  DESCRIPTION RECYCLAGE DE PNEUS USAGES

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

  DESCRIPTION RECYCLING OF USED TIRES
The invention relates to the reuse of used tires.

   The problem posed by used tires is well known and it is well known that it is not always possible to store them in large quantities on landfills, to retread them or to remould them.

   The invention proposes to remedy this problem by proposing, where no other use is possible or conceivable, to incorporate used tires in soundproofing partitions.

   Advantageously, tires cut in half in the direction of the diameter are used and the tires thus cut are incorporated in the soundproofing partition with their internal face facing the source or sources of noise.

   It is also possible to use tires cut in several sectors and incorporate the tires thus cut into the soundproofing partition with their internal face facing towards the source or sources of noise.

   The invention also relates to a soundproofing partition comprising, on at least one of its faces,

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

 tires cut in two or more parts in the direction of the diameter of the tire, the internal face of the pieces of tire being turned towards the source (s) of noise.

   The invention is now described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

   In these drawings, FIG. 1 is a front view of a soundproofing wall element comprising incorporated used half-tires; and - Figure 2 is an end view of the same partition element - Figure 3 is a block diagram showing the advantage of the invention.

   The bulkhead element designated as a whole 1 comprises a parallelepipedic frame 2 made up of side members 21 and cross members 22 and 23.

   The crosspieces 23 are fixed angles 3 provided with a perforation 31 through which passes a rod 4 provided with a net at its two ends. The rod 4 also passes through perforations made in the half-tire opposite the perforations 31. A nut also allows the tightening of the rod 4 at each end. As shown, the attachment of the half-tire is advantageously done at 3 points.

   As can be seen in the diagram in Figure 3, the noise from a point 0 propagates in a straight line in all directions and meets each concave tire surface, represented here in the form of a large and a small arc of circle respectively, at impact points A for the original sound and at impact points B or C for

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

 the twists of its original. It is understood that by multiplying the hollow surfaces, the absorption of sound will be significant in the direction of orientation of these surfaces.

   It is understood that the invention is not limited to the embodiments described above, given solely by way of example.
