Abstract

Une plaque isolante rigide faite de matière polymère expansée qui comporte un premier substrat un second substrat et une couche rigide de matière expansée intercalée entre ces substrats, est fabriquée par amenée de l'un des substrats sur un transporteur et par dépot d'agents de réaction de matière expansée à l'état liquide sur le substrat par une buse d'applicateur qui peut etre déplacée en travers du substrat. Le second substrat est appliqué aux agents de réaction liquides de matière expansée par un cylindre de calandrage, qui est réglable en hauteur en vue de l'obtention d'une ame de matière expansée d'épaisseur voulue. Les substrats sont ensuite, avec les agents de réaction liquides de matière expansée, amenés à passer dans un four afin que les agents de réaction se dilatent par libre levée.
