<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Description: Disposable pizza knife A disposable rotary knife for slicing pizzas is an interesting promotional item for various companies, for example for pizzerias that deliver to your home, manufacturers of pizza raw materials, individual customers, etc.
There are currently a few rotary blades where the blade is made of metal. In our case, the knife consists entirely of plastic or similar raw materials. Production takes place via injection machines, whereby, depending on the departure concept, single or sliding molds are used. We opt for a very easy to assemble concept to keep the end price as low as possible.
The patent thus relates to a disposable rotary knife (Fig. 1) for cutting pizzas consisting of a holder (10) and a circular knife (11), if not with a shaft opening (25). Both consist of a plastic or plastic combination. Each consists of at least one mold-injected part. But the knife can, for example, also consist of two layers. During assembly, the knife can either be placed in the holder (e.g.
A holder consisting of two sides that can be clicked into each other, whereby first the axis of the knife is placed in one side and then the second side-with connectors-is clicked in the first side, or the knife is placed in the already finished holder slid (e.g., a container consisting of two sides which are connected to each other by high-frequency or ultra-sonic welding and / or with glue, after which the fixed-axis knife via a self-leveling channel (32) in the two complementary axes) position openings of the holder).
Various information can be placed in or on the surface of the holder and / or the knife, such as logos (12), URL address, telephone number, drawings, texts. This happens afterwards: with screen printing, tampo printing, transfers, or during injection molding itself by means of emboising (35) and / or relief (36) that is processed in the mold form.
The holder is ergonomically shaped on the outside (13) so that it fits perfectly in the palm of the hand and allows for a good grip (eg with narrower and wider zones). The form itself can be formed in special presentations in, for example, an animal or cartoon figure.
A more expensive and more robust variety of holder will consist of a part (37) that is sprayed by means of a sliding mold.
Another production variation of the container is that which consists of two or more parts which is sprayed by means of a single-fold mold, and wherein each part has complementary openings and / or connectors with respect to the other part.
The most easily produced variant of holder (27) consists of one sprayed part in which the two sides (20, 27) are connected - with a thinner hinge strip (21) (cf. shell principle). These can be at the
EMI1.1
therefore easy to fold. There are 0 complementary (22) connectors and openings in each side that allow easy
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
forming a closure and / or possibly fused via HF (high-frequency) or US (ultra-person). It is sufficient to make a simple HF shape that treats these points locally to obtain a no-more-open pizza cutter.
The shaft can either be placed in the holder or be part of the knife. The best holder is probably the one in which the shaft (23) has already been injected into the two sides so that only the knife with an opening is inserted and the whole is closed.
The knife (24) in which a central opening (25) is provided is one in which an axle - whether or not made of plastic - can be placed (eg after mounting the knife in holder, the axle is subsequently inserted into the holder and knife and then thermally or HF / US sealed or welded in. It is also possible for a rivet to take over the axis function. to be.
In the version as shown in Fig. 3, there is a smoothing channel (32), the height of which on the outside decreases in proportion to the direction of the axis space (33), the height of the narrowest opening - provided that applying light pressure - allows the placement of the knife (30) / shaft (31) unit in the rear axle space, so that once the axle enters the axle space, the axle no longer comes out of the axle space can. So in this variant it is sufficient to slide the knife into the holder.
Replaceable inserts can be placed in the mold to enable cheaper and faster emboising and / or relief. This makes 3D figures and logos possible.
This rotary disposable knife can be supplied by pizza-home delivery services, in restaurants or as a promotional item in frozen versions or fresh pizzas. It can be a real mass product
