ORIGINAL
COMPLETE SPECIFICATION STANDARD PATENT Invention Title: FRONT PLATFORM OF A LIFTING DEVICE.
The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method of performing it known to me:o o o ooo* oo 6 2 FRONT PLATFORM OF A LIFTING DEVICE The subject of the invention is a front platform of a lifting device according to Australian patent application 76369/91, used for lifting, dislocation and storage of machines, equipment and commodities, e.g. cars.
The platform known from the invention according to the application 76369/91 entitled "Lifting device" moves in principle parallel in relation to the base and is supported by a flexible-connector system comprising at least one servo-motor. The platform of a lifting device is always in at least one slidable articulated joint connected with a movable flexible connector and in at least one articulated joint, slidable in relation to the plane of the platform connected with a deflectable flexible connector. The ,latform of the lifting device is a rigid structure unsusceptible to irregularities of the ground and not correcting the inclination of the device.
The object of the invention is to avoid these inconveniences and to design such an element of a lifting .ooo.i device, which is separably connected with the platform of the device and which facilitates positioning, driving-in and dislocation of machines and commodities on the lifting device.
This object has been attained by designing a front platform of a lifting device, which has two section beams, the profiles of which grow smaller towards the front of the platform, and Doetween beams it has a covering supported on brackets and separably fastened. To the front edge a wedge with limited deflectability is fastened, while in the rear part the front platform has at least two fastening lugs and at least two adjustable clamping screws. The wedge is 3 fastened by hinges through journals and in the extreme lower position it abuts against the edge with limiters. Journals are preferably fastened with pins to hinges of the wedge.
Each of the screws is located inside the profile of the beam of the front platform and fastened separably by a journal and a pin.
The subject of the invention in an example of its embodiment is presented in a drawing, of which Fig.l shows a side view of the front platform of a lifting device, and Fig.2 shows a top view of the front platform.
The front platform of a lifting device has two beams 1 connected separably with a covering 2 supported on brackets 16. To the edge 9 of the front platform a deflectable wedge 3 with a rim 4 is fastened. In hinges 5 and 17 and in tube 6 journals 7 fastening the wedge 3 are embedded. Journals 7 S.o are protected by pins 15 passing through segments 5 of hinges. The wedge 3 abuts against the edge 9 with its limiters 8. The front platform has two fastening lugs with holes 11, as well as two adjustable clamping screws 12.
SScrews 12 are fastened separably by a journal 13 and a pin 14.
The subject of the invention makes it possible to S readjust the platform of the lifting device according to application 76369/91 to any irregularities of the ground. At the same time adjustment of adjustLble fastening screws and the wedge angle setting of the front platform enable the desirable inclination of the platform, what facilitates loading, unloading and storage of, for example, cars.
