<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
* bindkettingdraden 3, 4 die paarsgewijze zieh kruisen om een reeks openingen 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, enz. te vormen die telkens gelegen zijn tussen twee kruispuntgen (500, 501 voor de opening 50) van de bindkettingdraden 3, 4, * voor elke opening van een weefsel dat tussen twee bindkettingdraden gedefinieerd is, drie inslagdraden 6, 7, 8 die door de bindkettingdraden afgebonden worden, * spankettingdraden (9 voor het bovenweefsel, 10 voor het onderweefsel) en * pooldraden 11,12, 13 die onder-en bovenweefsel verbinden en die door de inslagdraden afgebonden zijn om pool te vormen tussen het bovenweefsel 1 en het onderweefsel 2, d.
i. werkende pool.
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
naast boven bepaalde opening 50 gelegen opening 49.
Pooldraad 13 loopt bij voorbeeld als volgt : a) tussen, enerzijds, de tweede en derde inslagdraad van de opening 49, en anderzijds, de eerste inslagdraad 6 van de opening 50 die de opening 49 van het bovenweefsel 1 volgt ; b) tussen de eerste 6 en de tweede inslagdraden 7 van de openingen 50, 51, 52, 53 van het bovenweef- sel l om ingebonden te worden in het bovenweef- sel l ; c) tussen de tweede en derde inslagdraden 7, 8 van de opening 53 en de eerste inslagdraad 6 van de opening 53 alsook tussen de tweede en derde inslagdraden van de opening 53 en de eerste inslagdraad van de opening 54 die de opening 53 volgt ;
d) tussen het bovenweefsel 1 en het onderweefsel 2 ; e) tussen, enerzijds, de eerste inslagdraad 6 van de opening 54 van het onderweefsel en, anderzijds, de tweede en derde inslagdraden 7, 8 van de opening 54 ;
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>
<Desc/Clms Page number 7>

TISSUE, IN PARTICULAR CARPET
The present invention relates to a fabric, in particular to a carpet fabric, in which the working pile threads or pile loops are specially bound, namely being bound and in which the non-working pile is bound.
Due to this special bonding, the free ends of the pile thread loops of the working pile run in substantially the same direction which is more or less perpendicular to the basic structure consisting of weft threads and warp threads.
The fabric according to the invention consists of binding warp threads, tension warp threads, weft threads and pile threads, binding warp threads intersecting in pairs to form a series of apertures located between two intersections of the binding warp threads of a pair, with pile threads or parts thereof tied to the weft threads while three weft threads pass through each opening to thus form a triple shot bond.
Three weft threads pass through each opening, the second and third of which are located approximately the same distance from a first intersection of an opening, the first being away from this first intersection from a distance greater than the aforementioned first intersection distance. second or third weft thread, so that said first weft thread is adjacent to the second intersection of the opening, which second intersection
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
first intersection is of an adjacent opening.
For each opening, a working pile thread extends between, on the one hand, the first weft thread and, on the other hand, the second and third weft threads of an opening and, on the one hand, between the second and third weft threads of the above opening and, on the other hand, the first and second weft thread of an opening located adjacent to above defined opening.
Thus, a pile thread runs in the fabric according to the invention before it is no longer tied between first and third weft threads of one or more openings and between the second and third weft threads of a particular opening on the one hand and the first weft thread of the first opening on the other hand. extending adjacent to said predetermined opening, between, on the one hand, the first weft thread of a particular opening and, on the other hand, the second and third weft threads of that particular opening.
In one embodiment, the fabric has two opposite sides, namely a back side and a pile side which faces the free ends of the pile threads which are cut with a known device. In that embodiment, the array of third weft threads faces the back with respect to the array of second weft threads, while the tension warp threads extend between first and third weft threads, the pile thread loops of the working or upright pile being protected along the back by those tension warp threads.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
According to a feature of the fabric according to the invention, the pile threads run before they are no longer bound in the fabric or before they are tied in the fabric between, on the one hand, the first weft thread of a certain opening and, on the other hand, the second and third weft threads of that particular opening and between, on the one hand, the second weft thread and the third weft thread of the above opening and, on the other hand, the first weft thread of an opening located adjacent to above.
In preferred embodiments, at least one weft thread per opening has a thickness less than the thickness of another weft thread.
The invention further relates to a structure consisting of two fabrics, of which at least one fabric is a fabric according to the invention.
Other features and details of the invention will flow from the following description which refers to the accompanying drawings.
In those drawings: figure 1 shows in cross section an embodiment of a structure according to the invention; figure 2 shows in cross-section another embodiment of a structure according to the invention, and figures 3 to 6 show the position of the weft threads in one of several embodiments relative to the other.
Figure 1 shows a structure according to the invention consisting of an upper fabric 1 and a lower fabric 2. Each fabric consists of:
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
binding warp threads 3, 4 which cross in pairs to form a series of openings 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, etc., which are in each case located between two intersecting genes (500, 501 for the opening 50) of the binding warp threads 3, 4, * for each opening of a fabric defined between two binding warp threads, three weft threads 6, 7, 8 which are tied by the binding warp threads, * tension warp threads (9 for the upper fabric, 10 for the lower fabric) and * pile threads 11, 12, 13 connect lower and upper fabric and which are tied by the weft threads to form a pile between the upper fabric 1 and the lower fabric 2, d.
i. working pool.
The weft threads 6, 7, 8 passing through an opening, b. v. 50, run from a fabric, also pass through the opening adjacent to the aforementioned opening formed between adjacent binding warp threads of the same fabric.
For each opening, b. v. 50, a first weft thread 6 is located after the intersection 500, while the other two weft threads 7, 8 are spaced approximately the same distance from the above intersection 500 of the opening in which the above weft threads 6, 7, 8 are located.
For each opening of each fabric 1, 2, at least one pile thread 11, 12, 13, 14 connecting the upper fabric 1 and the lower fabric 2 extends between, on the one hand, the first weft thread 6 and, on the other hand, the second 7 or the third weft thread 8 of an opening 50, and between, on the one hand, the first weft thread 6 of the above opening 50 and, on the other hand, the second or third weft thread of a
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
adjacent opening 49 located above above opening 50.
The weft threads 7, 8 are on either side of the tension warp threads 9, 10. For example, the weft threads 7, 8 are on either side of the tension warp thread 9 passing through adjacent openings 49, 50, 51, 52 of a fabric.
The tension warp threads 9 of the upper fabric 1 define a plane A, while the tension warp threads 10 of the lower fabric 2 define a plane B which is parallel to plane A.
The first weft threads of the upper fabric 1 and of the lower fabric 2 extend between those planes A and B.
For example, pile thread 13 runs as follows: a) between, on the one hand, the second and third weft thread of the opening 49, and on the other hand, the first weft thread 6 of the opening 50 following the opening 49 of the upper fabric 1; b) between the first 6 and the second weft threads 7 of the openings 50, 51, 52, 53 of the top fabric 1 to be tied into the top fabric 1; c) between the second and third weft threads 7, 8 of the opening 53 and the first weft thread 6 of the opening 53 as well as between the second and third weft threads of the opening 53 and the first weft thread of the opening 54 following the opening 53;
d) between the upper fabric 1 and the lower fabric 2; e) between, on the one hand, the first weft thread 6 of the opening 54 of the bottom fabric and, on the other hand, the second and third weft threads 7, 8 of the opening 54;
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
f) between, on the one hand, the second and third weft threads 7, 8 of the openings 54 of the bottom fabric 2, and on the other hand, the first weft thread 6 of the opening 55 covering the opening
54 follows; g) between the lower fabric 2 and the upper fabric; etc. h) between, on the one hand, the first weft thread 6 of the opening 55 and, on the other hand, the second and third weft threads 7, 8 of the opening 55, etc.
The pile thread 14 bound into the bottom fabric 2 runs * between the first weft thread 6 and the second weft thread 7 of the openings 50 and 51 of the bottom fabric; * then under the third weft thread 8 of the opening 51 d. w. z. between the first weft thread 6 and the back side R of the bottom fabric 2 (side to which the third weft threads 8 of the bottom fabric 2 are directed); * between, on the one hand, the first weft thread 6 of opening 52 and, on the other hand, the second and third weft thread 7, 8 of opening 51; * between the lower fabric 2 and the upper fabric 1, * between, on the one hand, the second and third weft threads of the opening 51 and, on the other hand, the first weft thread 6 of the opening 51, * between, on the one hand, the first weft thread 6 of the opening 52 of the upper fabric, and, on the other hand, the second and third weft threads of the opening 51, etc.
Figure 2 shows a structure similar to the structure depicted in Figure 1, except for the pile thread 13, before no longer being tied into the upper fabric and
<Desc / Clms Page number 7>
before being tied into the fabric, it extends between the first weft thread 6 and the second and third weft threads 7, 8 of an opening 51 and between the second and third weft threads 7, 8 of an opening 51 and the first weft thread 6 of an adjacent opening 52 of the bottom fabric 2.
By cutting the pile threads located between the upper fabric 1 and the lower fabric 2, two fabrics according to the invention are obtained.
Figures 3 to 6 show the location of the weft threads in relation to the other in fabrics according to the invention.
In the embodiment of figure 3, the weft threads 6, 7, 8 have the same thickness.
In the embodiment of Figure 4, the second weft thread 7 is thinner than the first and third weft threads 6, 8, while in the embodiment of Figure 5, the first weft thread 6 is thinner than the second and third weft threads 7, 8.
Finally, in the embodiment of Figure 6, the first and second weft threads 6, 7 are thinner than the third weft thread 8. For example, the first and second weft thread are about half as thick as the third weft thread forming the backing R of the carpet .
In the embodiments of figures 4 to 6 less pile thread material is used compared to the embodiment of figure 3 for the same pile height since the thickness of the first and / or second weft thread is smaller.
