Abstract

A method of manufacturing decorative sheets, in which starting from a roll of wrapping paper which can be perfectly gathered without tearing, the paper is cut into regular sheets which are stacked on a table or smooth surface, then applied to each sheet different layers of matt plastic paint in different tones and colors to obtain different designs and decorative patterns, by applying this using compressed air guns, using very elastic paints, malleable and not fragile at break, and keeping my paint soft without drying it, we apply on it a light layer of sawdust or material of similar characteristics which retains its adhesion to the paint, and finally drying with intense heat and flame, for quick drying with perfect adhesion of the superimposed sawdust, and by cutting each sheet to size sion required, to allow subsequent gathering in order to form stable three-dimensional shapes.

   Method of manufacturing decorative sheets for making cribs, display cases, aquarium backgrounds and other applications
The invention to which we refer in the body of this specification relates to a new manufacturing process for obtaining decorative plates usable in decoration for the creation of cribs, display cases, model miniature trains, container linings with flowers, decorations for aquarium funds and other numerous applications, which can adopt various shapes by folding and subsequent conformation to the desired shape, to offer shapes imitating mountains, rocks and various landscapes, depending on the type of decoration applied in the process, having a very decorative effect when finished, remaining in an unalterable position,

   presenting certain structural and constitutive characteristics which differ notably from the various decorations currently existing; for reasons related to these qualities of novelty and practical utility the process is considered to present a sufficient basis for obtaining the privilege of exclusivity requested in matters of manufacture and sale by the holder in Spain, with as a consequence the present request for patent.



  The current technique uses various decorative means, however, presenting totally different characteristics from the decorative sheets obtained with the process which concerns us; no system similar to the process of the invention is known.



  Essentially, the process which is the subject of the present application starts from rolls of wrapping paper which can crumple perfectly without tearing, of variable length and width, by cutting the paper into regular sheets.

  The sheets obtained are stacked on a smooth or table surface.



  We then apply different layers of plastic paint in shades of different tones to obtain different designs and decorative patterns, all using compressed air guns, using very elastic paints, malleable and not fragile at break, and without drying the paint, a light layer of sawdust or similar material is applied to it in addition, which can come into contact with the paint without drying and which will remain stuck on it.



  Drying is then carried out using a large amount of heat and using a flame for rapid drying with perfect adhesion of the superimposed sawdust, and finally cutting each sheet to the required size; all these operations are repeated on the different sheets of the prepared stack, one by one.



  The sheets obtained by the manufacturing process to which we have just referred to form any shape, can be completely gathered from the four corners, one by one, in the direction of the center of the sheet, by compressing it to form a ball , always ensuring that the decorated surface remains in the exterior or visible part, giving it the shape corresponding to the desired figure or decoration, with or without installation of fastening clips below the walls to reach the desired height.



  Believing to have largely described each and every part constituting the process of manufacturing decorative sheets for display cases, aquarium backgrounds and other applications to which we have just referred, it only remains to say that there is the possibility of manufacturing these different parts in a variety of materials, dimensions, shapes and colors, and that it is also possible to introduce into the constitution of the process the variations of constructive type that practice recommends, without these being able to alter the essential points which are the subject of this patent application.

Process for the production of decorative sheets for the creation of cribs, display cases, aquarium bottoms and other applications, characterized essentially in that, starting from a roll of wrapping paper which can be perfectly gathered without tear, cut the paper into regular sheets which are stacked on a table or smooth surface, then apply on each sheet different layers of matte plastic paint of different tones and colors to obtain different drawn decorative patterns, by applying this to the using compressed air guns, using very elastic paints, malleable and not fragile at break, and keeping my paint soft without drying it,  a light layer of sawdust or material with similar characteristics is applied to it which retains its adhesion to paint, and finally drying by intense heat and flame, for rapid drying with perfect adhesion of sawdust superimposed, and cutting each sheet to the required size, to allow subsequent gathering in order to form stable three-dimensional shapes.
