Abstract

The proposal is for a device for actuating a braking pressure transmitter for motor vehicles, consisting of a pivoted actuating pedal and a two-piece actuating rod consisting of two telescoped sections which are connected together to transmit force. According to the invention, between the two sections (3, 4) there is a locking mechanism (5) which can be released by the control signal of a crash sensor, making it possible to shorten the assembly length of the actuating rods (2).
