ADJUSTABL
1 E BERIJEY AN~D LIVE BAIT CANNISTEBR This invention is a need for an improvement in a distributor for attracting life forms by a means of continuous distribution of food substances for life forms in a body of water.
Fishing people use different food substances for life forms in a body of water for attracting them to their fishing spot's.
The most common method of berleying is to throw the berley into the water adjacent to the users line. The food substance however, is repeatedly dissolved to nothing in a short amount of time by wind and the movement of the water.
Other said distributors are tubes closed at one end, having holes consisting of any shape or form in their walls, can be connected to the said boat externally to the side of the boat, which allows the fish only on the surface to be taken. Food substance is put in the tube and forced through the holes with an aid of a plunger. These other sai. distributors are of a bulky nature and are not able to control the flow of the food substance to the forms of life in the water. The distribution of food substances from these said distributors are spread by current or boat action in the water. The said distributors in the foregoing method is only suitable for surface fishing.
There has been a need for a distributor of light weight material, which can be used at any desired depth and any position.
This problem is overcome by the present invention, which has a means for attaching the distributor to a line, allowing it to be positioned at any depth required to take advantage of surface, bottom or the middle of the water fishing. This invention also control's the amount of substance that you require at any speed.
It is a feature of the invention that the said distributor *5.30 continues to release food substance at any speed that is required.
This invention in it's broadest form comprises a distributor consisting of three parts. First, a inner tube frc~yrttc with holes consisting of any shape or form in the wall of the tube, with an opening at one end of the tube.. The other end forms the base of the invention.
2- Second, an outer tube with holes consisting of any shape or Torm, for easy closure or opening of, mddle tube. This second outer tube is a duplication of inner tube, but has a opening at both ends, one with a ridge on base to help support inner tube.
Thirdly a threaded lid or cap for closure, which is also used for distance of holes consisting of any shape or form, that can be opened or closed, comprising of a locking device on said lid or cap. When inner tube is placed within the outer tube, the -W ,protrudes to help position said holes of any shape or form to what is required and to secure in position when lid or cap is placed on it.
nridge The outer tube has a rgp- form for inner tube to sit on. The inner rt has said means for availability for attaching said
A
distributor to anchor or line with easy movement up or down or when fishing from rocks or wharfs, when they could or could not be weighted.
The food or substance is put into said distributor through the top section and the lid or cap is replaced. The line or rope e 2 is attached to hole, consisting of any shape or form on said 20 distributor lid or cap, on one or both ends. The said *distributor is lowered to whatever depth is desired. The food re. Iecses iir e substance in the distributor slowly -eep.ee- in the water through the holes consisting of any shape or form in the wall of the tube.
O 25 The materials used in said distributor are made of plastics, o nylon material or can be made in any other non corrosive material applications, so said distributors is not heavy or bulky. The said distributor can be construc, ,d to any size or shape that may be required, also can be used as a said live bait cannister.
30 When said lid is secured in place it presses on inner tube to stop it from moveing out of the opening hole position that is required.
-3- To assist with understanding the invention, reference will now be made to the accompanying drawings.
In the drawings: Figure 1 is a view of the cross section of the outer tube and the base section of that tube.
Figure 2 is a view of the cross section of the inner tube and base including solid extension for use in a cannister being tied up.
Figure 3 shows top and two side views of lid of said invention.
Figure 4 is a plain view of the distribution according to one form of the invention.
*t g S* o *e.
4 500 -4- Referring to Figure 1, this shows a view of the outer 1 tube.
The outer tube has an opening at both ends. On the outer tube wall 2 there are holes consisting of any shape or form. On the base of the outer tube 35, there are lugs put evenly around tube to help grip. On the top part of the outer tube 4, there is a small lug on two sides, opposite each other for holding on lid.
The base 5 of the outer tube, has a ^aifor inner tube to sit on 6.
Figure 2. is a view of the inner sleeve of said invention with an opening at one end and a solid extension 8 of base being domed of the inner tube 9 at the other end with a hole 10 for tying by rope, line or weight, plus also side views of solid extension of base with hole.
a 15 Figure 3. is an example of 11 the top part of the lid, with one side 11 view of said lid. Another view in this section is a side view of lid with dome 14 showing slot section 15 for placement of lug in securing the lid.
Figure 4. is a plain view of said invention, showing inner 7 and outer 1 tube, plus also lid 11 for said invention. The lid or cap also has a dome solid extension 12 and hole 13. The fug said lid or cap has a locating pin 4 for l~ogsection of lid to lock into

Claims (2)
