as for example light-emitting diodes (LED), in place of the filament bulbs. In addition, the judicious use of the different colors and selection means such as colored filters and / or liquid crystal will make it possible to show only the information that is necessary and sufficient at a given moment in the game.

  Advantages of the invention The possibility of only showing the indications desired at a given time makes it possible to increase the playability of the device by reducing the risks of confusion for the player.

  The use of multicolored LEDs makes it possible to change the colors of boxes during the game and thus to change the color associations, thus offering the possibility of creating new game philosophies based on colors, while at the stage currently the colors are frozen by the screen printing of the glass.

  By playing on the lighting color of a box and by means of a set of colored and / or liquid crystal filters, it is possible to display only one among several different texts and / or figures in the same box.

  The fact of being able to light up a box of several different colors also makes it possible to create more attractive animations in the different games.

  LEDs are more reliable and have a longer lifespan than filament bulbs, maintenance of the devices will therefore be improved. The risk of litigation will also be reduced.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

  Variants The use of multicolored LEDs arranged in a matrix constitutes an interesting variant of the process, as it allows the creation of text or colored graphic figures, thus making it possible to add additional possibilities for games.

  The use of these methods on the more or less horizontal plane would also make it possible to add variants to the games offered.

  The accompanying drawings illustrate the new concept of the invention: In these drawings, FIGS. 1 A - 1 C represent an unlit display box (FIG. 1A) the same display box lit using a Colored LED (red), showing only the TILT display (in red); the same display box lit with a colored LED (green), showing only the WIN display (green); FIG. 2 represents a figure obtained by association in a matrix of multicolored LEDs (green, red and yellow colors).

  The examples of colors given here are of course not exhaustive, LEDs exist in a variety of colors ranging from red to blue and also include white.
