<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
La présente invention, comme caractérisée dans les revendications ci-jointes, conçoit un procédé pour la réalisation de chaussures qui prévoit la réalisation d'une chaussure comprenant une base destinée à être en contact avec le sol, une empeigne entourant la face supérieure d'un pied, et une semelle réalisée dans un matériau pouvant être plastiquement thermo-formé si soumis à une sollicitation thermique de valeur préétablie pendant une période de temps donnée ;
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
- la figure 1 consiste en une vue en perspective schématique d'une chaussure sans semelle, présentant une étape de la réalisation d'une chaussure selon la présente invention ; - la figure 2 consiste en une vue en perspective d'une semelle, renversée, et d'une forme servant à la réalisation de cette même semelle ;
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>
EMI6.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 7>
<Desc/Clms Page number 8>
partiel V2.
<Desc/Clms Page number 9>
partiel.
<Desc/Clms Page number 10>

The present invention relates to a process for the production of shoes and the shoe produced by this process, in particular a type of shoe which can be adapted to the conformation of the foot.
The invention relates to shoes which offer a high degree of comfort while retaining the fundamental shape, size and aesthetic characteristics of a shoe of the traditional type, for men, women and children.
As a general rule, shoes are manufactured in an essentially standard shape, that is to say that they have shoe characteristics which can adapt to pre-established average values presented by all of the feet, depending on the extent to which the shoe is designed.
It is clear that such a conformation of the shoe cannot in fact be addressed to all consumers; the problem resides in the fact that each person presents a particular conformation of the foot which determines, consequently, a specific distribution of the weight of the body on the soles of the feet, weight which rests directly on the interior base of the shoe during a walking or standing. Insofar as the inner base of the shoe is
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
standard conformation and therefore does not conform to the shape of the foot, the reaction of the sole and the base of the shoe to the weight of the subject is generally insufficient, thus reducing the degree of comfort and often preventing the subject from appreciating the qualities of the shoe itself.
Another problem often characteristic of shoes is that of poor ventilation of the foot inside the shoe, resulting in significant perspiration.
The object of the present invention is therefore to eliminate the aforementioned drawbacks by designing a method for producing shoes making it possible to conform the shoe to the foot to be fitted, and in particular to adapt the sole to the conformation of the soles of the shoes. feet according to the characteristics of support of this same sole of the feet on the sole.
The present invention, as characterized in the appended claims, designs a method for the production of shoes which provides for the production of a shoe comprising a base intended to be in contact with the ground, an upper surrounding the upper face of a foot, and a sole made of a material that can be plastically thermoformed if subjected to a thermal stress of preset value for a given period of time;
the upper and the base define a first volume or volume
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
total of the shoe while a second volume, or partial volume, the value of which is lower than that of the first volume, is defined by the vamp and the sole, so as to be able, when the shoe is heated to the preset temperature, adapt this same shoe to the conformation of a foot which is introduced into it during the given period of time.
Insofar as the sole can be thermoformed, one of the advantages of the present invention is therefore that of being able to mold the sole by copying the profile of the foot introduced into the shoe.
By making a series of holes on the sole, it is also possible to obtain perfect ventilation of the foot thanks to the air circulation established between the upper part of the sole and one or more empty spaces presented by the shoe. between the lower part of the sole and the upper part of the base.
In other words, the present invention allows the body weight of the subject to be distributed over a surface substantially larger than the standard surface presented by traditional shoes, thus reducing the negative stresses exerted on the foot and therefore tiring him. less. In addition, the distribution of the body weight over a considerably wider support surface contributes, especially for
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
women with medium or high heels, to reduce the risk of sprains caused by improper positioning of the foot due to the presence of the heel and a considerably reduced support surface in this type of shoe.
This characteristic is made more prominent by the use of a sole having lateral edges extending over a certain height, and being able to cover the sides of the foot when the latter is introduced inside the shoe produced according to this process.
A sole essentially surrounding the foot, that is to say a sole which conforms to the conformation of the foot, both at the level of the plant and on the sides of this foot, allows, together with the volume of air existing between the sole and the upper part of the base, to attenuate the shocks caused by walking, shocks which, in shoes of known type, are much more significant and feel with each step.
The technical characteristics of the invention, according to the above-mentioned objectives, are clearly presented in the appended claims and the advantages of this same invention will be made more salient in the preferred representation of the invention presented in the form of examples. non-limiting in the attached diagrams, in which:
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
- Figure 1 consists of a schematic perspective view of a shoe without a sole, showing a step in the production of a shoe according to the present invention; - Figure 2 consists of a perspective view of a sole, inverted, and of a shape used for the production of the same sole;
- Figure 3 consists of a perspective view of an embodiment of a sole produced according to the present invention; - Figure 4 consists of a perspective view of a shoe made according to the present invention with transparent parts and an enlarged detail; - Figure 5 consists of a perspective view, with an enlarged detail, of a shoe produced according to the present invention and fitted with one foot.
In accordance with the attached diagrams, the process to which the invention refers is intended for the production of shoes. The attached diagrams show by way of example a shoe for men with laces, type of shoe which can be produced according to the process in question: the invention can of course be applied to shoes of different shape and type such as for example, women's or children's shoes, as well as shoes with or without heels.
The process includes the following steps.
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
EMI6.1
As shown in the example in FIG. 1, a shoe 1a without sole is first produced. In particular, machining operations which make it possible to obtain an internally base (on its upper face) completely smooth, that is to say without any roughness, are used.
In practice, the shoe comprises an upper 2 surrounding the upper face of a foot, and a base 3 whose lower face is intended to be in contact with the ground.
The base 3 may of course not be of a single piece but may have several superimposed layers.
A first volume V1, also called the total volume of the shoe, is defined between the upper 2 and the base 3.
Regarding the sole, to be introduced inside the shoe, a standard sole 4 is made of a plastically heat-deformable material. The sole 4 is deformable when it is subjected to a thermal stress of value T1 preset for a given period of time.
For the actual production of the sole, as it is possible to see in the example of FIG. 2, a shape or model for sole 5 is used and has a contact surface (for the formation of the sole) allowing the molding of a sole, which, once introduced into
<Desc / Clms Page number 7>
a shoe, defines an interior volume of the shoe or partial volume V2 whose value is less than that of the total volume V1. In practice, a hypothetical layer of shape or model 5 would define a volume smaller than that of the shoe without the aforementioned sole.
The sole 4 can have, as shown in the diagrams of the example presented in Figures 2,3 and 4, an edge 40 which can cover a corresponding portion on the side of the foot. In other words, the sole can partially cover the lower part of the side of the foot, in the same way as the vertical sides of the shoe. To obtain a sole 4 thus shaped, the shape 5 may have an upper portion 50, or upper profile 50, shaped in addition to the shape of the sole to be obtained.
The sole 4 is then introduced into the shoe la and fixed to the latter, so as to produce a shoe-sole assembly 1 in which, thanks to the difference between the total volume V1 of the shoe and the partial volume V2 defined by the sole 4, there is an empty space V3 between the sole 4 and the upper face of the base 3 of the shoe 1.
Inside the shoe 1 and below the sole 4, in practice there is a third volume, the value of which corresponds essentially to the difference between the total volume V1 and the volume
<Desc / Clms Page number 8>
partial V2. The third volume V3 thus defined can be distributed over several zones of the sole 4, thus defining a plurality of empty spaces. Then, the shoe-sole assembly 1 thus obtained is heated until reaching the value Tl of thermoforming of the sole and, during the time necessary for the formation of this same sole, the foot 7 to be fitted is introduced into the shoe, as shown in Figure 5 (in which the 7 indicates the whole foot-lower leg portion).
In this way, the sole 4 is formed, at least in the zones situated at the level of the empty space V3 (or empty spaces), as a function of the surface presented by the sole of the foot 7 (and / or portions of the sides of the same foot), thus adapting the standard sole to the very characteristics of the foot, as a function of the distribution of the load P on the surface of the sole and of any contacts of the sides of the foot with the edge 40.
In addition to the characteristics already mentioned, a series of holes 6 can be made on the standard sole 4, so as to allow, once the sole 4 conformed according to the characteristics of the foot 7, the passage of air between the lower part and the part upper of sole 4, that is to say between one or more remaining portions of the empty space and the portion resulting from the volume
<Desc / Clms Page number 9>
partial. This air passage is made more salient in the details of FIGS. 4 and 5, where a configuration of the shoe without load P and a configuration of this same shoe with load P, with the corresponding air flow F being established d 'from one end to the other of the sole 4, are respectively represented.
The air passage is established from one end to the other of the sole 4 due to the movement exerted by the foot during walking.
As an alternative to making these holes 6, it is possible to use an air-permeable material to make the sole.
The holes 6 are preferably made before fixing the sole 4 to the shoe la, for example using glue and being careful to distribute it over the safe contact points existing between the sole 4 and the base 3, and of course avoiding plugging the holes mentioned above.
A shoe produced according to the present invention therefore comprises a base 3 intended to be in contact with the ground, an upper 2 surrounding the upper face of a foot, and a sole 4 made of a material that can be plastically thermoformed. The upper 2 and the base 3 can of course be shaped differently depending on the aesthetic-functional characteristics of the shoe.
<Desc / Clms Page number 10>
A first volume VI, or total volume of the shoe, is defined by the upper 2 and the base 3, while a second volume V2, or partial volume, the value of which is less than that of the first volume, is defined by upper and sole.
In this way, and by heating the shoe to the thermoforming value T1, it is possible to adapt the shoe to the conformation of a foot 7 which is introduced therein.
As described in the method, the sole 4 may have a series of through holes 6 allowing the passage of air between the upper part and the lower part of the sole 4 itself, at least at the empty spaces existing between the sole. and the upper face of the base of the shoe. The sole 4 can be made of an air permeable material.
The invention thus conceived can be subject to numerous modifications and variants, both falling within the scope of the concept of the invention. All the elements can also be replaced by technically equivalent elements.
