EMI1.1

EMI1.1
Ventilated battening process for covering the roof with an under-roof and its realization device. The present invention relates to roof covering with under roof and relates to a ventilated battening process.
A roof covering with under roof requires various operations of counter-battening, tracing, measurement of spacing and nailing.
To facilitate these operations and obtain an appreciable time saving while obtaining a precise work, a maximum ventilation of the roof and, in the case of flexible under roof, (a possibility of stretching it perfectly, it seemed advantageous according to the invention to create a Lattage process, which consists in placing under the slats and on the rafters of small connectors or counter-latching wedges and in positioning these small connectors for each latte by an adjustable spacer bearing by stops on the faces facing each other - screw of two connectors of the same rafter of two contiguous slats.
To carry out the iL process is planned according to the invention.

tion a spacer constituting an articulated and possibly graduated bracket, connected, on the one hand, the head of a nailer and, on the other hand, behind the loader of said nailer and provided with two sliders with their stop .
According to the invention also The small connectors or counter-traction shims are in the form of a U-shaped bowl, the branches of which have a reverse L-shaped profile.
The invention is now decent with more details on the basis of the accompanying drawing, by way of example only, showing in: Figure 1 The implementation of the method; Figure 2 a plan view of this implementation; Figures 3 and 4 an elevation view respectively from the rear and from the front of this implementation, and Figure 5 a perspective view of a small connector to be used with the method.
There is shown in Figure 1 a roofing element with a rafter 1, a flexible sub-roof 2, and battens 3. For the placement of the first batten 3 there is on each rafter 1 at the ends, after measurement, a small connector 4 with the small branch of the L-shaped profiles towards the rear. On the edge of the large branch of the L-shaped profiles of the small connectors 4 we place a Latte 3 and we nail the whole Latte 3 and connector 4 on the rafter 1 with a same

nail through the nailer.
Below said batten 3 and on all the other rafters 1, then place a collector 4 and nail the assembly each time as above.
To position the next slat in height, a spacer 5 according to the invention is used, mounted on a nailer 6. This spacer is formed by a graduated bracket 7 fixed, on the one hand, in 7 'to the head of the said nailer and, on the other hand, at 7 "at the end of the magazine 10 of the nailer. Said bracket 7 carries two sliders 8, 9 each provided with a stop, respectively 8 ', 9'.
The positioning is done on an end rafter. the spacer is placed in such a way that the rear stop 9 'is supported on the small corresponding connector 4 of the first batten 3. This rear stop has been positioned on the bracket so that the distance between the two stops 8', 9 'corresponds to the distance chosen between the faces facing two neighboring connectors on the same rafter.
Against the stop 8 ′ of the spacer 7 is placed a small connector 4 and the Latte 3 and connector 4 assembly is nailed to the rafter. The operation is re-

new on the other rafters at the same height.
As above, connectors are placed under La Latte and on each rafter and the assembly is nailed.
The operation is therefore repeated for positioning and fixing each slat 3.

EMI4.1
By their conformation in bowl the small connectors, which hold firmly in place The slats even under heavy loads, create under these Slats a Blade of air circulating freely.
Thanks to the invention, in a single operation, an exact and precise spacing of the planed or not planed battens is obtained, an extremely robust fixing of the battens and the buttresses of the battens, maximum ventilation of the roof, the elimination of the preliminary counter-battling operations. and tracing and the possibility of perfectly stretching flexible sub-roofs.
Of course, the invention is applicable with rigid under roofs or with a traditional hammer nailing and, in this case, the spacer described is independent of a nailer.
